Not quite top quality

I really like the recipes and the instructions are clear snd easy to follow. I have been disappointed with the quality of some of the fresh vegetables and herbs - particularly the cabbage last week and basil this week.

The food is great and the recipes are quick and easy for busy weeknights

The food is great and the recipes are yum. My only comment would be I often need to add an extra tray of chicken or beef to the meals to accommodate 2 young adult boys who need more protein. Or I add in potatoes etc to pad it out. Otherwise it’s one of the better meal options I’ve tried.

I received my first QuiteLike order &…

I received my first QuiteLike order & unboxed it.

Each meal was inside a bag that was closed & labelled with the meal name.

I of course assumed that everything required for that given meal was inside each bag.

There were a few menus that I took it and then a cool bag at the bottom.

The cool bag has a large label that says 'Quite Cool', which I felt & it felt like an ice pack so I threw it away with the box.

Later that evening I discovered there is no meat inside the bags & watched a YouTube Video of an unboxing to discover thats where the meat is kept.

Contacted customer support who said there was nothing they can do.

Pathetic, cancelled my subscription.

It should be incredibly clearly labelled that there is meat inside the cool bag, and NOT located in the enclosed meal bags.

We completely understand how frustrating it would be to think ingredients were missing, especially when you were looking forward to trying your meals! Honestly, not a good first experience at all.

Our chilled ingredients are always packed separately in the insulated ‘Quite Cool’ bag to ensure food safety and freshness during delivery. This is mentioned in the welcome email and printed on the bag itself, but we can see how it might have been easy to miss if you assumed it was an ice pack, especially with it being your first box.

We’ll share your feedback with our team to review how we can make this even clearer for first-time customers, both in packaging and communication. We’re really sorry this was your first impression and hope we can win back your trust in the future.

Good service at the start with bad customer service outcomes, and unsuitable delivery times

I missed the deadline to cancel or edit my upcoming order because I was unaware the deadline was approaching and had passed due to having a toddler and newborn and managing a household under those conditions. My upcoming order options had seemingly been chosen for me automatically by the website so I spoke to a customer service agent through the service's chat to request a cancellation a few days before the order was due to arrive because the menu items chosen were unsuitable for my family but they were apparently unable to cancel and provide a refund due to their terms and conditions, which I understand having to be in place, however there is no flexibility or leeway when circumstances change, when Quite Like preaches flexibility as a feature of the service.

This company has no problem taking payment from my card but has immense difficulty providing a refund when requested.

Additionally, their delivery arrives at my house between 1am and 4am. This is unacceptable, the only reason I'm up is because I have a newborn but at the same time, I'm then required to push a heavy box through the house and risk waking my toddler and husband, who is asleep due to working night shift, then pack away ingredients in the fridge and freezer when I'm heavily fatigued. I don't understand why delivery can't take place between standard daytime hours.

Our cut-off times are in place to make sure ingredients are ordered fresh and food waste is avoided, but we know life doesn’t always fit neatly around deadlines. Your feedback about flexibility and clearer communication is really valuable, and we’ll be reviewing how we can make reminders more visible and improve our support in situations like yours.

We also hear your concern about delivery timing. Our current overnight delivery schedule is designed to get boxes out as early as possible for freshness, but we understand this doesn’t suit everyone, especially with young kids and shift work. We’re actively exploring alternative delivery windows in more areas, and feedback like yours helps us prioritise where change is needed.

We’re genuinely sorry this experience left you disappointed and hope we can rebuild your trust in the future. Thank you again for sharing such detailed feedback, it helps us do better.

Great choice of menus but VERY small portion size

Great choice of menus and so far all meals have been very tasty. Unfortunately the portion sizes are VERY small - we ordered the 4 meal plan for 2 small females and 1 male and there is barely enough food for us all - always needing to add side dishes to the meal.

The meals are great

The meals are great, but more should be done to use more Australian produce for example using golden circle pineapple instead of Philippine pineapple especially considering the cost of the meals.

Customer Service Is Terrible

We signed up for the first time to get these meal kits as we had heard good things. Week one we paid then and there thinking ok cool. Week two rolls around and we get an email at 6:11am local time saying there was a payment issue (no idea they were taking money today as no prior notice and no next payment coming up etc etc), Was given until 9:30am sydney time to fix payment a gap of less then 2 hours local time. I wake up see first email race to fix card details and get this done by 8:35 local time (We dont all work on sydney daylight time) get an email at 8:46am sayiong that we wont be able to deliver your meal kit next week as you didnt fix your payment in time. My problem isnt the food quality we havent even had our first meal kit delivered yet. My problem is that they expect everyone to be able to get their payment method fixed within 2-3 hours without giving any prior notifications or warnings and that there is no other way to fix it so we can get next weeks order. I will be cancelling our service and telling everyone who asks not to bother as this is the worst customer service in the meal kit industry as i have tried most of them and never had this issue.

Great meal kit.

The recipes are easy to prepare & I haven't found one yet that didn't taste great. The ingredients are fresh. I get two person recipes & quite often I have enough left over for another meal. Your delivery is tracked & you know exactly when it will arrive. I would recommend QuiteLike to anyone.

Taste, presentation, variety, ease

My husband said recently he should be on commission plugging QuiteLike. So much thought has gone into the process of creating these meals - from the clear instruction cards, to the way it looks when plated, it’s an absolute joy to cook and a kind of dinner lucky dip. We leave it all up to QuiteLike for the week’s mix. Love that it’s such a great concept of no waste as well. Love everything about these meals - well done

Easy and family enjoys the meals

The food is always fresh and my family really enjoys the meals. The recipes are easy to follow. Would love if the ’best before’ date would last the whole 7 days from delivery. Also more low carb options would be awesome.

Overall quite like has been good

Overall quite like has been good. Some of the freshness hasn’t always hit the mark, but most of the meals are tasty. The chicken dishes seem to have been our favourite. Some meals have very strong flavours but learning to read the recipes before I order each week. Only negative is the meat is quite short dated so you need to make sure you use it in the first part of the week but overall very happy with it.
