I’ve had great experiences with Sala Muzik despite not living in California or Türkiye. Their packages are always shipped quick, securely packaged, and the instruments are as described and more. Also prices are reasonable, and they stock instruments and brands not easily found domestically.

I had been searching for specific handpan model. Their website had the brand in stock but not the model I was looking for. I inquired via chat to see if they ever stocked them. They responded promptly and called, confirming they did have the handpan I was looking for in stock at their California location. Once verified, they shipped it out the same day.

I received the handpan yesterday. The notes are perfectly tuned and the color is very unique.

Last thing-I often have lots of questions, and Sala Muzik’s customer service is excellent. They respond quickly and are very accommodating.

Ik had een Ney besteld bij Salamusic en betaald maar hoorde niets meer. Na veel gebel en mail, een instrument ontvangen. Er zat een barst in. Weer diversen mails gestuurd maar nooit antwoord gekregen. Erg slechte zaak

The oud I bought arrived quickly, but it was broken. I requested a replacement, but the seller didn't reply for 2 weeks. I opened a PayPal case and eventually the seller agreed to a refund if I post it back - this would cost me £80 for international shipping. They refused to pay the postage for a damaged instrument, which I consider unfair. Paypal doesn't include postage in its guarantee either, so I am left with a broken instrument and a bad feeling. I wish I could trust businesses in Turkey, but this experience is very off-putting.

I order a tombak wich is not that bad but not what I wanted. I asked for the return policy, they asked me the command number which I gave and I had nothing more. I sent 10 messages and had no response. Through their site, email, WhatsApp, ... I believe the return policy is a scam, as they don't answer I will not send it back. That's a shame.

I bought an oud from Sala Music in August 24 and since arrival, I am having an issue with it. The neck area is weirdly shaped and some strings are top of each other. Tuning is also a nightmare, it never stays tuned. I spend 15 min every day. Since the day one I asked them to refund or change it rather than taking a responsibility with this faulty instrument, I’d been asked to pay the the currier and it was a ridiculous amount of money, so there were no point.
Top of all that the body has started to peel and seems like it will be completely broken soon. No one response from the company whatsoever. The quality of the instruments they sell is just awful. Never ever buy from them again.

I ordered a Duduk and waited for a response of delivery . It turned out, that i made a mistake ordering it and after having a chat with Veysel, the Duduk came in only two days. The instrument is of premium quality and is absolutely youful to play. I can highly recommend this shop and Veysel as a contact. Won’t be the last instrument i will buy here. I got my oud from Sala Muzik 1 week ago. Amazing quality. They shipped from Hollywood, so I did not pay any customs taxes. Thank you so much, Sala.

Very poor customer service. The staff were not welcoming and made no effort to assist in choosing an instrument. As an international client, I felt disrespected and unappreciated. I cannot recommend this store based on my experience.

I had 2 bad experiences with this company,The first one it took them 2 weeks to tell me the Saz i ordered was out of stock, The 2nd one i ordered strings and paid extra $10 for express shipping 5 days went by did not get my item nor got tracking number for my item i had to dispute the charges, stay away there are better companies out there

Outstanding service. I ordered an oud and it arrived in perfect condition (Turkey to Ireland) within 2 days from placing the order. I made a special request for strap anchors to be installed on the instrument , which was accommodated with no delay to the delivery. The quality of build is superb and especially for the price it exceeded my best expectations. 10/10 would recommend Sala Musik.

DO NOT ORDER unless you want to pay x2 in customs and fees! Website saying 'taxes included'is lying!
I ordered 25€ strings to be shopped to EU, they came fast with Fedex, which was a good surprise. 3 months later I received a postal letter from Fedex saying that my payment is 3 months overdue and that I have to pay 28€! for the customs and fees!
I was not notified neither by Fedex (probably because Sala doesn't care to put your contact in) and was definitely not notified by Sala that there are additional charges!
Now thanks to them i'm left with a 50 euro bill for a 25 euro strings🤦🏻‍♂️ If I was at least notified about the fee - I would have just declined the package!

If it's not fixed I will keep on informing everyone through every channel where Sala is and will also file a complaint against them to not let it happen again.

Customer service interactions have been prompt, informative, and pleasant.
Shipping to the U.S. has always been remarkably fast, with items received safe, sound and packed with care.
I highly recommend working with Sala Musik, especially to those like myself without easy in-person access to the types of instruments they specialize in.

I've ordered a black bendir drum, it arrived without the design it was supposed to have (based on the pictures).
I've also chosen to get the express delivery which according to their website is DHL... and they sent it through FEDEX, which asked me to provide them an importer's declaration with a detailed description of the product. I tried to contact Sala Muzik, but they were not anwsering on whatsapp or with their info-email besides a "what is your order number?" question which I anwsered and they never came back.

I bought the Sala Muzik CP-5 Fretless Classical Guitar and I love it. The instrument is made from quality materials, the craftsmanship is impressive and the tone is very unique.
I had an issue with the order, but Sala Muzik's customer service is stellar. They communicated with me consistently until the issue was fully resolved.
As a collector of ethnic instruments, I highly recommend Sala Muzik. I will not hesitate to order from them again. Thank you!

I ordered the “Tar By Afshari ET-202” I accidentally put the wrong address and selected the wrong shipping option so I sent an email. I got a response less than 24 hrs later with confirmation of the changes that I need them to make to my order. So easy and smooth. My Tar arrived early and is in perfect condition. It’s even in tune which really surprised me. Makes me think someone did a real quality check before packing. I’m impressed and if I need anything in the future that they carry Sala Musik will be my first choice no questions asked.

I have an oud that is unusually small and I needed to order a bag or case for it, they answered all my questions very quickly and steered me to the right bag that would fit my instrument. It arrived very quickly and in great shape! Very helpful and I would order from them again.
