I have curly hair, this shower cap smash’s my hair so I may as well just wash it. I cannot use this!

Absolutely love my shhhowercap! No other product comes close to the quality and design, so I’m hooked for life!!

I placed the order for this cap on December 9th, 2022. I thought that I would receive the cap by December 25, 2022. However, Christmas came and went and there was no cap. I inquired to customer service via email, which is the only way to contact this company. Initially I received no correspondence. One month then two months go by and I have inquired to customer service again. This time I repeatedly kept getting automated replies. ultimately by May or June 2022 I basically gave up trying to reach out to see if I could get a refund for my order which was $50. All of a sudden on September 1, 2022 I received an email from an actual individual. In that email, it was relayed to me that I would receive my cat by September 30 or I would get a full refund. September 30 came and went, and there was no cap delivered to me and there was also no refund. I then inquired to customer service or replied to that same email to ask about my refund and I was assured that my cap would come. By December I had told the company to forget my order and not reach out to me via email anymore. All of a sudden on April 4, I was notified that my cap would be delivered on April 9. and on April 9, 2000 2416 months after it was originally ordered out of nowhere the cap showed up. So the only positive thing out of all of this is that after 16 months the company actually did deliver the product. However, I think that the company needs to actually look at themselves and explain to me everything that they did wrong, they did everything that they did, and what they are going to do in the future to make sure that this happens to no other customers.

I have bought at least 6 shower caps from #shhhowercap over the past many years. I use mine almost every single day, and has been one of the best gifts for that woman who has everything. The company seemed to disappear for awhile, but I am happy to say they are back. 😁👍🏻

so excited! Trust me, once you use this shower cap you will never use anything else. It fits well, dries quickly, and the design choices are great. I highly recommend.

I placed this order in December 2022. I tried for months to cancel and obtain a refund due to ridiculous delays. I tried to get a response from the company for months, and never got one. 16 months later I received the product. I can't support this company or its product. The only way I can initiate a return is via email. It has been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for action. Terrible Customer Experience All Around--and the product simply isn't worth it.

Ordered products in November. Was totally ghosted and received no communication from the company until the package arrived in March, ~4 months after the original order.

Took them 2 years and multiple emails and phone calls to receive my one little shower cap! But they took my money right away. It’s a scam, the cap was cheap material!

I am one of many customers who have paid money for a product they have NEVER received.
I placed an order and paid almost $300 *Nov 2022*!!!…Still nothing.
The Founder messaged me and many others to say shipments were on the way…or promised refund several times with last communication promising delivery Sept 2023. Lies. Almost 2yrs later from original order- NOTHING. STAY AWAY.

I like the cap, durable, and love I can wash it. I think it’s sad it takes so long before processing order. Not sure if that can be fixed.

I ordered these for the holidays and just got them, it is May. They are extremely expensive for what they are. They are not big enough for my daughter who has a lot of hair.

horrible! you kept my money for almost 8 months then shipped to an address I moved from without notice. horrible beyond words.

Ordered for a CHRISTMAS and just received, had no idea the gift was never delivered. Unacceptable.

Further to my last review and your reply, I initiated the return but still have not had an email with return label, address to return it to...

I placed my original order in Sept 2023, got the order confirmation email, and tried following up in December and again in January after receiving nothing. After reaching out via email & their online bot several times with no response, I tried posting on Twitter/X to the company handle. A few hours later, I got a phone call, which I initially declined because it was marked as potential spam. After they called 3 more times back-to-back, I answered, and someone claming to be with Shhhowercap said I'd been referred by their "social media team" after posting my complaint. NO IDEA how they got my phone number. This man continues on to "check my order number", and claims that they ran out of the manufacturing materials because the RARE SEAL they were using went extinct, but they'd switched over to a a different type of WHALE SKIN, and that he could call down to the "kill floor" to check when they'd be killing the whale for my shower cap. I hung up immediately, and upon further research discovered many, many people with similar stories of unfulfilled orders. To make it worse, my 9 year old child heard this call and believed that they were killing whales and seals to make shower caps, and is still talking about how disturbing the call was.
The phone number I received the call from is the same number listed on the BBB page for the business. I've filed a report there.
I've received a shower cap in April, with no further contact from the company. The item I received is not the same item I ordered, and the quality is much lower than my original purchase with them years ago.
The whole thing is so weird, I wish I was making it up. I will never again purchase from this company and hope that other people can avoid this negative experience and purchase from more reliable and reputable businesses.

I ordered my cap in November and just received it a few weeks ago. I sent many requests via email and on your website requesting an update and never received a response from you. Finally received the cap and I want to return it. I requested a return on your website and it said you will get back to me and of course I have not heard back yet. Terrible customer service. I would like a refund.

Update: company responded and told me to go to returns under FAQ’s but when I go there it says my item has already been returned which it has not.

This took so long for it to arrive. And it’s not what I pictured it to be. It’s not a fashion for Caucasian people. The picture needs to show that it’s not a usual shower cap, but a fashion hat. I don’t want a piece of rubber taping along my hairline making it sticky.

After reaching out many, many times over the years and receiving many excuses and apologies- I only received the item after publicly expressing my disappointment on their social media page and then was asked to delete my comment. This brand turned out to be much different than what I hoped it would be. For one, STOP taking orders if you can’t fulfill them! It’s deceptive and selfish making people beg to receive what they paid for! Also, the shower cap wasn’t the same color as advertised. It was faded. So, I’m completely over it and have moved on to other brands.
