Loved my trip to Costa Rica with plotpackets. Everything was well planned and went smoothly. Activities were great and we had enough free time to do what ever we liked. Our guide Olman went above and beyond to make our trip amazing! He really did everything to help and make us feel safe. He’s a fantastic guide. I found out about plotpackets and this trip from seeing Alex Page’s tiktok.

Some recommendations for plotspackets to change is to maybe skip Monteverde and go to La Fortuna instead. As La Fortuna was not on the itinerary I went there myself and I loved it so much, so I would definitely recommend that instead of Monteverde as I found that there was so much more to do in La Fortuna and for better prices. In Liberia we went on the adventure day, the horse riding included did not feel ethical at all as the staff was treating the horses very poorly.. Our guide Olman recommended another horse riding in Monteverde which I did and the horses there were much better taken care of and the horse riding there was a really great experience.

I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone! I would love to do another trip with plotpackets

Went to Kenya with plotpackers i believe it was their first ever trip to Kenya hosted by the spectacular Cody&Ellie. As hosts they were awesome super funny and easy to get along with and also had experience in kenya which helped them give us information we needed. It was absolutely incredible, all accomodations were comfortable and nice, transport also comfortable and spacious, Meals were tasty and catered for all diets. Overall just an incredible trip and incredible company, definitely looking forward to my next trip with Cody & Ellie.

The Paradise in Panama trip was excellent! Our guide, Nicolas, was very funny, knowledgeable, and helpful. He was always willing to explain the schedule, answer any questions we had and step in when needed to make sure the trip was running smoothly. Panama is a beautiful country, and this trip was a nice intro into the area as we got to experience everything from mountains to beaches to city. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone!

What an amazing trip!!! Everything was really well organised, all of the accommodation was superb, especially where we stayed in the Maasai Mara! The safaris were amazing, we were so lucky and saw all of the big five in a matter of a few hours! And of course, our hosts Ellie and Cody were brilliant and really made the trip! This is my second trip with Plotpackers and I couldn’t recommend them more! I will definitely be booking onto another!

The whole trip was wonderful! From not having to worry about logistics (always a travel headache) to the most amazing sights, food and overall vibes! Cody and Ellie were incredible hosts, and they booked such a knowledgeable guide in Wathanga! I only wish the trip lasted longer!!! So many once in a lifetime experiences and sights to see, I would highly recommend!

My time spent on a plotpackers Brazil was incredible, I made friends for life and the memories can’t be beaten. I felt incredibly safe the whole time and thought the itinerary was really well organised. However, a huge reason for its success was our guide Mateus. He went above and beyond to give us all a personal experience, spending time getting to know us and what we wanted out of our trip and ensuring it all happened. He was on hand for any advice and support 24/7 and was incredibly well organised and prepared for everything. He was so friendly and outgoing and clearly loved his home country so much, which helped us appreciate Brazil all the more. We couldn’t have had anyone better.
The only thing I would say is that we all spent way more extra costs than what was recommended by plot packers - meals as cheap at £3-£4 a day were almost impossible to find and we had a lot of free time to fill. Instead of needing 200-300 £ spending money, you need more like at least 500 if we’re being realistic.
But everything was well organised and I’d love to do a trip like this again!

I had the most amazing trip with Samantha, she is the sweetest person and cares so much about your needs. She always checks in and ensures you’re having the best time! Maudi and Gerhard are the best tour guides, they really cared about making sure we were safe. Both of them made sure we got to see and do everything we wanted to!! Sam, Maudi, Gerhard made this the best trip Xx

First ever time booking and doing a tour like this and plotpackers seemed perfect for everything I was looking for. Very good value for money, and our tour guide Jose was amazing! The game reserves and the safari experience was very surreal - definitely a pinch me moment.
The group size was perfect and we all got along perfectly, would definitely book again with plotpackers.

