Same as everyone

Same as everyone, advertising for a fee of $2 and after one week charge you a fee of $ 66.95 for one month as the small print came out later. I cancelled it straight away but they offer me 3 months free etc etc . I cancel definitely. "

Rentola Review – Misleading & Deceptive Charges

Rentola uses misleading advertising to trap users into unwanted subscriptions. They promote a $2 trial without clearly disclosing that it auto-renews at $65, burying this in fine print. Many, including myself, were unknowingly charged and denied refunds.

❌ Deceptive marketing – Hidden fees & unclear terms
❌ Auto-charges without clear consent
❌ Poor customer service & refusal to refund

This business profits from tricking people rather than providing real value. Avoid Rentola and report them to consumer protection agencies if you’ve been misled!

COMPLETE SCAM

COMPLETE SCAM. Just had to pay $65 for the second time after charging me previously wihtout me knowing. I requested a refund and checked if i was subscribed or not which im not. The website is not user friendly and it keeps taking to unwanted pages which is fulfilling their purpose of making users get lost trying to navigate on their site. I paid $2 (thinking this was a one off) and they are refusing to issue a refund

Big scammers

Big scammers. Fraud.
In the name of $2 they charged me $65. Scammed my credit card details. I had to cancel my card now they are threatening to take to debt collection. How are this non monitored company’s are operating. Absolutely disgusting.

I think it's absolutely disgusting that people have to pay to look for rentals in these hard times. What a joke not to mention how greedy and over the top rental prices are.

Honestly a scam

Honestly a scam! They charged me $65 for something that I did not agree to. I had to call my bank and cancelled my card. After reading on the internet I realised that this is totally scam.
They will ask you yo pay $2 first and then they will take your money for $65 but you never agreed to and they never said anything about the $65.
The worst part? You cannot cancel the payment, once you are charged I suggest you to cancel your card and get a new card. There is no way to call them, there is no way to talk to human being.
DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR CARD DETAILS TO THEM.

Edit:
You seriously are asking me to contact you when there is no way, I repeat, NO WAY to talk to human being when you took my money.
You mentioned on the charges that you would only take a few $ but you are not clear enough to say that you would take much more after a few weeks.
Do you expect people just to read your mind and you took their money and expect them not to fight back?

I did not sign up I tired a 1 week trial for 1 week for 01.00. Next minute I am getting charged 65.00 for bloody what you roags you are scum no wonder there is no trust in the world with people like you in it.

I subscribed for the newsletter and…

I subscribed for the newsletter and then it started taking more money out of my account the bank notified of a suspicious transaction from $2 they tried to take $65 out of my account

NO REFUND

They do a terrible job with customer service. I stopped using the website after two days and never went back to check. Then I was as charged for four months straight without even knowing that 65 dollars was going out of my bank every month. They still have not responded to my request for refund and now I have been scammed for 260 dollars.

How Dodgy

How Dodgy. I am a landlord offering 2 very nice and under rental market value homes in outer Brisbane. I have had tenants for years who pay cheaper rent with me allowing them to save and move out, as they buy their own place. Disgruntled with agents not looking after my tenants, I decided to manange my own add through Rentola. I could not believe Rentola did NO background checks on me. I thought, what a scammers' paridise. I even added photos of a random house ( not mine ) with a made up address and that was accepted. No checks, no safety, no ethics. With Rentola , you can place an add and scam away. Appalling, so I aborted my application and back to the agent. Renters beware. If you do see a house on this site, I would go there and knock on the door, good luck
