Skip arrived as expected. Service was friendly and professional. I would happily use REM again for a short job. However for long jobs this was an extremely expensive company to use. I had to pay the full charge every week again, as well as the full charge on emptying. Over 3 months was almost £2K. Every week they were calling to see if I need collection or a new bill. Then one week no call and skip disappeared almost empty as the week had ended. I then changed company and the new company let me have it for 6 weeks, for much cheaper than 1 week with REM no extra fees and didn't hassle me for collection. I appreciate from a company point of view you need a fast turnaround on skips and they are not making money when waiting to be filled, but from a client point of view this was very expensive and greatly increased the stress and cost of the job. Just a case of matching the service to the job length. This was my first job using a skip that I have self managed and I probably should have asked the following questions:- What is the cost to extend? What happens if the job over-runs? What is the cost to empty? Next time I will.

Phoned the company with a couple of questions prior to booking them. Phone was answered promptly and in a friendly manner. Very helpful employee who answered all questions. Made booking. Quoted price did not include VAT. Skip arrived on time but returning it was tortuous. Told it would be picked up in the next 3-5 working days at any time so had to wait in until it was eventually collected as getting at it required moving various cars in our street.
