I had an incredible experience on my 10-day Japan tour with Feel Free Travel. The itinerary was packed, allowing us to explore so many different parts of Japan and really get a feel for the country's culture, food, and atmosphere.

One of the highlights was definitely seeing Mount Fuji - we were so lucky with the timing and it made for a truly unforgettable day. There were also so many fun moments throughout the trip, especially our karaoke nights, which brought everyone together and created such a great vibe!

What really made the trip stand out though, was the group and our leader Charlotte. She brought amazing energy from start to finish, made every moment fun, and always made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. She played a huge part in making the trip as enjoyable and memorable as it was!

The accommodation throughout was great as always with Feel Free, and everything was organised which made it easy to relax and enjoy every experience.

This was actually my third trip with Feel Free Travel, and it definitely won't be my last! I'd also recommend potentially spending a couple of extra days in Japan before or after the tour to explore even more of what the country has to offer.

Overall, it was a truly memorable trip that I'd recommend to anyone.

I recently returned from my Feel Free trip to Sri Lanka, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Our guide, Ian, did an absolutely fantastic job and made the trip truly special. A big thank you also goes to our driver, Mangala, who always kept a perfect overview of everything, making us feel safe and well taken care of at all times.

For me, the itinerary was the perfect mix of a varied, exciting program and free time to just relax and take it all in. I really enjoyed every minute of my time in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

Japan was a perfect balance between giving us structure and letting us explore. Charlotte always suggesting the best recommendations, with a coffee in hand at all times 🤣

Such an amazing way to see Sri Lanka! having Ian as a guide makes for an amazing, unforgettable trip with every detail taken care of.

Really enjoyed the tour! So much variety between culture, local experiences and and fun activities. Our tour leader Ian was the perfect addition, knowledgeable and a great person 😀😀😀 have already recommended him as a guide to friends!

Overall, this was a good tour, but it ended up being my least favourite so far.

There was quite a lot of free time built into the itinerary. I know some people really enjoy that flexibility, but personally, I choose group tours so I don’t have to plan or think about what to do next. A lot of that free time ended up being spent shopping, which wasn’t really what I was looking for.

What stood out to me is that there were optional activities available - like the plate-breaking and remaking experience -that could have easily been included in the tour itself, especially considering the price. Adding more structured activities like that would have made a big difference and created a more immersive experience.

I also felt that including Takayama in the itinerary was somewhat unnecessary. While it’s a nice place, the main activity there was a meditation session which could have been done elsewhere. A destination like Hiroshima might have added more cultural and historical depth to the trip and felt like a more meaningful use of time.

Another thing I would have appreciated is more meals planned together as a group. I understand that this can be logistically challenging, but having more shared dining experiences would help bring the group together and enhance the overall experience.

That said, the highlight of the trip was definitely Charlotte our tour leader. She was an absolute queen full of energy, laughter, and positivity. She made a real effort to engage with everyone, share stories and genuinely connect with the group. Having someone like her leading the tour really elevated the experience.

In summary, a good tour with great leadership but I would have preferred less free time, more included activities and a slightly more meaningful itinerary.

My best friend and I have always wanted to go to Japan and this has been an incredible way to experience the country in a short space of time. Our group leader Charlotte was incredible, she is the most selfless, kind and charismatic person and honestly the best person to lead the tour (especially as she is mostly powered by quadruple shots of caffeine). This was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend taking should the opportunity arise.

A special shoutout goes to our tour guide, Charlotte, who truly made the journey exceptional. She quickly became a natural part of the group, was always ready to listen to our questions and concerns, and brought so much fun, warmth, and positive energy to the entire experience.

The hotels throughout the trip were excellent, very clean, and comfortable.

The route offered a great balance of cultural highlights and modern city life. Personally, I felt that given the travel time, skipping Takayama could have allowed for an extra day in Hiroshima or Tokyo, perhaps for a day trip to Hikone or Kamakura, but that is just a personal preference. A slightly longer itinerary, around 15 days, might also help create a better balance and allow for a more complete experience.

The activities were incredibly fun and diverse. The tea ceremony was definitely a highlight, offering a calm and authentic cultural experience. The sushi making class and the evenings out in Golden Gai were fantastic and catered to everyone’s tastes.

That said, the itinerary could have been organized more efficiently.
At times, there was too much unstructured time and in my opinion too much free time, which made it feel like we weren’t able to experience as much as we could have. Including e.g., highlights such as Kinkaku-ji in Kyoto, Gōtoku-ji in Tokyo, or even more hands-on activities like making traditional chopsticks would have added great value.

One small downside was that restaurants in Japan are often quite small, which meant we could not always dine together as a full group. This sometimes led to the group splitting up, but it did not take away from the overall experience.

Moreover, we unfortunately did not get a FF t-shirt as on the other tours. FF team what about designing one with Mount Fuji on it ???

Everyone in the group was open minded and friendly, and I definitely found my travel buddies on this trip. We shared so many great moments and had an amazing time together.

From breathtaking views of Mount Fuji in peaceful surroundings to the vibrant, bustling energy of Shibuya, this trip truly had it all.

Amazing from start to finish. Great activities included and so well organised! Loved being able to just switch off completely knowing Jake had it all under control. Would 100% book another tour in the future!

The tour was truly incredible. I’ve never had such a stress-free experience while travelling, while also taking part in loads of fantastic activities I’d otherwise miss or overlook when travelling myself. I truly got to relax and enjoy all Thailand had to offer while making loads of amazing new friends on the way! Our tour leader, Jake, was informative and always available to help and do whatever was necessary to make sure everyone had the best time. Additionally, he did so with such a positive and friendly attitude that made him feel like one of the group. Fantastic team and experience. I honestly don’t have a bad word to say, I had the time of my life. 100% would recommend this to anyone wanting to travel or meet new people! Thank you FeelFree, I hope to be back again!

