Warranty issues
I purchased a Samsung Q80D QLED TV from Smart Home Sounds, which was advertised as including a “Free 5-Year Warranty.” Unfortunately, when I needed warranty support, the retailer refused to honour it, citing promotional terms and claiming it was my responsibility to register with Samsung within 90 days.
Despite sending emails explaining my situation, I received no helpful response, and no effort was made to assist me as a customer. This was extremely disappointing, especially given the cost and the way the product was advertised.
Thankfully, Samsung themselves repaired the TV promptly, replacing the backlight and main board, and the picture is now perfect. That said, my experience with Smart Home Sounds leaves me unable to recommend them, as they clearly don’t go the extra mile for customers.

You mentioned that the free 5-year warranty was an important reason for choosing to purchase from us.
Where we advertise the extended warranty, we also display the warranty registration information in two separate places before checkout, including links to Samsung’s terms and conditions and instructions on how to redeem the offer, so you know before purchasing that you will need to redeem the warranty.
As part of Samsung’s promotion, the extended warranty must be registered directly with Samsung within 90 days of purchase. This requirement is set by Samsung and applies to all retailers participating in the promotion, and unfortunately retailers aren’t able to override or backdate registrations outside of this window.
Following your emails, our support team responded promptly and also liaised with Samsung on multiple occasions to see whether a goodwill repair could be arranged or if the warranty could be extended despite the registration window having passed. As the promotion is administered directly by Samsung, these decisions ultimately sit with them.
That said, we’re very pleased to hear that Samsung were able to repair your TV promptly and that everything is now working perfectly again. - SHS
Excellent customer service
Overall really pleased with the headphones I purchased. I needed to get back in touch as the headphone pads developed an issue. The customer service I received from Amelia has been excellent. She was super friendly, helpful and proactive in getting the issue sorted.

my purchase was dispatched within a couple of hours & arrived the next day via DPD , I was able to track the package so knew exactly when it would arrive at my door .
the price is always very competitive , They stock the very latest kit & all the major brands I won't shop anywhere else .

I had questions and the response time and the quality of the response was 1st class.
They had the product I wanted and they price matched to ensure they were the cheapest no trying to wriggle out of it they just matched it.
And the delivery was excellent shame there in no option for 10 stars

Thank you for your feedback and we're very sorry to hear about the disappointment caused, particularly as the turntable was intended as a special 50th birthday gift.
As soon as you contacted us on 19th February and sent over the video of the issue, our team reviewed it and identified that the stylus appeared to be the cause rather than a fault with the turntable itself.
To resolve this as quickly as possible, we contacted Audio-Technica immediately to arrange a replacement stylus to be sent directly to you, which was delivered within 5 working days.
We chose this route because it is typically the fastest way to get a turntable up and running again, avoiding the longer process of returning and exchanging the entire unit.
We also confirmed that if the replacement did not resolve the issue, we would of course arrange a return and refund.
We're pleased to hear that the replacement stylus resolved the problem and that your turntable is now working.
We do appreciate that this wasn't the ideal experience, especially given the occasion the gift was for.
Our team always aims to resolve issues as quickly as possible while keeping customers updated throughout the process, we we believe we've done in this case.

Not going to lie, I'd not heard of Smart home sounds before. I couldn't be happier i found the online while looking for some new ear buds,Not only we're they cheaper than ever where else but next day delivery. Great and yes they was ,really surprised most places offer next day but at a ridiculous cost. Free delivery.
