Shoes came with a *free gift* which ultimately was all that they shipped.
Beware of this company (Rockport Canada). They are scammers. I don't know the extent to which they are scammers. It seems possible that if they have ample stock they will ship the shoes without problem, but in my case, with clearance shoes for which the size I chose was the last size shown to be available, what they did was wait a week to ship and all they shipped was the *free gift* . I'll skip the details in between, i.e. lots of suspicion on my part early on and pestering them with emails... which i think let them know I was laying a clear paper trail with photographic evidence and therefore it wasn't worth trying to "run out the clock " on the 30 day credit card dispute system, so they could keep the money. So they finally did refund the full amount.
Unbelievably bad service & shoes
Unbelievably bad customer service. The lady I dealt with Tikina should be working at something else rather than in customer service. She seemed absolutely thrilled to let me be stuck with an awful and hurting pair of Rockport dress shoes … hiding behind ‘policy and red tape’ rather than addressing the issue. I emailed first and got no response, then called and Tikina acknowledged the email when I called. But did nothing to solve the problem saying I had waited too long. I had not worn the shoes and only when I wore them I discovered they blistered my feet. I have lots of pairs of shoes and I had no need to wear them, and when I buy shoes I usually buy a coupe of pairs. I was a 30 year+ Rockport customer. I will never buy their crap shoes again after this awful experience. Also any shoe company that provides 4 options when you call … with one specifically being for DEFECTIVE shoe complaints must have a real quality problem. Please save yourself grief, .buy any other brand except Rockport, buy from Zappos (they will take returns ni questions asked and no shipping costs). If you do have a problem with Rockport shoes … they will make it your problem. They do NOT stand over their shoes. I am really disappointed to be stiffed over a $130 pair of bad shoes by what is evidently an awful company.

receive a pair of your Dunham shoes that i ordered three weeks ago and i was so happy how they felt on my feet, so lightweight and super comfortable, that i had to order another pair. Arrived today and they are even better, even though they are a different style. I am a forever customer.

Made a purchase that was never received. Customer service would not respond to a refund request after about 60 days. After filing a chargeback, they tried to dispute.
Their own tracking number indicated the item was NEVER DELIVERED.

I’ve been wearing Rockport’s for half my life the rockports that I recently bought in 2022/2023 are starting to fall apart after the 2nd month of wearing them whatever they’re doing they need to go back to basics because I might not buy another Rockport ever again. Like I said, I’ve been buying Rockport shoes since the early 2000s I’m going to give it one more chance. The quality of the shoe is going downhill big time.

I have a pair of Rockport shoes and the leather is cracking and peeling off. The Company will not consider any compensation because I am unable to provide paperwork. Many companies have the facility to do something in these instances, but not Rockport Australia.

Rockport went under a few years ago although if you look on the web you wouldn't know it. People don't remember the going out of business sales? These new boots and shoes are being made by the new owner of the name, and they are nowhere near the quality of the old Rockports. I bought a pair of boots this winter and they were disappointing. No true rubber sole like in the old days Save your money and time and look elsewhere.
Fell apart like shoes made of toilet paper and tape
I got a pair of Rockport dress shoes brand new from a physical Rockport shoe store in Michigan. The sole of one shoe split right in half. Do not buy! Cheap crap! Even the cheap dress shoes from the dollar store or other cheap dress shoes are better value for what you pay because they don’t do that! Rockport is one of these companies relying on their past reputation, theirs is from the 1970s. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, DO NOT BUY, DO NOT BUY, DO NOT BUY, buy shoes from any other company!

It seems as if a lot of people are complying about the customer service and buying bad shoes, I do not no if they have been bought out or not but this I do no; I have never had a problem in 20 to 25 years, their shoes last me 5,6,7 years with no problems like some people are saying. I just bought another pair 2 weeks ago and they arrived the next week with no problem, comfort? The best you could want, looks? Perfect, smooth perfect fit? Dead on from day 1, I’m sorry their having the problems below that I read, if any of these are true then I hope that Rockport takes care of this, people work hard for there money, I’m 72 and still working hard, Rockport please take care of these customers problems, bad reviews destroy companies!