Was my first feel free trip and had the best time!! Everything was so well organised, and we managed to seamlessly hit all the main spots and tourist attractions whilst having plenty of free time. Huge shoutout to both Charlotte and Matt for not only being such great teams leads and support for the trip, but bringing the group together so well that we always had great fun wherever we went. I honestly don’t even know where to start with the Feel Free Japan trip with Matt and Charlotte… it was just incredible from beginning to end.
From the moment we arrived, everything was so well organised but still felt relaxed and fun. Matt and Charlotte made the whole experience unforgettable — they’re not just great guides, they genuinely care about everyone having the best time. They created such a welcoming, positive vibe that it felt like travelling with a group of friends rather than being on a tour.
Japan itself completely blew me away. Every day was something new — from the energy of the cities to the peaceful temples, the food (which was unreal!), and all the little cultural experiences you just wouldn’t get travelling alone. It was the perfect balance of sightseeing, activities, and free time to explore.
I was also lucky enough to celebrate my 30th birthday while I was out there, and Matt and Charlotte went above and beyond to make it so special. It’s something I’ll never forget — they really made me feel celebrated and made the day unforgettable.
What really made the trip special though was the people. The group dynamic was amazing, and I’ve come away with so many great memories (and friendships) that I’ll never forget.
If you’re even slightly thinking about doing this trip — just do it. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’d go back and do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I had a really memorable experience on my Vietnam tour and would definitely recommend it. Tu, our leader, was incredible. He is so friendly, he created such a welcoming atmosphere and always made an effort to make sure everyone felt comfortable and included. His energy and attention to detail made a big difference to the overall experience.

The activities were well thought out and offered a great balance of culture, fun, and downtime, so it never felt rushed or overwhelming. It was a genuinely enjoyable trip from start to finish. Every day felt meaningful in its own way and I made some very special memories.

Tu was very lovely too and and really wanted to make sure everyone is feeling good at all times. I can’t thank him enough for his kindness and support when I was sick! 🫶🏻 Even though I struggled with some health issues in Vietnam I felt so well supported from both my group leaders and the company, so I never felt alone with any problems that might occured. I had an incredible and truly unforgettable 9 days in Thailand led by the wonderful Elle and Em.

From start to finish everything was seamless and so well organised. The balance between activities and free time is just right and travel days are split it up well with lots of pit stops and secret activities, so it doesn't feel like a slog.

Elle was an absolute dream tour leader. Dancing on tables in the club to get the party going, taking great photos of everyone and dealing with my antics - there's nothing she can't do! She was a friend to everyone in our group and I couldn't imagine doing the tour without her.

If you're deciding between the 9 and 15 day tour then definitely go for the 15 days if you can. I was the only one in our group doing the 9 days so it was very sad to leave all my new friends behind and watch them continue on without me.

I'll be booking again with Feel Free in the future for sure 🇻🇳

I have just had the best 2 weeks in Thailand just before heading to Vietnam(combo trip).
Elle, our leader for the trip was amazing made sure everyone was getting involved in all the activities and making it so much fun along the way!

I had originally booked the Vietnam package for last year, but due to unforeseen family circumstances, I had to postpone my trip by a year. During that difficult time, Feel Free were incredibly supportive and accommodating, which really reassured me that I’d made the right decision booking with them.

Fast forward a year, and after spending two unforgettable weeks exploring Vietnam and Cambodia, I can confidently say I couldn’t recommend this trip highly enough.

Our guide, Andy, was exceptional—friendly, organised, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had the best possible experience. The variety of activities was outstanding, from boat trips and scenic cycling to local cooking classes and fascinating cultural and historical excursions. Every day brought something new and memorable, Angkor Wat was definitely the highlight!

I had an amazing time on the Feel Free Travel Vietnam trip it was the perfect balance of activities, social time, and free time to explore.

A massive shoutout to Tu, who was an incredible tour guide throughout. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great time and felt safe. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his energy really brought the whole group together.

I’d 100% recommend Feel Free Travel to anyone thinking about doing Vietnam, especially if you get Tu as your guide!

The only point of feedback was that the local guides could have been better… I feel like I saw a lot of Vietnam without actually learning much about the history., specifically the wars. The day at the tunnels focussed mainly on traps and how the Vietnamese hid from US soldiers without covering why the war started in the first place.

This whole experience was amazing! From THE BEST guide ever (Elle) to the super thoughtful and well planned out excursions and stops along the trip. Action packed mixed with relaxation and beauty... couldn't have asked for a different experience!

Wow, this trip was incredible!! Thank you so much Elle and Em for your hard work and dedication on the Thailand 15 day tour! Everything was organized and stress free to the max! My only heads up would be to make sure you know the requirements for internal flight bag size before packing for this trip. I overpacked accidentally, but Elle gave great advice on how to condense my suitcases and how to approach both the train and flight transport with my bags. The airport and train transport went smoothly, we did not have to wait for transport anywhere. It was seamless! Also, in terms of packing, it is easy to do laundry as well on the trip, when it is offered. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good mix of culture, adventure, and amazing connections!
Every day Elle would explain the schedule for the following day, and in case we forgot, she would always send a helpful text the night before so we knew what to expect!
What stood out to me was her charismatic nature, support, and how she could adjust to the needs and wants of the group. Elle also gave us a heads up to bring anti nausea pills for curvy roads, she would send the location of when and where to meet and what to pack for the next day.
Having Em as well was a great addition to the group! She was an extra safety net for our group, took amazing pictures of us, bought local snacks for us to try, and Em kindly helped me plan the rest of my time in Chiang Mai after the tour!
