Complete scam of a company! I have been fighting with PayPal for a month now and can't get a refund unless I return the thing to China!

Has anyone else had any luck getting their money back?

Purchased a rug it arrived in a small plastic bag and is so creased l doubt it will ever be flat the quality is terrible nothing like the photo on webbsight. Emailed them and was told it would not be refunded as it was a sale item and it would be to expensive for me to send back to China better to keep it or sell it No one would want this rug !! .DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY l wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing .Have complained to PayPal not had a reply as yet. Will try credit card company if don't get anything from PayPal.

I would score zero if I could. I bought a large plush rug which I received within 3 weeks (not bad), however I was shocked to discover how flimsy it is. It was wrapped in a tiny plastic bag which was wrapped tight with tape and the rug has an awful distinctive smell (like paint). I have just been told by the company that they will not allow a return and will not refund the cost and Luna from the company helpfully suggested that 'a better option would be to keep it or sell it'; I don't think I could even give it away!! I wish I saw this review site sooner because as everyone has said, they are obviously a scam company who must be making an absolute mint for selling this rubbish.

Definitely a scam company, so annoyed with myself that I didn’t check here before ordering. I have raised a dispute with PayPal and have been offered £10 refund on an £80 ‘rug’. The product is shocking, and the pictures are the same as ones used on eBay for sellers from China.

Like everyone else shame I did not read all these reviews first. Sent numerous E mails about shipping. What a fool I am looks like I will be waiting for weeks then. Seriously PayPal needs to step in a stop them from collecting our money.... And no doubt mine also will be a pile of rubbish, especially now I know they are not from the UK...

BUYER BEWARE!! NOT A UK COMPANY AS WEBSITE SUGGESTS. POOR QUALITY RUGS AND NOTHING LIKE PHOTOS. RETURNS ARE TO CHINA AT A HUGE COST TO BUYER SO NOT WORTH RETURNING. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. PAYPAL NOT INTERESTED IN PROTECTING BUYER. I AM OUT OF POCKET BY 187.98 AND THE RUGS ARE AWFUL.
NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE REVIEWED BY THEIR TEAM AND NOT ADDED TO THEIR WEBSITE, ONLY GOOD ONES MAKE THE CUT.

My rug arrived late and folded into a small yellow binbag. It is described as 'pretty' and 'green' and it is ugly and white with pieces of blue. I ordered a large rug at £139 with pile. I expected it to have fibres the colour of the pattern, but it is a plush white rug with the pattern printed onto the top of the pile only, and I mean the very top, so the rug is predominantly white. Also where it should be green, it is light blue, and where it should be black is navy. There are some mustard colours on it too and I don't know what these were supposed to be.
Emails say the same as all others here, it's too expensive for me to send back so just give it away... You couldn't give this to someone gifted with sight, it's ghastly. Also said 'sale items cannot be returned' and again, like others say, there is no item that has not been reduced. UK consumer rights say items can be returned even if on sale if they do not match description. However, although the rights are on our side, little will be done to enforce this. I did not pay by credit card or PayPal so wonder how I can get my money back. I'm even prepared to get just some of it back, but significantly more than the £5 others have been offered. £139 is a lot of money for something so terribly gross that nobody could possibly ever want. I shan't keep it no matter what, and now I'm also upset about the waste produced from it going to landfill.

SHOULD NOT BE TRADING. NOT A UK COMPANY. I bought a rug which came 5 weeks later wrapped in qhat can only be described as a bin bag with copius amounts of parcel tape. The rug was 200 cm by 230 cm folded into a parcel which was approx 70 cm and 30 cm deep. The rug wasnt a rug but more like a bathroom mat. When laying rug out it was damaged. I emailed company, Luna replied with the creases will come out. I emailed pictures they offered me £10 disgraceful. After numerious emails and a debate with paypal they offered to refund full amount but i had to pay return to China which would cost £77 half price of the rug. I am now contacting trading standards. This company should not be trading. I hope you have read the reviews before you fall victim. They are not a UK company have NO returns policy on terms and conditions and after a while they stop replying to emails

I paid £140 the thing I recieved doesn't resemble a rug! Rubber backed wouldn't pay £10 for this!!! I have been robbed and cant get my money back!!!! DISGRACE OF A COMPANY. DO MOT BUY FROM HERE!!

