I live on Centrelink pension and I can’t afford to loose $65
Finally got a response from Rentola . Sara was vey helpful and refunded half of my subscription. Just a tip read the agreement properly before you commit

Ron assisted me and I had a few queries…

Ron assisted me and I had a few queries about my account and after I sent my concern he emailed me promptly and explained everything to me in a clear and concise manner about what is involved regarding subscription with your organisation which I really appreciated as it made everything more clear for me. I feel that he understood my situation and I was very grateful for this and feel that he showed empathy towards my situation and took remedial action - always putting the customer first. Knowing that your company takes the time to listen to the customer was very much appreciated and he went out of his way to assist me - in the future when I am able and have the need I will definitely consider your company and recommend people to sign up as I know its a good platform for people looking for properties and it provides an excellent service.
Ron should be congratulated on his excellent understanding and customer service which was wonderful and other companies should learn how to deliver outcomes to clients when the situation warrants it. Thank you Ron for your time and kindness and your manager should acknowledge you as a simple gesture like you showed towards me can leave a lasting impact upon your company. Have a lovely day Ron.

SCAMMERS!!!! The $2 fee is a lie they tried to charge $65 twice and they hide this fee so it's not easy for anyone to see.

Seems to be a total scam site

Why would anyone pay $2 to see ads for homes when the same homes are advertised on realestate.com.au? Looking at the reviews, they then start deducting $65 monthly. No thank you, I much rather use a legit site like realestate.com.au as compared to your scam site.

BE CAREFUL AND DO RESEARCH ON PROPERTIES

So far with research the houses Rentola are putting up are houses from other real estate sites. It says you'll pay less for houses per week but in fact if you put in the option on Rentola a monthly payment that is the actual rent you'll pay each week not each month. Be aware when searching for places with Rentola. EG: Says there's a 2 bedroom house in Terang, VIC for $95 a week, $370 a MONTH. $370 is how much a WEEK you'll rent this place for NOT a month. Be careful and do researches on these properties before signing up and applying.

I wish I could give less than one star

I wish I could give less than one star. They’re an absolute scam. You can’t contact anyone at all, I’ve sent several messages to them and get the same generic email directing me to their subscription page. Apparently they are well known as my bank wouldn’t even transfer the $2.00 trial payment.

The fact that all these reviews…

The fact that all the 5 star reviews are people reviewing the staff who helped them try to cancel is hilarious! No actual 5 stars for the actual service provided is funny imo.

It seems like the customer service agents either ask for 5 star reviews for their personal service or they're somehow incentivised.

In a time where the rental market is overwhelming coming across a company called RENTOLA, going for a small charge to access their rental properties for a week.
Later I found out that they consecutively charged me $65 and another $65 without even using their Platform.
To me it seems like a scam, which is well organised

DO NOT USE this service. I did not sign up to this and somehow they managed to charge me for years a total of over 2 thousand dollars. When i finally found the automatic payments, they refused to refund me knowing very well i NEVER used this service. Abhinav is the person i talked to that refused to be a professional and ethical person.

They've taken $65 out of my account

They've taken $65 out of my account. I haven't used their services and cancelled subscription as soon as I saw the money charge on my phone. The money was taken without any notice. On requesting for a refund, a certain employee of theirs named Ron refused to help or process a refund but instead was very rude.
Nina was polite and helpful.
But still I haven't received a full refund from this company, considering I haven't used their services which is very unfair. Worst I have ever seen. Plus its a hoax as it doesn't help with rentals. Please be careful with their website.

DONT EVEN WANT TO GIVE THEM ONE SINGLE STAR. I’m currently homeless/in between rentals and i authorised one singular two dollar payment to be able to apply for rentals through them. As I’m broke with no income coming in needing a place to live I checked my bank and my final payment from my last job came in and the next day RENTOLA /SHITOLA took out $65 for no reason at all. And the website didn’t even help me with anything. Don’t use this heinous and evil website.

Avoid …

They said $2 per month then took out $60. There was no one to contact and no way to cancel so i had to go to the bank to cancel it. It was not a helpful app nor was it easy to use.
Would not recommend it at all.
