Lightning fast service and quality gloves

I purchased a pair of Antarctic Exploration Mittens, for my aging Raynaud's affected hands. These are unquestionably the best snowboarding mittens I have ever bought, and I have 30 years of purchasing history from every major brand. Shipping was easy, and fast. The UK Pound has a brutal exchange rate with the Australia peso, but it was worth the price.

we were very impressed with the speedy delivery and once the gloves arrived, found that the gloves are really well made with some clever design features that show that these were designed by skiers for skiers.

Very happy that they will be suitable for a cold season in Canada.

Those gloves are the best I ever had, I rode them for 4 seasons (60+ days/season) from Japow to icy Swiss alps to the deep heavy Canadian powder, they never let me down. The leather is great quality, resisted to my shreded edges and providing a very decent grip for grabs.
I eventually ripped one cuff last winter making them impossible to tie around my wrist and turned them into working gloves,
I'm a carpenter and winter here in British Columbia can be tough. I've been dry and warm all winter.

Snow Shepherd Softshell Ski Patrol gloves.
Had to send back the Lifty style gloves I originally ordered because they just didnt feel right for me. Tried these as an alternative and i like the fit. Used them skiing for about 8-9 hours a day for five days and found them to be well made, warm, and dry. Possibly a little too warm for the conditions in the Alps this February half term, +12C, thinner gloves would have been better but I forgot to pack them!

I already have two pairs of the original work gloves and use one for skiing and one when cutting logs. Both have proved excellent.

These black leather gloves have been great. As warm as ever, but on a Spring trip to Les Arcs with mixed conditions the waterproof Hipora membrane is a real game changer. Dry hands even in very wet snow.

BTW the ski instructors and lifties are still wearing the original style.

The leather has shaped to my hands within one week.

I ordered the 3 finger mittens black. After 20 days I received my package (international delivery took some more time, but it is worth the wait). The mittens are well finished, look professional and feel very sturdy. For comparable products you will pay tens of euros more (even including the customs clearance costs), so about the price/quality ratio it is very good! Sidenote, I have not been able yet to test them in the snow, but they ensured me even with -20°C my hands will be warm. Finally the direct contact with Brandon (one of the owners) is nice, quick and sufficient. Therefore, I would rate customer service 10/10 based on my experience. I would recommend Snow Shepherd to friends and family.

I’m rarely motivated to leave feedback but I must say how impressed I am with Snow Shepherd, not only with the product (after a week on the slopes, the gloves are as good if not better than anything else on the market) but also the communication.

I work in customer service myself and it’s such a pleasure for me to experience great service particularly in the UK.

It amazes me how so many businesses seem unable to keep to these three basic tenets:

1. On brief (product or service as described)
2. On time (delivered when promised)
3. On price (no hidden or extras costs)

Helpful and delivery came quickly. Glove quality is excellent, warmest gloves. They last too!

Ordered a Ortovox avalanche airbag pack a while back and after using it during a ski season, sent it back so that it could be serviced. All went well and they told me that they had it back in their hands ready to be returned to me. However, I have heard nothing from them since and no phones are being answered, no emails have been replied to and i just can't seem to get hold of them almost 9 MONTHS after they received the pack for servicing. This is an expensive and extremely important piece of kit that is a necessity for my job and so you can see my frustration of not having it after already having to go one winter without it causing me to be unable to do certain aspects of my job.
Wish I could say better things about the company as they were great in the past (I've even recommended them to friends who have used them for large orders) however they are now an extremely poor company to deal with and I would never recommend them.

I ordered some piste signs in OCTOBER for a Christmas present and after MONTHS of chasing and being fobbed off, they were delivered in MARCH. They were the wrong size, wrong type and were rubbish. I called to complain and was told that the hand painting 'added atmosphere' - they look like a 10 year old painted them for a school project. I returned them and then had to chase AGAIN to get a refund. DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS.

Great help when I needed a specific item by the next day, and more than happy to give general help and advice. Great personal service, and v competitive prices. Will be my first choice for ski equipment in future.
