Thanks to Jodie and the team at Shelbourne Vehicle Rental. The whole rental process from the initial quote to return of our deposit was efficient and hassle free. This was our first rental with Shelbourne and based on the excellent customer service, it won’t be our last. While many of the multinational car rental companies are taking advantage of returning emigrants and charging astronomical prices, Shelbourne’s competitive rates are very admirable.
Happy to highly recommend Shelbourne Vehicle Rental.

Travelled over from England on business and had an issue with my car battery. Had lots of meetings planned and was thinking it would be a wasted journey...but Shelbourne Motors came to the rescue!

Just purchased a vehicle from Lee in Toyota Shelbourne. He is definitely the best ever car salesman. Want to thank him, George and Michael from the Newry site for making our experience so easy. Would recommend Shelbourne to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle for pricing and staff.

Do not use their rental service. I reserved a car a month before I needed it, got a formal price quote for the 17 days I needed it. I accepted the quote and was told that closer to the time I was flying into Dublin, they would contact me with the make and model of the car and collect a deposit.
Several days before not one contacted me so I emailed their agent. No response. 1 day out, I contacted customer service and finally got a response that they had run out of cars. They never contacted me about this.
I had to scramble and make other arrangements at the last minute. Stay away from these people if you want to be sure of a secure rental!

I rented twice from Shelbourne Motors in Newry during May 2022. Both rental and return experiences were outstanding. From the moment of entering your facility to departing, I was greeted and serviced by a very professional team. I dealt directly with Diana on both rentals. Her demeanor and attitude while dealing with customers was excellent. Thank you Diana for the hospitality extended to me. You are certainly an outstanding asset to Shelbourne Motors. This is the second time I have bought from Shelbourne Motors. I arrived to look at a car which I had seen online and then decided against it. The salesperson David McCracken took the details of the type of car I wanted and the features and said he would keep an eye out for me. 3 days later I got a call to call in and have a look at a car which had arrived in. I was blown away - it was everything I wanted! David spent time getting to know my likes and dislikes and because of that bagged himself a sale! I got a great car! The sales manager Darren even threw in a bit of banter! A great team and I would highly recommend Shelbourne Motors to anyone.

Everyone deserves a second chance. Five years later this companies after sales team have not changed. I am totally disgusted. After seeing first hand at how they treated my father in a purchase of a used vehicle I would encourage you to think twice. 5 years ago I had the same treatment with a faulty new car. False promises, misleading information, no follow up, false promise to replace, checks confirmed but not undertaken. The worst thing was that they were visibly causing direction away from the 14 day return no quibble conversation. As said it is just disgusting. They pass the blame from one person or department to the next. They say one thing and someone else will over rule or deny that. With this branch, anything you have said or done additionally, please get it in writing. I am to renew for my new car on 6 May 22. They have what I want and a great sales team but my custom is going elsewhere because after payment, they don't care. Truly.

Dreadful after sales service and questionable level of skills of their mechanics. Was met with a 'couldn't care less' attitude on every occasion post purchase. Paid for parking sensors which we were fitted incorrectly and after two very inconvenient visits to their services department, issue still not fixed. Failed to deliver courtesy car on time for a planned 3rd visit to services so had to cancel. Have emailed Paul Ward MD for a refund - awaiting a response.

Collected my new to me Nissan Qashqai on 17th March, 2021. Noel provided a very friendly and professional service from start to finish both in house and by email and phone which made the whole process from test drive on Tuesday to collection on Thursday effortless. I had a new Radar fitted in my Sandero.
The service reception guy, Thomas, was excellent, kept me up to date.
The job was completed & so far, no problems.
Always a good service, at Shelbourne, & they wash the car too, which is a nice bonus.

Yesterday purchased my new car , received a very fair price for my trade in , but most remarkably met with Glenn who dealt with us in the most professional yet friendly manner listened to what we wanted , gave advice showed us options and all without the dreaded sales pressure my wife and I were both really surprised how painless the whole process was in comparison to some experiences in the past , Glen knew his product could answer questions and had an assured manner which made us comfortable with him and the process so thank you . My father in the past had purchased at Shelbourne and then used their Motability scheme and always said they were good to deal with , and I can now confirm this , I am very happy with my new wheels and equally would recommend anyone give them a go , ask for Glenn I suspect you will drive away happy . I would go back in the future without hesitation .

I accompanied a friend to Shelbourne Motors, in Newry, on Wednesday 2nd February, for a car service and to select a new Motability car. Every member of staff we met, were friendly and really helpful. For most of the time we were there, we were looked after by Larry Davidson who gave us VIP treatment. Larry made us feel totally at ease, with his warm and friendly personality and made our time with Shelbourne Motors a very positive experience. A top class company with exceptional employees. Had a wonderful experience purchasing my new (to me) car from Ross at Shelbourne Autoselect Newry. Very easy sale. Ross was very helpful and listened to what I needed. He advised on what vehicle would meet my needs and ensured I selected the products that were the best.
