Wrong phone case sent

Wrong phone case sent. I am now awaiting a response as to how I can exchange it for the case I ordered, however reading other reviews I am feeling rather apprehensive.

False advertising. Woeful customer service. Rip off company

If this item is no longer available, why was I given a DHL tracking number and informed that it was on it's way on 13/02/24? When on 28/02/24 I asked how long my package would take, I was told 2 to 6 weeks. Now I am being told you haven't got anymore of the item and I will have to wait 5 to 10 working days for you to refund the money that you took for a product you didn't have in stock while falsely claiming it was on its way?
Am I being refunded for my other purchase, of which the tracking number you gave has been supplied?

Do not buy

Do not buy! I ordered an iPhone case - it took a long time to come, the wrong cover came. Quality is not good - I wouldn't use. Have emailed and completed form on their website multiple times - no reply from company. Seems they are a total scam. Beware and stay away

These people are thieves. I ordered a battery phone case worth £33 and till this moment I have never received it. Never buy anything from them. A word to a wise is sufficient.

Did not receive item

Ordered 2x iphone cases (received) but different colour to what was ordered and a powerbank 1000MAH battery pack (not received). I have emailed regarding this but no response as of yet.

Ordered Case for my brand new Samsung
Galaxy S24 Ultra, needed a tough case for phone protection. Anyway ordered it and then read these reviews.... So I ordered another case thinking this one would not turn up. What came from Amazon the biometrics did not work on phone so was useless. Day after I got the Amazon Case, the Punk Case arrived from USA. Took about four days to come. Anyway I sent back the Amazon Case, the Punk Case worked perfectly with Biometrics and all ports had flaps including SPen so great protection as I work in dirty environments. All I can say is the order arrived quickly and the case is well built and works perfectly with the phone. Shame so many people have had a bad experience, but not me.

Utter rip off this company is!

I ordered a Teal coloured case for my iPhone 13 (£27 I payed for it) and got sent a Samsung Red Case! So it's not fit for purpose. The company poses as a UK company, but they are based in Brooklyn, America. Shipping takes ages. I asked for a full refund, but they say I have to pay to get it shipped back to the Sates at my own expense, this will be expensive and I will have to pay import duties also. So can you imagine if I send it back pay £13 to do so and then they don't refund me my money. Id rather cut my losses, just incase I loose more money.

Ordered case for my phone. Case which was sent was wrong colour and flimsy. Tried to email their customer services but received auto reply saying address not found!! Dont bother with this company

Not as advertised

The phone case I received is not as advertised on the Punkcases website. However, it's identical to a phone case sold by a company called Cenmaso, and available on Amazon at a fraction of the price (£19.99).

I'm not naive to the fact that different companies sell the same products with their own branding. I could accept that if the advertised design was the same and the price was similar.

In this case, the design does not match the pictures on the Punkcases website. Specifically, the encasement around the camera lenses and other details around the outer edge are different.

As the phone case advertised by Punkcases is more than double the price of the item I received, I'm left feeling utterly ripped off.

I would typically do some due diligence on a company before purchasing for the first time, which would have alerted me to a plethora of dreadful reviews on Trustpilot. Alas, on this occasion I failed to do so and literally paid the price! Caveat emptor.

I have to agree with all the bad…

I have to agree with all the bad reviews. I purchased a case in October which never arrived despite initially receiving a DHL tracking no. This soon expired and the item dissappeared into the abyss. I have emailed 3 times for a refund and I keep getting an automated response saying it will be refunded in 5-10 days. If course it never did.
Do not buy from them, you will never get anything expect less money in your bank!

Rubbish company and peoduct

Just for info. A review dated 16th September 2023 with my name attached to it is NOT MINE.
I ordered a phone case from punkcase on 12th Oct 2023. It was a DISASTER. It took ages to have half the product. THIS COMPANY IS RUBBISH.... HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM.
THEY ARE CROOKS.
STAY AWAY
THEY OWE ME £60.
I WILL MAKE IT MY MISSION TO CONTINUE TO POST NEGATIVE FEEDBACK/REVIEWS

Avoid Scam!

I purchased a phone case from the website and paid for priority delivery on the 29th December, email recieved to say DHL have received confirmation that item has been booked in. Fast forward to today, I have emailed Punkcase on three occasions with no response to my email not even an auto response. I contacted DHL who confirmed the only information they recieved was an electric delivery note, no physical item has been recieved. I have requested a refund but looking at the previous reviews, I will need to do a charge back. Please look elsewhere.

