Be very careful!!! Underhand tactics in play
The download for the manual may be inexpensive but then you are auto-enrolled into a £24.90 subscription service -which you probably don't want.
Please read each email you get from them- then email them back to say you don't want the subscription service.
Check your credit card transactions within a couple days- you will not be able to raise a payments disputes unless you have an email trail stating that you didn't sign up for the service.

They claim to have manuals available that they don't have. You wont find this out until you have paid money. Avoid.

I downloaded instructions for a well known vacuum. Was a bit surprised it was costing. Even such a small amount. So checking my bank account today was a shock. I haven't agreed to subscription. A pending amount for £24 ,90.I phoned my bank immediately who advised I cancel my debit card which I have and the bank have ordered me a replacement. At least the scammers haven't my details to take more. The bank will get me a refund if it's taken. What a pain though. To be honest it's upset and unerved me. Thank goodness I check bank account every day now.
Please don't be taken in by them

user manual. I was advised that Second Manual could assist, so signed up However, I then received an email requesting additional information, which I provided. All the while the 72 hour cancellation period was tickjng away - a deliberate ploy i suspect. Second Manual sent me a technical spec document, which told me all about the devices features, but NOT how to use it - I was already aware of this document through basic open source research on the internet. I complained to Second Manual, but only got a template response on1st Dec. Keep well away from this company.

This is a scam! Do not use under any circumstance. I only left one star, as you have to put a star rating to leave a review - which is a scam in itself. The website is utterly misleading. Typed in the make and model of the device I need a manual for, it confirms that this is available. Sign up and pay, only to find that they do not have the manual at all. They refuse to refund the £1.49. Disgusting. Ensure that you cancel the monthly subscription. What a rip-off!

Ordered a manual on the 12th of November which didn’t download, contacted them to complain and it was delivered next day the 13th of November so cancelled the subscription on the 15th of November 72 hours after order delivered but was still charged £24.90. Don’t touch with a barge pole. When I complained all I got was a standard reply stating terms and conditions.

All I wanted was a manual in English for a TV bought in France. They couldn't supply the manual, but they still charged for it, stating that it was an administration fee for a subscription! Why would I need a subscription? But they still charged the first month of £24.90 that I got refunded once my credit card company got involved. Do not touch the company. They obtain money fraudulently.

I have contacted my Credit Card company and obtained a refund and had a stop put on any future payments !
I advise anyone scammed by these b******s to contact their card company immediately as they appear to be aware of them. One can only ask why the CC companies have not already blocked them??

Without a star I cannot write this review. There are no stars for this company at all. Don't, whatever you do try to find a manual with this company. They think people are stupid and unfortunately I was and fell into their disgusting web of deceit . They said they had a manual for my sewing machine which I had lost and that I needed to pay £1.49 for it. Okay, seemed reasonable. Once paid and trying to find it on their website, it was not there. After I contacted them, the same day, I asked for a refund. They ignored me for three days and then sent an email asking for more details so that they could find the manual. I sent more details and waited. They then took out £24.50 from my account as a subscription charge a few days later. I wrote and complained and they did not respond until today; two weeks later telling me that I had subscribed to their services. Why on earth would I sign up to a £24.90 subscription for a measly 2 page manual? I spoke to my bank the day they took out the money and the bank refunded me the cost. But the email I received from the company today said that they cannot refund the money; even though they did not even furnish me with the goods I paid for. So in effect they stole over £25 without providing goods or providing a service. DON'T send money to this company...EVER!! They are not scammers, they are just blatant THIEVES!!

I implore anybody to avoid this bunch of criminals or at least be very, very aware of what they do.
Basically they offer a whole host of user manuals online at a very reasonable price, in my case a car manual which was £1.49. I guess in hindsight the alarm bells should have been ringing very loudly.
What they do is CON you into a subscription model of £24.90 a month, but I cannot recall any such agreement.
What they clearly do is include this in very small print in the terms and conditions and let's be honest, very few of us actually read terms and conditions, choosing instead to have some trust and get on with our lives.
Why on earth anybody would knowlingly sign up to £25 a month or £300 a year is ridiculous - that's a hell of a lot of manuals.
I was debited twice before actually realising the second time, so sent an email of complaint which was about two weeks ago. I have just had a reply stating the proposition of the subscription was clearly shown in the 'user journey' which, as you will note from other reviews, is utter rubbish.
They have refused to reimburse me so the net result is I have paid £51.29 for a car manual which would probably have cost me a tenner at a main dealer.
These people are CON ARTISTS and should be locked up.

A scam. They pretend to have a manual for your product, take your money, sign you up for a subscription then can’t find the manual. They refuse a refund quoting the small print.
DO NOT USE!!!!

I bought a manual for my hi-fi on 3rd September 2024 for £1.49. On 6th September and each month recurring they then debited £24.90! Despite mention of a 72 hour trial offer by other reviewers there was no such offer visible when I made this apparently routine one off purchase. Otherwise I would obviously not have made the purchase. They have no relevant ongoing service to offer. I have blocked them on my account for the future and have contacted the vendor asking for a refund. No reply as yet. Even more worrying is why my bank Lloyds have allowed these unauthorised payments! I am taking this up with them separately and advise others to do the same.

Firstly, I did not receive the manual I asked for and then you proceded to take unauthorised payments as though it was an on going contract. No where was it indicated that it would happen. Basically, it was a scam.

Complete and utter scam company. They charged me £1.49 for an instruction manual they didn't have in the first place. They never informed me that they didn't have it and 3 days later charged me another £24.90. I received nothing for my money and had to phone them to cancel A MONTHLY SUBSRIPTION.!!!! They wont give me any money back and instead said "read the smallprint.!!! I'm a 67 year old pensioner and can't afford to be conned like this.

I went online looking for a manual and was advised I would only be charged £1.49, the same as everyone else. They did not provide me a manual and now have stolen £24.90 from my account, which I will be claiming back through my credit card company. DO NOT TRUST THIS DISHONEST COMPANY THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

I concur with others who have been put in this position. The 'Customer Care' interface was appalling; the operative was rude, cutting in and trying to tell me that I am not eligible for a refund... funny how they recanted as soon as I talked about the fraud squad and a personal court appearance.
