We've used a few different meal services over the years and none of them compare to Quitelike. Quitelike meals are always simple but tasty, good vege options, and never any issues with the orders or delivery. We've been using them weekly for over a year and cannot fault.

Hearing you’ve been cooking with us weekly for over a year and can’t fault the experience means the world to us.
Good food, but recipes can be unreliable.
Have been using QuiteLike for a year or so now. Have previously tried Dinnerly, HelloFresh and Every Plate.
Good things:
- Appealing meals, more than the other meal kits I've tried.
- Good variety of flavours.
- Good quality proteins.
- Good quality pre-prepared main elements eg beef schnitzel, meat balls, ravioli.
- They use real products eg yoghurt or feta, not some anonymous packaged single serving of dubious origin.
- Missing ingredients very rare.
My main complaint is the recipes, which I find below average in reliability and execution. I'll give some examples:
- Following the recipe's seasoning recommendations will often result in food that is so salty it is inedible. They use a lot of stock cube added to sauces, but this doesn't work well in small volumes, invariably being too salty.
- The stated cooking times are not accurate, typically need to add 20 minutes.
- Maybe 20% the recipes aren't that well tested. For example, a baked pasta sauce will say you can soften capsicum in 10 minutes under the grill, but this is way off.
- Some recipes make obvious mistakes - eg use normal beef mince for a hamburger patty. The coarser grind they use for normal mince leaves large pieces of fat and these will explode when you cook the patty.
If you are an experienced and intuitive cook, perhaps you will adjust things on the fly and it will be fine. If you are someone that needs to follow the recipe exactly then you will run into issues. I found HelloFresh for example to have more reliable recipes, while also being generally less palatable.

We also hear your feedback on recipe reliability and execution, and you’ve raised some fair and specific points. Seasoning balance, cooking times and clear, accurate instructions are critical, especially for customers who rely on recipes step by step. While our recipes are tested, your examples highlight where adjustments or clearer guidance could improve consistency and confidence in the outcome.
Your comment about experienced cooks adapting versus newer cooks needing precision is particularly valuable. Our goal is for recipes to work well for both, and feedback like this helps us identify where we need to refine instructions, timings or techniques.

SCAM BEWARE
So in Oct I cancelled my subscription with quitelike.
Yesterday my card was charged for an.order I did not authorised.
I have been back and forward with their staff member named Persius.
I asked for refund back as I cancelled my subscription and I.no longer required to order quite like in the future. I also let them know that we are away for the holidays.
Received a response back to say they cant canel the order or reimburse back. The order will still be sent to my home address.
I asked for a contact number or a manager to speak to, they said they.onlt communicate via chat or email. This is very frustrating and disappointing. I will get to the bottom of it and will never recommend quite like to anyone.
This is fraud and they hide behind a chat bots as they dont want to own up and take ownership if something goes wrong with their system etc.

Food has been good/ box delivered to wrong address
Food has been good, it is very expensive though and yesterdays box got delivered to the wrong address so we have nothing this week. The address it got delivered to is a full 17 mins walk from here so not sure how it got delivered to somewhere nowhere near here.

The recipes are mostly tasty and generously portioned. The cuts of meat and fish are of good quality. However, some vegetables and fresh herbs like tomatoes and cucumbers didn’t stay fresh for a week or went bad, especially the herbs. Occasional missing ingredients were also annoying. Despite these minor issues, I still enjoy the overall experience and learning new recipes.

Endless delivery issues- avoid if you can
Please, re-consider using QuiteLike if you live in a Villa or a Unit and are not strong enough to lift heavy boxes.
Don't do it if you are: elderly, sick or have small children that you cannot leave at home as you will often have to walk far from the house to retrieve a box from all sorts of unusual locations.
QuiteLike will not deliver to the door as promised. You will inevitably end up with a large, heavy cardboard box that is half-sealed most of the times and wet if it was raining. Ingredients are often spilled or missing. A few times they dumped are box on the street, a long way from our villa, next to the mailboxes, far from our home. What is the excuse? The driveway is too narrow for a truck. Yet, we get truck deliveries every day. QuiteLike appears to be the ONLY company where delivery issues appear unresolvable.
Additionally, it is only my disabled, blind husband and a 76-years old mother at home during the day. They cannot manage carrying a heavy box 50 meters from the street. The worst part is that I have raised this issue many times before, patiently explained our concerns and asked for them to fix this. They chose not to do anything about it as it happened again on Monday.
We like their food, but the issue appears to be unresolvable. Our next door neighbours use other companies and their food is delivered perfectly to their door, every time. So clearly, the truck issues cannot be used as a legitimate excuse.
We wouldn't wish this experience on any other family.

You trusted us to deliver safely to your door and we failed to meet that commitment, repeatedly. The fact that this has impacted a household with a blind and disabled family member and an elderly parent makes this even more distressing, and we are truly sorry for the added stress and physical difficulty this caused.
You are absolutely right to expect better. A delivery being left far from your home, exposed to weather, partially sealed, with issues of spillage or missing ingredients is not the standard we stand by. We also acknowledge and accept your frustration that this was raised previously and not resolved. That is on us.
We would like the opportunity to properly investigate what has gone wrong at a driver and logistics level and work toward a real solution, not another temporary explanation. If you are open to it, please email us at support@quitelike.com
with your delivery address so we can escalate this directly with our delivery partner and senior operations team.

The worst customer experience I’ve ever had
I did a lot of research into meal delivery services and landed on Quite Like as I felt they had a lot of healthy options and variety. Our box was due for delivery on Sunday the 30th of November (confirmed in an email and text the day prior). It got to Sunday afternoon and we had not received the delivery so we checked the tracking link which was saying the delivery was due Monday 1st of December. I emailed the company and they offered a 50% refund for the delay. It’s now Monday afternoon on the 1st and we still have no delivery. We cannot get a single update on when or if the delivery is even coming. The tracking link has not moved from “ordered” to “shipped or out for delivery”. I have followed up multiple times today for an update and all they respond is “we are awaiting an update from our delivery partner”. It is now 5pm on Monday - no solid answers on if our delivery is coming and no meals for dinner last night or tonight (that we have paid and planned for).

By far the best meal kit we have tried
By far the best meal kit we have tried, primarily down to the freshness and excellent quality of the ingredients. There is plenty of diversity within the menu; after 8 weeks x 5/week we've only chosen the same thing again twice - both times because they were so yummy the first time! Portion sizes are also generous. We signed up to get us through a tricky patch with long-term illness but this has made our lives so much easier we just carried straight on. Both meat and veg are of excellent quality and the fresh herbs make every meal tasty. Very happy customers who will continue through 2026 with this service.

Totally changed my life
Totally changed my life, I have 4 kids and 2 adults and this has made my life extremely easy for dinners, I place the cards on the bench and the kids can pick dinners - most dinner they all try 8/10 they love. Meals are quick and healthy, and some use foods I would never have thought to use but end up loving. Only drawback is I would love to go back and be able to order past meals as some meals they can’t get enough off.
Cards are brilliant who ever is home either hubby or myself cooks the dinner extremely easy to follow!
I no longer buy random meat at the supermarket or vegetables and try and form dinners in my head for the week.

Packed well , has everything in the bag , plus proteins are separate, along with all the condiments that need refrigerating .
Such a thoughtful ,well planned menu every time , and what you see on the A4 menu card is exactly what I end up with .