I loved my time in Brazil - (second group)
The beaches were amazing , Ilha Grande and Paraty and Rio were beautiful. Food was stunning and Mat our tour guide couldn't do enough and was attentive and helped me out a lot and made sure I was able to participate in group activities as a disabled person which meant a lot to me . The highlights for me was the boat snorkelling island tour and jeep Land Rover waterfall tour. Plotpackers : please retain Mat and please given him better pay. Because he's legend and he someone worth keeping in the company.

Just finished my trip to Kilimanjaro with Plotpackers. Everything was handled perfectly by the Plotpackers team. From the airport pickup, additional activities, to making it to the Summit with an amazing group of people, and an even better team of porters, guides etc. that supported us the entire time. Our entire group made it to the Summit, a big thanks to the team of Popote Africa, specifically Zizu, Stanley, Nelson and (Mountain Goat) Debbie for making our dreams come through.

I definitely recommend anyone to book this trip with Plotpackers if u are up for a challenge!

I went on the Costa Rica trip in january. I came across plotpackers on Alex Page’s tiktok and immediately signed up for this trip! I had the best experience ever! Our guide Olman was super kind and helpful and made the trip unforgettable. I was also very lucky with the group of girls I met, we already have plans to meet up again. At first I was a little scared of going on my own, but it was the best decision I have ever made. Not just meeting new people, but also going out of my comfort zone and trying new activities and local food.
I would always recommend plotpackes!

My trip to Costa Rica was such an amazing experience! In particular Manuel Antonio and Monteverde were my favourite places to stop and the whole trip from start to finish was so well planned. I cannot say enough how amazing our guide Olman was - he truly made the trip the experience it was and went above and beyond for all of us girls on the trip. He is so knowledgeable and really cares about making sure we are all safe and having a good time on the trip so I would really like to thank him for everything. Also shoutout to Alex for being like our group mom and making sure to get photos and videos of all of us, you are the best!!! I made such good friends and would really recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going on a trip to Costa Rica to go for it :)

I went on my very first solo group trip with PLOTPACKERS, and all I can say is that it was absolutely amazing. Our guide in Iceland, Jökull, was incredibly funny and extremely knowledgeable about the country. He sang along with us to all our girly songs and even took us to his hometown, showing us many hidden gems along the way.
Iceland truly deserves a spot on your bucket list, it honestly feels like another world. In just a few days, you get to experience glaciers, waterfalls, geysers, and you can even choose optional activities like horse riding or whale watching.
I booked the trip through Lara, and we arranged our flights together with several other girls. She is such a lovely person and made everything very easy. I would definitely recommend booking this Iceland trip with PLOTPACKERS.
Bonus: it’s also great value for money!

Van 3 tot 14 December ben ik op reis geweest naar Costa Rica met Olman Gonzalez Herrera en Lara de Jong. Dat het een onvergetelijke reis was, is een understatement. Lara haar ervaring, liefdevolle en energieke karakter samen met hoe ze haar kwetsbaarheid durft te tonen aan de groep maakt dat je je direct vertrouwd voelt. Daarnaast staat Olman met zijn passie, brede kennis en zorgzaamheid. Bij beide kun je met alles terecht, Olman verzorgt de reis tot in de puntjes en gaat above en beyond om te zorgen dat je het naar je zin hebt en je prettig voelt. Prachtig om te ervaren hoe hij zielsveel van zijn baan en land houdt en hier echt met enorme passie over kan vertellen. Na de reis ben ik zelfstandig doorgereisd, en zelfs toen heeft Olman me nog fantastisch geholpen. Ik hoop hem ooit nog eens te kunnen opzoeken en durf met hart en ziel te zeggen dat het een vriendschap is die ik voor altijd zal koesteren.

