I recently leased space at the Chasewood office in Houston, Texas. I rated my visit 5 stars mainly to avoid giving the usual receptionist, Kylie, a bad review. However, I found her manager, Rhiannon, to be unhelpful. I have been leasing space from them for over seven years and have always received exceptional customer service.
Yesterday, I accidentally reserved the wrong type of room and was billed only $6. I expected this charge to be more because I had been paying at least $17 when booking online. I anticipated that Rhiannon would charge me the difference. Instead, she billed me for the $6 and an additional $30 because my client arrived early. I typically arrive about 15 minutes early, but today we were 28 minutes early, so she charged me double for the room. I explained to her that if she had informed me beforehand that arriving more than 15 minutes early would incur an extra charge, I would have waited a few minutes.
Unfortunately, she was not willing to listen to my concerns. I felt unheard and unappreciated, especially since I have been following the same process for the past seven years. If policies have changed, I would expect them to communicate that clearly so I can adhere to the new rules.