I ordered a pair of boots, delivery was delayed, I claimed and was told that my order was delayed at french customs. Finally order appeared as delivered by french mail, never arrived. After claim for a reimbursement they offer to replace my order, claimed that product was out of stock and offered me a 30% disccount. Website is an scam

Ordered some boots. Kept being told month after month they were in transit. Then once pushed for a final delivery date, was told they were lost. I checked the consignment number with Royal Mail and they had no record of any such delivery. Straight out fraud. DON'T BY ANYTHING FROM THEM
Cheap, Uncomfortable Boots
Be warned.These are not the Rockport boots of old. Apparently, the company was "acquired" and quality and comfort went out the window. Cheap materials and narrow fit give the boots a low quality, super stiff, and blister-producing feel. Avoid.
Rockport = Bad Customer Service
I've been buying and wearing Rockport shoes for decades. Voluntarily paying extra for superior quality and fit. No more. The last two pair I've owned have LITERALLY fallen apart and all requests for replacements were ignored and/or denied. This company has gone down the tube. The lack of customer service totally shocked me. Terrible customer service and longer quality footwear.

One more once-decent brand down the drain. This is a company that is impossible to reach my phone, email, through their website or any other way. Probably if I drove to the building they would still find a way to avoid answering a customers questions. IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH! There should be a class action lawsuit for the way Rockport is torturing their customers.

I just received my TM TREK UMBWE boots and although I ordered Inkspot I received Navy Marine (funny because I don't remember that even being a color choice...certainly not one I would have made).
Now, I like Elvis Presley as much as the next guy, but I've never imagined “blue suede" shoes as part of my wardrobe.
So, here we go...I’m supposed to start some arduous return procedure. But, I don’t trust that a month from now I’ll receive the correct boots. After all, I don’t believe it was an accident I was sent the “blue boots” in the first place. I think it is Rockport’s plan to dump their hideous overstock knowing the odds are in their favor that I will just shut-up and go away.

Sure, I emailed only to receive an “automatic response”. I then replied again and received…well…crickets.
I called and, after 23 minutes listening to a tortuous repeating musical phrase, Chris finally picked-up. Now, we’ve all had bad days, and Chris, I hope the future holds better things for you…perhaps a job where you won’t feel so beleaguered. However, her snippy message was clear to me…”Get Lost”. She hung up.
And there we have it. I now own a pair of boots I will only wear if I am painting…alone. I still need new boots that I can wear this Christmas.
I’ve owned Rockport shoes before but I will never buy them again. Ever! Ever!
I guess it’s time to drag my sorry “OK Boomer” body down to my local box store. Maybe I’ll try a pair of Dr. Martins, or Wolverines, or Danners, or Chippewas, or Red Wings, or LL Beans, or Oliver Cabells, or Grensons, or Fryes, or Clarks, or Helms…just to name a few.
Don’t waste your time with Rockport. This company is just another example of a brand that once was good, but now is a faceless profit machine that doesn’t know the meaning of good business and customer service.

wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Ordered shoes, and was provided a tracking number a few days later. Checked on the UPS website and it's showing invalid tracking number. Contacted rockport customer service which is the black hole of actual customer service and they told me that it takes up to 48 hours for UPS to update the tracking info in the system. This is not true. I have a UPS commercial account and I get notifications when someone creates a shipment for my address. & days after the order rockport finally created a tracking number and UPS picked up the package. Rockport gets a 1 and I haven't even gotten the shoes.

I was looking online at a pair of shoes when all of a sudden my computer tells me my order has been placed. I just called customer service and told them of this dilemma and they told me the shoes have to be delivered and I have to go through the return process. This is highly unacceptable, I am a loyal customer to the Rockport brand but I must let you know that relationship ends today. I will find another company that will deliver me quality shoes and far superior customer service(which I am sure isn’t hard to find, the product might be hard to replace but the customer service at Rockport is disgraceful)
Bought a pair of mens hiking/winter…
Bought a pair of mens hiking/winter boots Rockport XCS in 2021. Had to have the right sole repaired as the uppers pulled away from the base in winter 2021.
This year 2022, same thing happened with the left.
Not buying another one. These boots are crap.

I ordered a genuine pair of US7.5w Rockport Sandals through Amazon online, which were the same size as my old tired pair. They were too small. Amazon would take them back and give a postage deducted refund. Not acceptable. Contacted Rockport direct on four occasions Promised the world but NO joy. Last resort could I exchange at a Rockport outlet. No response.
