Subscription provides good quality wines, a lot more interesting than found in many supermarkets, and often from less well known regions or producers which can match the quality of far more expensive alternatives. Service is good - one corked bottle was immediately replaced.

I was introduced to Savage Vines via a yearly subscription present from a family member and have just renewed it personally. During this period I was impressed by their trading ethos and I am now producing a list of wines which I prefer, which makes ordering much more simpler and extremely cost effective. Gone are the days when I visit a supermarket, pub, or restaurant and get ripped of by exorbitant prices for a decent bottle of wine. As a convert I can only advise that you give the company a chance to prove my own experiences with them and down the line you will reap rewards through their knowledge, and through your pocket.

Bought a 3 month subscription for my brother as a birthday gift. The wines shipped, arrived and were excellent.
The problems started when my CC got billed for a 4th month and I found that the 3-month subscription automatically renewed. I reached out to SV and they cancelled the order and promised to refund the amount when the bottles were returned, which they were, but it was several weeks later and needed a further request for refund before the refund actually occurred.
TBH I can't get justify how someone can automatically renew a 3-month subscription in good faith: you get billed for what ships every month, so if I wanted wines on a monthly basis, why on earth would I choose a 3-month option? It really feels like this is a scam setup to rip people off their money, and where most people will be too nice or polite to complain. I would look at other services that are more transparent.

Had a query about a bottle, and their customer service was prompt and helpful. Really made me want to use them again in future.

Savage Vines have not only got an amazing selection of wines for incredible prices (I bought and £8 bottle that tasted like it was in the £15+ price range) but they have gone out of their way to provide excellent customer service when some of the bottles I ordered were no longer available and needed to be replaced with something else.

Shout out to Harry who was really helpful!

I don’t usually write reviews but the fantastic customer service I received today to address a small issue warrants mention. Very polite, helpful, and efficient. The wines are excellent but it’s how a business responds to issues that sets it apart from the rest.

Confusion over the final order in a 3 month gift, but Harry in customer service was brilliant, and an example of how customer service should work!

When I had cause to contact Savage Wines about my wine subscription I was immeasurably impressed with the fast & efficient response that I received from Harry in customer services. The speed with which my issue was resolved was first class. Oh, & the wine is very good as well!

I ordered some sherry and Tio Pepe glasses, when the wrong glasses arrived I contacted Savage and the fault was rectified immediately by Harry who could not have been more helpful

I would have clicked Zero stars but alas that is not an option.

Their wines are good but their customer service stinks. I've been waiting for three months for wine and I keep on being told it will arrive next week.

They've told me they have delivery problems, but if that is the case why don't they just confess and stop taking my money until it is resolved. Instead, they kept taking my subscription money, month after month after month. They even told me that they'd paused my membership, but they hadn't.

I'm now waiting to get my money back - I just hope they have better success sending that.

Their are many really good wine clubs out there, but this isn't one of them. Avoid!

Had some trouble with my order but the customer service got right back to me on a Sunday are were super polite and prompt. Would recommend.

We got a subscription to Savage Vines as a christmas present and have been really loving them. We love trying new wines but often don't know where to start so getting such an eclectic well chosen mix from them each month has been fab. It was the perfect gift for us!

What a great company, with great wine and great Customer Service! The wine has been delicious and the Wine Tasting Notes are very helpful. I received a voucher from my husband and ordered 1 months delivery. The wine was yummy, also enjoyed by my husband and daughter. The delivery date and between certain times was emailed, DPD were very prompt with this. Harry was very helpful with a couple of questions I also asked. Thanks for all your help Harry.

I ordered 6 months of a delivery of 2 bottles to a friend who was working. This meant that delivery was tricky as she was never in! Harry from Savage Wines could not have been more helpful in sorting out a solution - many thanks.

We bought a case of wine at Christmas and have just finished them all. All of the wine we really enjoyed and will definitely purchase again. Delivery came tracked with DPD and arrived within 2 days of purchase.

We've now had delivery since October of monthly wines chosen expertly by Savage Vines. We recently tried a red and felt it didn't taste right. I contacted Harry yesterday and he couldn't have been more helpful. He suggested an alternative and I'm expecting it tomorrow. Fantastic service and can't recommend Savage Vines enough.
