Ordered a phone case and never arrived & no refund

Ordered a phone case on 2nd April and paid £14.97 (including delivery) never recieved the item, after several emails chasing the item was informed it takes upto 6 weeks as comes from the US. Still no item or refund after they keep telling me to wait 10days. This was in the 16th May and now they don't even reply to any emails and still no refund. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY. Never had such rubbish customer service.

They sent the wrong case which cost me £11.55 and £2 for postage, their response is we can discount you on another case or you can get a refund after you pay for postage, so it cost £11.55 for case then £2 for postage and now its cost another £4.20 to return all because they sent the wrong item. Meaning I'm £17.75 worse of and your answer is, buy another and pay again for case and postage. They also have no customer service besides 1 email in 2 weeks and the response i got was rude an disinterested.

Scam

Scam! Sent the wrong (a cheaper) phone case. Then, instead of refunding said they could give 20% off or i could seal the case back up in the envelope "with a note" and write on it "return to sender" to get back to the USA. Really?! How about sending the correct item or giving a full refund for their mess up? Other reviews suggest this is a common thing they do. Also, there are only 5* reviews on their website.. if you submit a negative review, it doesn't show up. So, very misleading!

To be honest hopeless

To be honest hopeless, ordered a case in December 21, just got a glass screen protector,, not a good one in May.
Still trying to get it right , avoid at a cost unless you want to waste you money

Ordered from their UK website

Ordered from their UK website, product marked as in stock. 3 and a half weeks later and the case still has not arrived. On investigation it transpires the goods are shipped from the US and can take up to 6 weeks. Not much use if you want to protect your expensive phone immediately.

I will not order from them again.

US based company, don't reply to emails

As with lots of people, I wish I read reviews first.
I didn't realise (no info anywhere to suggest) they are based in Brooklyn US.
Ordered a case for a new phone ideally needed it immediately, over 2 weeks later, nothing. Tracking ID through DHL just says 'in transit' and hasn't changed (I suspected a scam straight away, but the site appears genuine)
Emailed them no response.
Currently trying to claim the money back through my bank.

Punkcase Scammers

I continue in vain trying to get a refund from Punkcase UK actually based in the USA they refuse to accept that they sent a cheaper product and when pressed suggest I post the rubbish case back to them in the USA and mark it return to sender rather that a return post paid label .
Please do not deal with this bunch of scammers

Well in my case I think either would be easier to crawl through the eye of a needle or enter heaven on rainbow rollerboots than trying to precure a refund out of this company.

Ok so first things first, the "UK" is misleading at best. This company is very much US. I don't think delivering to the UK gives you the ability to stick UK in the name. I didn't spot this. My bad. I also ordered the wrong item. My bad..... when it eventually arrived that is! I mean it was a race between finding Narnia and receiving this item.

So this was ordered sometime in November a couple of weeks before a birthday on the 21st. Item received early December. Then the refund process started. The email quoted in the website didn't work. I then had to message, but was directed back to email.... Smooooth. They asked for an RMA number, no idea what that is. They asked for an order number. I'd deleted the original email.... Again, my bad. I messaged to let them know I didn't have an order number, the eventual response asked me for my order number. I was then asked for it again after I reminded them there I was informing them I didn't have it. Customer service 101..... read the message.

It took a minimum of 3 or so days to respond to each message. I had to chase several times for a response. I'm polite by nature but was disappointed with their very basic typo laden messages. Every message was like this.

It took me from the 8th Dec until the 12 Jan to get an order number. Magically managed to get the elusive RMA number that same day. Victory!

Item was posted shortly after. They received it in February it seems, I chased them and they asked for a tracking a short couple of days later. Once they received it they then asked if I wanted a refund or exchange... Oh refund please! Within a week I got it. 3 months trying to get this sorted. Refund received in march... Historically lots of things have happened in the time its return to get the refund so perhaps this delayed things? Nothing excuses poor customer service though especially through email/messages where that little extra can make such a difference. I've gone through childbirth but this was a more painful process.

I have one lasting question, what is an RMA number?

So I’ve been refunded with no explanation and PunkCase UK has bumped me for the shipping charge @ £1.99.
I guess I’ve been PUNKED :-(((
Ouch..!!!
No good reviews there then.
Try somewhere else for your iPhone battery case these guys are rubbish.

Scam Company

I placed an order on 13th December 2021 for a case to arrive to in time for Christmas without realising that the item was coming from the US as nowhere on the site made this obvious. After it didn't arrive, I waited until January to message Punkcases and ask about where it was as the tracking was showing it had disappeared.

They told me to wait 6-8 weeks, so I then messaged them in February to request a refund as the item had clearly been lost in transit. This time, they didn't bother to reply and I even tried calling their US office to no avail. In the end, I've had to arrange a chargeback through my credit card company and have lost £5 from delivery for an item I never got. I've also flagged the company to UK Trading Standards as they clearly are not fit to trade in the UK.

The company is a total scam operation that is designed to steal your money. AVOID

Scam, evil, useless

Like other unfortunate customers I have been scammed. Sent me the wrong case, said I have to pay shipping even though their fault. Luckily PayPal covered me shipping costs but then they denied they received item back. Luckily I did tracked delivery so they then changed tack and said item discontinued even though still advertised on their website. Then they only offered partial refund. After lots of hassle they finally did full refund, one month after I thought I was ordering i never actually got. Avoid avoid avoid
They also have multiple different company names to avoid negative feedback all in one place. Punkcase, puncase.co.uk, punkcases.co.uk etc.

Scam!

Beware!

As many others on here have said this is NOT a UK company. Fell for it, ordered an expensive case and then became sceptical once I received the “tracking” info via a third party app (not DHL website). Tracking just gave generic information and updated itself daily with the same rubbish. Contacted them demanding they cancel order and refund me which they refused to. Quick email to PayPal and the refund was made in a matter of hours. Don’t fall for it guys. Although I was refunded I can’t help thinking if I hadn’t used PayPal I’d be £80 worse off now. Also take note of the recent positive reviews on here. Same rubbish spouted - clearly bots. As soon as the order was refunded the tracking info disappeared, despite pink cases claiming the item had been shipped. Tracking number according to DHL didn’t exist.

Beware- ordered long before Xmas- still waiting for order- only bought as thought were uk site- dhl tracking number is unidentifiable- only response was early January and was very unhelpful- basically they steal your money and don’t supply goods

One reason to buy this case was that…

One reason to buy this case was that there was no protruding edge around the camera on the back. On the other hand, the edge of the display is far enough above and from experience, this protection is good enough. The side grip grooves are practical and the surface is pleasantly rough. The case fits snugly and inductive charging works well with a case too. The MagSafe charger also sticks to it. The magnetic holding force is big enough.
