Excellent service

Reward Flight Finder notified me when the seats and dates I wanted became available. I am so happy to be able to upgrade my premium economy to business class to Singapore. Great service would recommend to everyone. Saves checking on BA every single day for months, I was notified approx 4 months after all the original allocation had been released.

Nowhere near perfect but good

Regular email updates received on alerts but never quite seemed to match up with the availability no matter how quick I was, although there were usually additional options that hadn't been picked up! Strange. Clearly lots of bugs to sort out but in terms of usability pretty good.

Love receiving the alerts!

A really useful tool. I've upgraded to Gold and I now have at least 3 alerts for 3 different destinations for each half term. So right now I have 9 alerts set up, some 11 months ahead. Love receiving the alerts. Then the family arguments begin as to where to go to.

My third success

Thank you again RFF. I have just bought business class tickets to Japan for May 2024 using my companion voucher and saving about 6800 pounds against the cash price. This is my third success with you after having secured flights last year to Toronto and Bermuda. My strategy is to set alerts 9 months ahead, setting many alerts to different destinations at different times. It seems to work.

Greed.

Used to be a great site until this was bought out, now rthe new owner tries to squeeze and monetise as much as possible.

Alters are not reliable, even with the top tier. With alters not reliable, not really sure what it is you actually pay for.

Used to be a great site, now just run by greedy owners.

Functionality nuked

I loved this website, but recently they nuked the functionality of the Basic plan. It's fair to ask for payment, but I think they've got the pricing way too high; it's about double the price of Seat Alerts if you compare the useful features. Also, I'm getting marketing emails even though I never subscribe in signup processes.

We needed to make this change in order to become more sustainable and to continue improving the product. We're a team of 4 and running RFF takes a lot of time, effort, and resources.

Given that we help some customers save thousands of pounds (literally), I'd say our starting price of £3.33/month is very underpriced. Some customers email us to tell us they'd pay 2-3x what we charge considering the value we provide.

That being said, it does probably depend on your use case.
I'd love to have a chat to better understand your thoughts and will email you directly to continue this conversation.

What is Seat Alerts btw? Do you mean the EF tool? They charge $5-10 per month and last time I checked they didn't fully support reward availability for BA.

I'll double check why you're receiving emails from us, some setting may have gotten changed accidentally.

Further to my complaint the customer…

Further to my complaint the customer service promptly responded and refunded said amount so I can say I am now very happy with the escalation and the speed with which my complaint was dealt with
and have upgraded my experience accordingly

A godsend

Searching for free flights is a real hassle especially for popular destinations at peak times like Christmas. I just give up after a while. So this app is a godsend.

Functionality Questionable, Responsiveness Worse

Unwisely signed up for the gold service for a year although as far as I can tell it is not useful. No alerts on received, raised a support ticket a month ago and no response yet (despite multiple emails asking for a response).

Sincere apologies for our failure here.

Our company comprises of 4 people, and your ticket was mistakenly assigned to the one colleague who hasn't been checking customer support recently as they're working on a new feature.

Every time you sent a follow up message, the ticket didn't move to the top of the list in our shared inbox/view, as it was already incorrectly assigned to this one colleague.

Normally we're relatively OK at checking support tickets in a timely manner, but in this case we definitely fell short.

The lack of alerts may be due to a potential bug on your account. I've asked my colleague to investigate ASAP.

I have emailed you directly to apologise, provide compensation, and to assure you that you'll get a much better service moving forwards.

the seven day trial is really about…

the seven day trial is really about luring you into signing up for a year. If tyou cancel you loose any remaining days and if you dont you will be charged for a year in advance. That is not what I call a trial period.
And your response is a joke. It is NOT common practice to terminate the trial period immediately when the customer cancels.

We offer a free 7 day trial on both our Monthly and Annual plans.

Our billing system automatically downgrades customers that cancel their trial to our free Bronze plan.

Worth the money…

I've been a member for over a year now and found the service / web site first class. Enter the departure dates / destination and let the system keep an eye on it. My first choice and hit was Sydney, got it. An excellent tool.

We make it very clear on our website that we only support BA.
This is our strategy for the time being but we keep it under review.
We find by far the greatest demand is for BA flights.

In 3 months I didn't get a single review

I paid 69,99 GBP to upgrade to Gold on November 10, 2022 and I set up 3 alerts. Up to February 7, 2023 I have not received a single alert but I learnt from B.A. directly that there had been seats available. Unfortunately it was too late and I missed the opportunity. I am sorry to say this looks like a scam to me and I request full reimbursement. February 26: I am adding that following my complaint the company contacted me and apologized profusely, refunded me in full and offered a bonus on a new suscription. I hope they will correct all the glitches because if it works, this service would be very convenient.

Were you trying to book with a UK Amex BA Premium Plus Companion Voucher that shows extra business class availability via the 'I' fare code? If so, please note we don't support this extra availability currently.

Furthermore, London to Buenos Aires in Business class is very competitive. New availability in the last three months before travel doesn't show up often.

Set up Gold Account - Credit Card entry noted. Validation link not worked and now will not recognise email address for SIGN IN and Will NOT allow to set up again as USER Name already Used - Phone call from Douglas at support and all sorted

Very happy

Until recently, I was loyalty royalty, collecting & collecting Avios but never using them for flights. Now I know better. I use RFF to find flights 6-9 months ahead. First flight coming up in February 23 to the Caribbean.

Website works well, much better than BA. I had trouble cancelling the subscription, but they resolved it. Hence the increase in rating.

Did you want to downgrade to our free Bronze plan, or delete your account entirely?

Generally speaking, customers can downgrade themselves through our website as mentioned in our help section https://rewardflightfinder.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/6754142813709-How-do-I-cancel-a-subscription-.

For deleting your account entirely you'd need to email us at help@rewardflightfinder.com.

However, on further examination, there seems to be a technical glitch with your account. I will email you within 48 hours once it's resolved and will make sure you are reimbursed as necessary.