Only gave 1 as could not give zero. All I can say is this site is disgusting I ordered a rug then realised on the same day as ordering I got the wrong size so I emailed to cancel my order they tried to give me a offer for the bigger rug but I said no I would just like a refund this was the next day since then I’ve had no reply after sending 8 emails to them then 3 days later I got a email saying my order has been shipped so basically they have just ignored my emails.

DO NOT PURCHASE. Not registered under any UK financial authority and can only describe them as criminals and deceptive. Ordered 6 foot by 9 foot rug for 129.99. Came as a folded up square, nothing like the picture. The material is seriously combustable and would ignite in minutes. The parcel was sent to my My Hermes from UK. I have tried to get a UK address from them to return to be told ship back to China. I was offered first a £10.00 refund, then £20.00 refund and they refuse to give me the UK address to which I can return item. This company is fradulent, they are not registered with Companies House or any legitimate Financial Authority. I have applied to EBay under my rights as Pay Pal Purchase Protection and failing to pay me back I will escalate to the Banking and Finanical Ombudsman. Thinking aobut contacting BBC Watchdog on this company.

Absolute rip off! Ordered 'silver-grey' rug. It arrived with no paperwork and was blue! Also the workmanship was poor! It had a large 'bubble' where the pile hadn't stuck to the backing. I tried emailing and got a patronising reply about different screens show different colours! It's clearly a Chinese firm going by the usual response of "screen colour" and the time of the reply matched China time! Please avoid!

I'd give it no stars, they are a total rip off! Fake reviews on there own site too, they need investigating! Took weeks to come and cant return it and apparently if I was to if they allowed me as she quoted it would cost to much to send it back to China, I'm taking it further as this should not be aloud!

Do not buy from here!!!!!! These are not rugs, but blankets. They said i can't return it as it was on sale, but thw whole website is on sale so no one ever will be able to return it. Can't believe I got trapped in this. Usually I am so careful.... :(

Absolutely true what all the reviews are saying!Total rip off! It is not a rug it's a cheap quality mat!It was sent in a package folded !Can't have a refund bc would be too expensive to send it back to China!?Why is it called rugshow.co.uk?Total shame!How can you still have a website and sell these items!?Disappointment & fraud!Do not order anything from them!

In 100% agreement with every word written on this site regarding RugShow. They have standard reply (again already mentioned in previous reviews) - too costly to return to China, so sell it and it was in the sale and so not entitled to refund. A joke firm with joke merchandise! The only way to describe the "rug" I received is what I would call a large fleecy throw and that is being kind. So, save your time and money - look elsewhere!!!!

UPDATE : Opened a dispute with PayPal and they sided with RugShow!!!!!!! Absolute joke and shock. Now opened case with credit card company - here's hoping.

Don't even want to give this fraudulent company one star but only way I could write this review. Everything the others say on here is absolutely true. The rugs are not rugs, they are MATS! Waiting over three weeks for an £86.00 rug which I thought would come in 6 - 10 days. Over three weeks it took for this crap to arrive. It is disgusting and like other reviews, was parcelled so small that it is completely creased. I too have been told I cannot send it back, nor get my money back, and to iron it! Also the con merchants say they want to give you a happy life! What a joke. Caused me sleepless night and much distress and I will not be letting this drop. Paypal are involved. Yes based in China, and communication a disgrace. I so wish I had read reviews. PLEASE PLEASE do not use these scam merchants. I shop online lots and even purchase items from China and have never received anything so disgusting. Trading standards next.

STAY CLEAR. Rug came weeks late. I could of knitted a better quality. Asked for a refund, got fobbed off. Returns policy does not apply to sale items, but the whole website is on sale. STAY CLEAR OF THIS CHINESE COMPANY
