Clunky, unreliable website
I attempted to book a reservation using Resy, and I had the day/time pulled up and was set to book it. A screen came up asking me to log in, so I tried to. It said my password was wrong, so I had to reset it. I went their their annoying loops of trying to create a new one, and by the time I did that, the reservation was no longer available. Why would they release my spot? Aggravating.
Resy's so-called 'wait list"
I echo the experience of many here who can't log in because the Resy app doesn't recognize phone number, then when using email says you can't create an account because one already exists! As serious and frustrating is their "wait list" for hard-to-get reservations, which they define as "first-come-first-served" but in reality is a free-for-all. In other words there is no order to their list; you may have put yourself on the list 2 days ago but the person who has been on for 2 minutes gets the same email notification as you if a table becomes available, meaning you not only have to be staring at your phone but then faster than anybody else when the notification comes in. Similar to an AM-radio promotion ("first caller gets a free ticket to ..") but we're talking here about actual customers and how they are treated.
C'mon Resy, you could design a real "first-come-first-served" system. Yes it will be a little harder, but ultimately more sane and more humane.

Still no Android app and not allowing more than one reservation, despite being hours apart, Resy continues to prove why Tock and open table are superior platforms.
Shocking customer service
Shambles of a brand. The disconnect between resy and the restauraunts is unreal. Pointing the finger at each other and not taking the blame for a mistake that either one of them needs to take responsibility for. Try to go direct to venues if you can

The service is unusable
The service is unusable. I tried multiple times to log in with my phone number, and it kept saying I was someone else. I tried to “create a new account” with my email, but it wouldn’t let me because I already have an account. The result is that I couldn’t make a reservation because it didn’t recognize the existing account I already have. It’s frankly BS you need an account to make a reservation on Resy anyways. A middle schooler could design a more functional website.
Absolutely the worst reservation system…
Absolutely the worst reservation system ever. Cumbersome, unbelievably duplicative, and endless forms. OpenTable is so superior in all aspects.
Resy is the most god awful reservation…
Resy is the most god awful reservation app. I've never encountered so many problems doing the most simplest thing. 3 credit cards, google pay, nothing works when inputting my details. THEN I found out it's founded by Gary Vaynerchuk - the wankiest person on the planet. It's no wonder that nothing in this app works. I'll probably NEVER dine at any places that use this for their booking.

Awful. Goes round in a loop. can't use it without creating an account. can't change the number associated with the account without logging in. Can't change the credit card associated with the account without logging in. But has the wrong number which seems to be the only way to log in. I hope they go bust and the owner stubs his toe

Wanted to make a reservation but had to sign up first. Was never able to sign up. Tried several times. Pretty much sucks! It should not be so difficult to make a dinner reservation. Calling restaurant is a much easier way.

Resy is a shoddy buggy unreliable mess. It will take your mobile and email address, and then bizarrely link your mobile to another (seemingly random) email address, preventing you from logging in and managing or cancelling your reservation. Only email support is offered, and don't expect a prompt reply.
No one should be using Resy, it's total garbage. Not restauranteurs, not diners. Restauranteurs will lose business due to customer dissatisfaction and frustration. Don't entrust your credit card details to them, as you'll get illegitimately charged when you can't login to cancel, even if it's before the cancellation deadline (due to Resy's technical failures).

I would not give resy even one star. If you have previously made a reservation using resy, it won’t let you make a subsequent reservation. Crap.

It’s always so difficult to book anything. Email not valid, email already in use, password not correct, can’t change the password because the email doesn’t work. Absolute joke

Literally given up booking at two different restaurants now, it’s so had to use. It won’t let me use mobile, so I create an account. The recaptcha then doesn’t seem to work on safari. Utterly crap

I would give a zero if I could. I made a reservation for a birthday dinner at OddDuck on Austin for 5:30 PM today and never recived an email from the restaurant or resy. Curious about that and logged in to resy and no reservation showing. This app socks. Stay away from booking at any restaurants using this service. Now all that is available is bar and patio when it is 100+ degrees outside.
Zero service
Zero service. Cancelled a booking and still got charged $150 per person as cancellation fee. Contacted them for them to rectify and they blatantly ignored my request and stated there was nothing they could do. Will not book any restaurant in the future which uses this service
