Excellent Service. I was wandering, how long will it take to resolve my queries. But to my surprised Member Consultant Kendra was pretty sharp and very Professional. She listened, checked and answered and resolved my queries, in no time at all. I was happy and the service was excellent and professional.

Friendly and efficient service
I have had excellent service in branch and on the telephone. Recently I needed to call a few times and the customer services has always been friendly and efficient. Kendra said she would keep a check on my problem and call me back in a few days. She rang today to check I knew all was now sorted. Excellent service.

I had been locked out of my account
I had been locked out of my account , I was on the chat with on line for ages trying different things to no avail . I then made a phone call and spoke to the wonderful kendra , so nice , helpful, calm, reassuring, confident , kendra put me at ease , and assured me the problem would be sorted and it was , thank you sooooo very much kendra you were amazing xxx

Their excellent customer support adds to their strong financial offerings
As ever, contacting Saffron Building Society was smoother & quicker than with most financial institutions, and their staff member (Kendra) was both professional and human. I’ve used SBS for about a decade, both for a small company I owned and also personal finance. Their rates are very good, their staff are well trained, patient, and friendly. They also reward loyalty. Unlike most other financial organisations where they slowly drop your savings rates or have the best deals only for new customers, SBS have the best deals for existing customers. I’m getting old, dealing with SBS is a refreshing return to a local building society that looks to do the best for their members and does not treat you like customer 17113589.

I would like to review the actions of Cassie Jones, Member Representative at Bishop Stortford Branch
Following the death of my father, and as executor to his estate, I needed to inform various financial institutions of his passing to protect his assets and obtain the necessary information for probate.
I subsequently contacted Saffron Building Society by telephone for assistance in completing the bereavement notification.
I spoke with Ms Cassie Jones who had a communication style that was both empathetic and professional. Ms Jones took personal responsibility for my enquiry and volunteered to become my point of contact for future enquiries. Ms Jones demonstrated equality and diversity, understanding the diverse needs of others less competent in Information and Technology and provided guidance throughout the process.
On a later date, I attended the branch to provide supporting documents, Ms Jones was present and ever efficient, recording the documents according to company policy, ensuring the safe handling of information and protecting the assets and interests of all parties.
Ms Jones' efforts and motivation delivered a high quality of service that I sincerely appreciated and upheld the reputation of Saffron Building Society – Well Done.

I could not pick up my maturing account…
I could not pick up my maturing account online so I rang in and quickly I was through to Max Rendell. He listened to my problem silently, then at the end noted it all and took me through the correct process taking due account of my age, hearing frailty and guided me along with the technology. For the half an hour it took me his approach was exceptional!
