great app but shame it doesnt show availability on each flight of that day but otherwise great

The website is literally shouting at you with the "Sign Up For Free Availability Notifications" text shaking in the browser. And then there's no free notifications. Only search. So it's a lie, scam, or whatever you want to call it to signup. If alerts are not free that's fine. A business needs to earn money. But shouting at users "Sign up and you get this for free" and then there's nothing is simply bad.

To just add to my earlier review and having read a review a couple down from mine, I see that SeatSpy doesn't notify you of availability until the seats have been online for three days - as the earlier reviewer stated, this is useless - I subscribed to this website so that i was notified IMMEDIATELY a flight came online which isn't happening. Also the SeatSpy system shows that there are First Class seats available from LHR to JFK on 21 October - went onto BA website and there aren't.... not sure I will continue my membership.

Really good design, but let down by spotty support and recent problems, some created by BA. For some unknown reason which SeatSpy won't address, they've stopped showing award seats for 352-355 days before flights. If you want to nab a seat as soon as it becomes available, you can't because their system will only display (and notify you) 3 days after it's ACTUALLY available. This defeats a major reason for the site's existence. For two months I've been writing to them about it, without an adequate response.

I've been using this site for a while and signed up to the premium service a few months back. It makes life so easy when searching for reward flights. I have to travel in the school holidays so securing Upper Class or Premium seats for those dates means I have to jump on the release and be aware of the release patterns - Seatspy.com makes it so very easy to see and do this.

Recently I had an issue with my login whereby it wasn't returning the expected results. I contacted Paul, the website founder, and he spent a long time going through various scenarios and screenshots until we could get to the bottom of what was happening. It was solved the same day, Paul ever so kindly offered me one month for free and using the website I've just secured the coveted Upper Class and Premium seats for the school holidays next year. It's a fantastic tool. Highly recommended!

Paid for first class subscription. It doesn’t work. BA rewards come out 355 days before departure on the BA website (so currently August 4th showing available reward flights). Latest availability showing on seatspy is July 12th. So seatspy is a full month behind meaning by the time it catches up all seats will be long gone. Wast of time, money and effort. Left messages on support service and no one got back to me so no back-up service either. Fail.

A much better way to look for your reward seats with your 2-4-1 vouchers on the BA website. They will keep an eye out for you and let you know when your dates are available.

Awesome way to bag reward seats without the stress of checking frequently. SeatSpy saves me so much time – and with instant updates on newly available seats, I’m so much more likely to get the flights I want.

Such a welcome addition for all avid travellers trying to user their airmiles on the best possible option - the alerts are life savers. And the "take me anywhere" option a great addition when you just want to discover options! please stay around for long, guys...

Great site for specific information on reward flights, ie what is available at the certain times, but most importantly the non peak times which makes your reward points stretch further. The one drawback is the site is a bit clunky

Incredible service. Took the most challenging aspect of award travel and sorted it right out. Being able to view outbound and inbound space at the same time has cut my search time in half.

Saves a good bit of time over searching every airline/program.

Very easy to set up and use, and realistically priced. We are still not travelling by air so haven't made any bookings, but the information has been very useful and will I'm sure be invaluable in the future.

A comprehensive and incredibly useful tool with a great deal of functionality and features. Anyone who collects points and miles should take a serious look at this website. I can see a lot of potential use for this site in the future as my pots of miles continue to grow!

It really works!! I travel a lot for work so it can be hard to use up all the Avios. But with seatspy you can easily find available seats for lastminute trips.

A great way to find and be notified when award availability opens up. Invaluable !
