I bought my dad a wine subscription for his 70th Birthday and he LOVED it. Delivered to where he wants it, comes with information about each wine, lovely selections. He's so thrilled in fact that I've done the same again this year to keep it going for him.

I contacted the Team today to renew it and Harry who answered the phone was amazing and sorted everything out for me.

I was given a gift subscription and activated but did not hear anything. Two further prompts and nothing. Too busy to be prompting and almost gave up:forgot but gifter kept asking how the wine was.
When I remembered I sent an eMail asking them to refund the amount to the gifter as it was now months since activation. Sometime later received a email saying wine was to be sent following day. Emailed immediately to say no thanks. Immediate reply to say too late. Wine was ordinary but that’s personal opinion.
Be careful gifting subscriptions as I think my gifter felt a little embarrassed that this was such a no show.

Addendum 17/02/2022: Following this reply below I have not received any contact from Savage wines as stated. I have checked spam etc. Not a great reassurance of reliability.

Absolutely stellar wines delivered each month without so much as a scratch, amazing customer service, and all at a brilliant price. Highly recommend!

A gift card was not received but Harry took care of it quickly. Other orders were excellent. The customer services is superb ! Thanks Harry and all for the excellent service Happy New Year !

I recommend Savage Vines to anyone who loves wine! Their wine is excellent and probably the best customer service I have experienced. Savage Vines are much better than the large wine clubs, I am a complete convert.

I was gifted a 6 month wine subscription and it has been amazing! Each wine has been unique and not like any I’ve tried before.
Customer service is also excellent, I couldn’t recommend more!

I was super impressed with the way my order was handled. Warm, helpful and super efficient!

Purchased an ullo wine filter and carafe as a gift. Item arrived promptly, but display box was dirty and unsealed. The carafe inside the packaging was filthy - caked in dust. This must have been a display item and was not fit to be sold as new. Very disappointed.

For the 3rd year I’m renewing wine gift subscription as a Christmas present for my parents. They really enjoy the variety and quality of the different wines they receive.

We always buy a gift wine subscription for my wine enthusiast parents-in-law for Christmas. They seem to really like the selections and rate it highly.

Really good selection of wines and very fair prices given the quality. Would recommend

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I bought a 3 month subscription as a gift for a friend. When I purchased it the order clearly said 3 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION. After the 3 months were up they charged me for a 4th month. When I asked why they did not end the order after 3 months I was told I had to go in and cancel the subscription or they would keep charging me every month. This fact is not clearly stated when you make the purchase, it is hidden on another tab of their website.So are you supposed to read every page and tab of their website looking for their policies when you buy OR would it be good business practice to put this fact CLEARLY on the page where you actually choose the product ? The owner Harry Lambourne is obviously hoping you don't cotton on to this fact and he gets a couple of more months of revenue out of you. What an unethical and shady practice. Also my friend said the wines were just mediocre so take my advice and choose a more reputable company to send gifts.Harry should spend more time making his website user friendly rather than finding ways to rip people off. Also the time he spends writing snarky responses to his bad reviews could be used to probably read a book on business ethics. Poor Harry a sad 1 man show.

Kyle went above and beyond to ensure the box of wine would arrive in time for my friend's birthday. I will be using Savage Vines for all gifts in the future.

My wife bought me an annual subscription as a gift which was unfortunately unwanted. Savage wines refused to offer a refund in advance of the subscription being activated. I find this extremely disappointing and no way to treat your customers. Beware before buying anything from here, very unsatisfactory experience.

I would firstly like to emphasise that the wine I received through the subscription service is first rate. Really excellent, interesting and unusual choices. Unfortunately, the service is dire. Missing orders, missing bottles, very difficult to talk to someone, unanswered emails etc etc. I was prepared to persevere, until they suddenly decided, after several months, that it would henceforth cost £25 to ship two bottles of wine to Northern Ireland. Seemed fairly excessive to me, so unfortunately I had to jump ship.