Firstly, don't be fooled by the co.uk title, this is a US company shipping from the US, and depending on the value of your purchase you're likely to be hit by customs duty, VAT and service charge when (if) the item arrives in the UK. We really shouldn't allow companies to charade as a UK business when they're not, but in fairness if you read down through the T&Cs it does say in their. Because of course we all read that, don't we?

In my case, a couple of days after packing the order I got an email with a partial refund, the order number and no information. I replied asking what was happening and got a reply asking for my order number, despite it being clearly shown on their email. I replied with the order number to get a reply saying I had a refund, which they'd already told me. I asked again what the refund was for and why it was only partial but got no reply

I then raised a PayPal dispute and PayPal refunded within a few hours, so I'm sure they get a lot of issues with this company (though so trade with them)

Long and short, I wish I'd read reviews before ordering from this shambolic scammer

Pleasantly surprised

Ordered prior to reading the terrible reviews on Trustpilot, was worried I’d experience the same or had fallen foul of some scam, so was actually surprised when it arrived 5 days later as ordered. Gave 4 four stars as wasn’t clearly advertised when ordering that cases were coming from USA and could be several weeks. Quite a lot of air miles for a phone case if you think about it. Had a few days and so far no complaints over the actual case.

Wold give it 0 stars if possible. They supposedly get sent from the US despite being punkcase Uk. Mines not arrived in a month and a half, asked for a refund, then got offered a refund which I said I wanted then to not be given the refund but asked if I wanted to re order the product as they assumed it’s gone missing in the post. No customer service help via email.

Case blew up after 8 months use

Case blew up after 8 months use, emailed but received no reply, I purchased a second replacement case that after 5 weeks only re-charges the phone by 25%!
I have emailed them twice now and received no reply.
Customer service is atrocious. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

How to rid ourselves of these low lifes. Read this!

Same experience as everyone else. If you have suffered at the hands of these charletons, report it to your local trading standards department at you local council, and also to citizens advice. I'm not allowed to post a link, but search for "Reporting to Trading Standards - Citizens Advice". Go to CA website , and scroll down to "Report a business to Trading Standards".

You can either wait until the weekend (can you believe it!!!) to contact the Citizens Advice trading standards team, or if you don't have limitless time like these people do, just report it to an advisor through live chat. They advised me of the following:

"The Consumer Contracts Regulations give consumers a 14 day cooling off period when they purchase
qualifying goods online or at a distance. As you are still within this timescale, you could argue to cancel the
purchase for a full refund plus any standard postage fees you paid.
It is down to you to prove that you have cancelled, so we would advise doing this in writing and keeping a
copy as evidence.
We would also advise approaching your bank to determine whether they can help you claim a refund under a
voluntary 'chargeback' scheme.
Start by having another conversation with the trader. If you do not get anywhere following this conversation,
you may wish to raise a complaint using the trader's complaints process or by putting something in writing.
Ideally this should be sent via email with a read receipt or by recorded mail - keep a copy of any
correspondence. You can find a letter template here.
If you cannot resolve this matter with the trader after exhausting the complaints process, it will be worthwhile
asking them whether they are a member of or whether they would be willing to use Alternative Dispute
Resolution (an ADR scheme). This is an independent third party who can mediate or arbitrate between
yourself and a trader.
Make sure you set a date in your correspondence for the trader to respond to you by - as a guideline we
typically suggest a minimum of at least 7 days. If you receive no response, or an unsatisfactory response
within this timescale, come back to us and we'll give you advice on what to do next.
We will refer this matter to Trading Standards, they may contact you for additional information if they
require it."

Spoke to my local council trading standards team who seemed fairly disinterested and said:
"I have reviewed the website and note that within the terms of service, they do indicate that the products are shipped from the US and their service is governed by New York laws. Therefore, you are bound by the terms of their service, which may not be the same as the UK.

If you purchased the product using a debit card, or credit card you may have rights within the UK and would suggest that you speak with the Citizen Advice Soncumer Helpline (their contact details were within our autoreply for advice."

Update**********:
Infact I didn't even have to go that far. No need to get rude with them. Just be firm. I told them they hadn't made me aware i was going to wait weeks for the case, and I needed one asap. Which is true. Each time they kept offering me more and more discounts if I kept the case, and each time I repeated myself that I didn't want the case and wanted a full refund. I also told them I would refuse the courier upon delivery. If you're not home, you can ask the courier to come and recollect the parcel. Eventually they refunded me. Persistence is key
