I placed an order on 9 September. It is now 21 October and I have had absolutely no communication from Sofa Clearance Outlet. I have emailed but NO response and telephoned several times and get cut off each time! Is this company a scam?

Kept popping up on my social media. 1 WEEK DELIVERY. Took a browse, as you do, found a perfect fit, colour match, thought wow, this is great, and makes the deadline for move in date, meaning we won’t be on deck chairs for more than a few days. 15 days and counting.. they don’t know where the sofa is, left warehouse, somewhere in the UK? No idea on delivery dates, every time I phone the person more clueless than the last, it’s an unsolved mystery. Apparently it’s my fault for not living near the warehouse, and unrealistic of me to expect delivery in 7 days, as per the advertised timescale. I just wish they were honest in the adverts, say it will be a month, two months, whatever is achievable, then I can manage expectations, shop elsewhere, or find something suitable whilst we wait, but the 7 day was appealing in our situation, but it’s false advertising and “was never possible” according to chap on the phone. Fingers crossed for this month… first we have to find it!!!

The sofa clearance outlet has a really wide choice of sofas, so if you see something you like then snap it up quickly as there are some real bargains to be had. Phil was super helpful with the arrangements for our delivery and when I had a problem with my phone and the first delivery attempt couldn't be made, despite the driver trying to contact me, both Phil and Khan helped to rearrange the 2nd delivery, which all went well. The delivery guys were great, they assembled the furniture and made sure we were happy with everything before leaving. Great service. Great company to deal with.

Paid for and ordered on line. Very little communication to inform me when to expect delivery.
As it was a power recliner I obviously needed the cable etc to use it.
There was no cable and 5 days later still no cable..
It would have been easier, cheaper and less stress to get a sofa from a charity shop!!
Update - the customer care team have helped me out and vastly improved the experience.

I would like to thank all of the staff at Southport Sofa Outlet, in particular, Phil and Khan for being so helpful in the past few weeks. I purchased 2 footstools, a recliner chair and a sofa -all excellent quality and very reasonably priced.

I never write reviews but the whole experience was so good that I just have to.
I placed the order in the evening and the next morning received a phone call to say when it would be delivered, and to get delivery instructions. Delivery due only a few days later. I was kept updated all the way through to it arriving, even with a phone call from the courier when they were on their way.
Then it arrived. I swear that in my 48 years I’ve never had a sofa this swanky (Benz power recliner - buy one!!) and comfortable.
All round, if I could give this experience more stars then I would.

After some trouble ordering on the website I called the helpline- Dominic was fantastic, giving me multiple solutions til we found one that worked- and staying on the line with me to test! Very polite and helpful guy.

From start to finish I have been really impressed with the professionalism and customer service I received when purchasing my sofa and matching chair. The team in store were very friendly and helpful and delivery of my items was very quick. I'd recently had new carpets laid in my lounge and the delivery team even took their shoes off (without me asking) when moving the sofa in. I'm really pleased with my purchase, such good value for money for a high quality item. Thank you very much! I wouldn't go anywhere else to look for my next sofa purchase!

The staff at the Southport store were brilliant, especially Phil. Really helpful and knew exactly what i was looking for and even brought up pics of other foot stools coming into store soon to give me lots of choice. Measured it up for me and even put it in my car, great place, cheap prices, quality furniture and wonderful staff, thank you!

Amazing company! Saved so much money and the sofas are amazing quality and brand new. One of the matching chairs to the set we were wanting was sold out. I spoke with phill over the phone and he was able to source it for me within minutes! Delivery was very quick and delivery men were super nice, carried sofas up to our second floor flat and assembled them while placing in the exact spot we wanted. Amazing customer service. The cables come separately in the post and there was a slight delay but once I chased it up with the customer service team it was sorted. Super happy and recommend this company to everyone.

I cannot believe how good this experience was. Amazing price - great delivery experience as well. Delivery was a bit expensive for 1 chair but the chair was so cheap it didn’t matter. Can’t stop looking at my chair - it’s beautiful. it was so cheap I almost feel like I robbed them! Bought on Tuesday, was in my lounge by Friday even though I’m in Kent.

I bought a power reclining sofa for my living room. I expected this to be good given the positive reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a sofa in new condition. Unfortunately, I had an issue with the lead powering one of the motors. This can happen with power recliners and most probably was down to my bad luck. After contacting the customer care I received immediate, courteous and professional assistance. I would like here to commend Laura for this. The problem was sorted in less than 48h. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase and I recommend buying from sofa clearance outlet. Buy with confidence and enjoy your new sofa.

Saw the exact items to match our existing chair, we purchased a 2 seater sofa, swivel chair and storage stool to complete our suite. This was great as we knew the range had been discontinued. This Sofa Clearance Outlet is easy to deal with and as some amazing deals although the delivery is rather expensive if you live quite a way from Southport (we were 60 miles) but it’s worth every penny to use their couriers rather than national couriers as these lads are attentive and really know what they are doing. Items were in place in seconds. Very Happy!

Received delivery today of my dog bed for one very pampered pooch! Great communication from start to finish staff were extremely helpful and kept me informed of the status of my delivery throughout. Amazing delivery service from panther the courier they use, my item was collected from sofa clearance outlet Wednesday and with me today. Fully recommend.

Having never purchased furniture from anywhere other than the usual multinationals, I was hesitant to buy from an outlet without even viewing the item of furniture. From the initial telephone query through to ordering and delivery in 72 hours to rural Scotland, the whole process was simple and faultless.
The armchair was precisely as per the images and description given to me during the 'phone conversation plus an absolute bargain too.

Bought Gracy 2 corner - Love the sofa and price not bad, but not quite the discount stated. They include the insurance and guarantees in the original price - all stuff you don’t get from them - so how can it be included?!
Also wish the staff didn’t try to B/S you. Tried to convince me that one button operation recliner included power headrest. As if I haven’t already looked at loads! Then told me there was a battery pack included which was actually just a second power lead. 4 star for sofa, not so much for the sales patter
