I called before travelling to arrange a viewing and was told yes, I could come and see the car. I then drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there.
When I arrived, another person was already there viewing the car, and the seller sold the car to them while I was there.
At no point did anyone call me to say someone else was viewing the car or that there was a chance it would be sold before I arrived. If they had told me, I would not have wasted 3 hours travelling there and back, plus fuel.
I understand cars are sold on a first come, first served basis, but when someone has called, arranged a viewing and is travelling such a long distance, basic communication and respect would have been appreciated.
I would not recommend this seller based on my experience, and if could I would give less then 1 in this review.

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience, and we do apologise for the inconvenience caused by your journey.
We would, however, like to clarify the circumstances. During the telephone conversation, the only question asked was whether we were open on the Bank Holiday. At no point during that call were we advised that you were travelling from 1 hour and 30 minutes away, nor was a specific viewing appointment arranged or a deposit left to secure the vehicle.
Unfortunately, another customer arrived around five minutes before you and was already interested in viewing the car. As with any used vehicle, without a deposit or confirmed appointment, the vehicle remained available for sale and was subsequently sold.
We completely appreciate that travelling such a distance only to find the vehicle had been sold was frustrating, and we are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience this caused. Had we known the distance you were travelling, we would certainly have done our best to make you aware of the situation.
We would be more than happy to help you find a similar vehicle and, if you would like, we can keep an eye out and source something that matches what you were looking for.
We wish you all the best with your search and hope we may have the opportunity to help you in the future.

Over all a really good experience, Jason was very helpful, had one minor teething issue which Jason sorted out straight away for me, I am really happy with the car and thank you for everything

I would highly recommend Serenity cars
I would highly recommend Serenity cars. There is lots of choice and prices are fair. The salesman (Jason) made me feel very welcome and has very good knowledge of the vehicles. There was no pressure put on me to make a purchase and there was a relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely use this dealership again in the future.

Can't fault them, great company
I recently purchased a car from Serenity Cars and their service from the start was amazing. Non pushy sales staff and very friendly. We did, however, come across an issue with the car after a couple of weeks, something that they would not have been aware of at the time of sale, but they were keen to get it fixed at no cost or inconvenience to us at all. I've recommended them to family and friends and will continue to do so.

Amazing Service
Called into Serenity not knowing really what I was looking for but new I wanted a newer car. The team were amazing with me, they took the time to speak with me around what my requirements and needs for a car were showing me various models in the process. Sorry I'm a bit late writing this. I needed a car quickly and only had limited funds, Jason had a few cheap cars for me and I found one I liked and in budget, He pointed out it was a cheap trade car but still agreed to health check and mot the car. Honestly, they were all fab and I'd highly recommend them whatever your budget.

Got sold a car with hidden faults
I saw the car I wanted online; went in to view it; test drove it, fell in love with it. Decided to purchase it, when I’d had it a week or so I noticed it had issues such as one of the wing mirrors motors weren’t working; meaning the wing mirror remained inwards unless pushed out manually, secondly the reverse camera on the car wasn’t working, alongside an over sensitive parking sensor, I contacted serenity who were very helpful and booked me into a specialist who would take a look at the problem, the specialist were unable to fix the problem as they don’t have the device to recalibrate the parking sensor and they also can’t fix the reverse camera.
The car remains with the same faults that I need to pay for.
I was advised by serenity that I bought the car “as seen” on a “trade sale” so therefore there was nothing they could do, even though it is a safety issue as I cant get a full view of the road and I was NOT made aware of the issues before buying it as seen.
Be very careful with this company and be sure to check for any faults as the staff weren’t aware of the faults I don’t have much confidence in using their service again.
Having knew this, I would have bought a different car from a different company.
I will not be using this company again and will advise friends and family to not use this company. Very good at stamping out consumer rights and working there way around the blame.
I do have to say Jason from serenity was very sympathetic and apologised that they couldn’t do anything as it was out of his hands.

Great garage - no fuss
Saw the car we wanted, had a test drive straight away and decided to buy it. There was no hard sell and we weren’t there all day like you usually are in car sale rooms. The staff were lovely and really helpful and it was actually easy for once to buy a car without them having to go and speak to the Manager to get a better price and all that rubbish that you usually get from car salesmen. Would definitely recommend this company we are really happy with the car.

Couldn't speak highly enough of the guys from Serenity Cars. Brilliant service. Made to feel really comfortable from the off. No pressure and they put you at ease from the second you walk in. All cars are great quality and excellent price. They couldn't be any more helpful. I'd strongly advise anybody to use them and couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you very much again. I'm already in love with my Audi A5!
