With that volume, occasional operational issues can occur under normal circumstances. What is not normal is the inaccurate and misleading narrative currently reflected on our Trustpilot page. The current reviews do not reflect our business, our ethics, or our 10-year track record. They are the result of a documented competitive attack. This is not a reflection of our business. It is a consequence of platform failure. The continued visibility of inaccurate and manipulated reviews is materially harming our company and misrepresenting who we are. Ordered 12/2022 delivered 4/2024, what???
Considering that I had forgotten about this product because it was delivered 1 1/2 years AFTER I ordered it, it works pretty well and is well made but way overpriced. Apparently I’m not the only one with this experience.

As you live with it you'll also see that your SHHHOWERCAP® should last for 3-5+ years (at minimum! some last as long as 10 years depending on care) so thats where the value reallllly pays off.

Love the product but it took 4 months to receive. I thought it was a scam. I didn’t hear anything from the company until they shipped it 4 months after purchasing.

Back order took 5 months
I love the product and have purchased several, but this one took 5 months to send. I knew it would be awhile when I ordered it, but 5 months is a seriously long time. I won’t gift one of these again.

Style, Function, Quality!
I have a beautiful shhhowercap that has been taken over by the two other (young) ladies in my home ;) it’s stylish AND functional. The fabric feels luxurious and the grip to keep your hair from getting wet is awesome. I’ve even used it at night to keep my hair from knitting while I sleep. I love that I’m supporting a woman-owned small business by telling all my friends to get one!

The delivery took 6months
The delivery took 6months. Each time I enquired about the order , I either got no reply or a computer generated reply--really saying nothing! I was in the process of trying to claw back the money when they suddenly appeared.

WORST purchase experience of my LIFE. Can’t even get a refund after TWO years….. I purchased 1 x Black shower cap on 4 April 2022. It hasn’t arrived, I’m still waiting, and they have stopped responding to my countless emails. I have proof of everything and everything I have said is truthful. I should not have ordered from this company in the first place. It would have been very helpful to have seen reviews like mine at the time of purchase.
To add based off reply: your team offered to refund “cost of shipping” only as a “sorry for taking so long to ship your order”. I have not been refunded for the cap itself. I would like the rest of my money refunded. I have sent you a couple more emails in the last couple of weeks…no response from you until your response to my public review!
As of 27 July 2024, I haven’t received this shower cap you offered to send me in your reply to this review OR a full refund of the cap you never sent.

Great shower cap NOT worth terrible service
The shower caps are great, but 5 months to receive them? What bad business to not even check in with the customer at some point with a status. I even emailed, heard nothing back. Absolutely ridiculous, will not be ordering again.

I waited (not exaggerating) over a year, if not more (i can’t even remember at this point), to receive this product. It’s a basic shower cap. The one i got from CVS for $5 works just as well, if not better for thicker hair. I never review products but this was quite possibly the most ridiculous consumer experience I’ve ever had 😂

I feel like 2 stars is very generous! I ordered my shower cap November 2023 & didn’t receive it until April 2024. The shower cap is cute & stylish, but pretty tight on my small head, has not stretched much. If you have a larger sized head with a medium to full amount of hair good luck! $50 is really expensive too. I bought another shower cap on Amazon for $10 that is adjustable with a nice lining & is just as stylish for $10 that is much better quality. Hope this helps!

Great product, nightmare customer service.
I ordered this shower cap over a year ago and finally received it last week. For the first six months I tried corresponding with the company (even chatting directly with the founder via instagram once!). They refused to cancel my order and refund me. Instead I was told I had to wait for my cap then I could send it back to them if I wanted a refund. Also, the shipping ETA was always quoted as 2 weeks - every single time I spoke with them … for 6 months. I finally gave up - the emotional toll wasn’t worth the $40 they were holding hostage.
Then, a few weeks ago I get an email notification that my cap has shipped! Wow. The truth is, this is my 3rd cap from them. I’m an OG fan. I am using her, she works perfectly and she looks great in my bathroom. But! when she wears out someday I will not be replacing her with another Sssshowercap. The experience was just too over the top terrible.

I ordered this cap on Dec. 5, 2023. Tried to communicate with you only to be put off. Cap arrived in late April, well after I needed it for a Christmas gift. It was a gift for my daughter in law. In the mean time she was able to place an order when I was put off as you were taking a break.

I took one of the caps back to Australia for my sister who is a die hard shower cap user. She’s just never had one of these before. I also have one for myself and I love a product that is designed and produced thoughtfully, to last, and that is made onshore in the United States, is women owned and operated!