I had two really amazing weeks in Costa Rica with Olman and Lara. We saw the most beautiful places, tried new activities, and made lots of new friends. No matter what question you had, they were always there to help. Olman is especially great at making sure you have everything you need. 🤩

The trip does offer a lot of freedom, which for me sometimes felt like a bit too much. I personally book a group trip because I like having things organised in advance (and meet new friends). Quite a few activities are not included and need to be booked separately, and there are several days where you really have to plan yourself what you want to do. The same goes for breakfast: you usually need to arrange this yourself, and not every hostel has a supermarket within walking distance, which can be a bit inconvenient.

Ik heb een prachtige vakantie gehad in Costa Rica! Plotpackers is een fijne organisatie en onze guide Olman was geweldig. Ik hoefde hem alleen maar te appen en hij regelde het voor je. Wel was het fijn geweest als er meer activiteiten inbegrepen zouden zitten bij de prijs en wat meer maaltijden want dit maakt de vakantie uiteindelijk wel een stuk duurder. Ook zou ik het persoonlijk fijner vinden als de accomodaties wat dichter bij het centrum zouden zitten zodat je niet afhankelijk bent van taxi’s e.d. om ergens te komen. Ik betaal dan liever wat meer. Ook fijn dat we een vertrouwenspersoon erbij hadden (Lara). Al met al echt een top vakantie gehad en leuke mensen ontmoet.

Shambles from start to finish. This was meant to be a dream trip to Sri Lanka but it was a nightmare. Firstly, most of the activities are free and the hostels cost next to nothing. £899 for this trip was absolutely not worth it. We spent more than that trying to get around and survive the trip. A bunch of us did ask for a price breakdown but never got one. Our guide was either intoxicated or hungover the whole time, they had no clue what they were doing. Every time we rocked up at our *booked* hostels the staff were always surprised we’d turned up. One hostel claimed they didn’t have enough room for all of us so some had to go next door to what can only be described as a wet dark mouldy dungeon. We missed out on a few *included* activities due to the guides lack of brain cells.
The trip was made up from a great bunch of guests and together WE made the most of it, there was no point even booking this when we could of done everything for a fraction of the price and much SAFER. I could go on but I won’t it makes no difference. I’ve sent several emails complaining including videos and images of the disaster trip. They say it was put under investigation and we each got £100 off a future trip as this was the max they can do apparently, but then later gave the general public an even bigger discount off the same trip…Obviously mentioned this in another complaint and got I can use the discounts together…I’ll be honest, I won’t be using it or going on any future trips with them. I don’t want to give you anymore money! Albeit, I heard good stories from fellow guests about other trips they did but unfortunately I would rather not take the risk. It’ll take a while to save all the money I spent trying to stay safe anyway!

I had such an amazing trip. I made so many new friends and had such cool experiences. All the activities were really cool and we also had the choose to do some optional activities. Our host was really sweet and was always there for us. Our Guide was seriously so amazing!! He knew so much about all the places and really was the nicest man ever!

Dit was de leukste trip tot nu toe! Ik heb 2 mega leuke weken gehad in Costa Rica. Dit komt mede door onze geweldige tour guide genaamd Olman. Als je een trip boekt, doe dat vooral bij hem! Hele lieve man die voor alles in staat is en je met alles wil helpen.

This South Africa trip truly exceeded every expectation and will stay with me forever. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully planned, seamless, and filled with unforgettable moments.

Samantha Casolaro, our host, was absolutely amazing! So organized, supportive, and genuinely invested in making sure every single person felt comfortable, included, and taken care of. You could tell how much heart she puts into what she does, and it made such a difference in the overall experience.

Our guides, Big G and TK, were equally incredible. Their knowledge, energy, and passion for South Africa brought every place we visited to life. They made us feel safe, informed, and excited at every step, while also keeping things fun and relaxed. Whether it was long travel days, adventures, or just laughing together, they handled everything with professionalism and warmth.

Beyond the itinerary, what made this trip so special were the connections. Deep conversations, shared laughs, dancing, and memories that feel bigger than just a vacation. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’m so grateful for Samantha who made it possible.

I cannot recommend this trip & host enough. If you’re even considering it, DO IT.
