This was a once in a life time trip! Our tour guide Olman was absolutely amazing, he made us feel safe and like we could ask him anything- he went above and beyond for our group and really made this trip the best experience he could. I would highly recommend this trip if you like beaches, mountains, animals and just having fun with amazing views!

I’ve just had the most incredible trip to Costa Rica with Plotpackers, and I can honestly say it was everything I hoped for and more! From start to finish, the experience was so well-organised, exciting, and full of unforgettable moments.

A huge shoutout to our amazing guide, Olman – he truly made the trip special. His knowledge and guidance for the trip was incredible. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcome and included, and you could tell he genuinely cared about each person having the best time.

One of the biggest highlights for me was celebrating my birthday on the trip – I’ve never had a birthday like it! Plotpackers made it feel so personal and memorable, and it’s something I’ll never forget.

I’d have to say Manuel Antonio was my favourite organised time in the trip but my favourite unorganised activity has to be a toss up between La Leona and the bungee jumping.

If you’re thinking about booking with Plotpackers – do it. You’ll meet incredible people, see the most beautiful places, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Hugo was the best tour guide for our Colombia trip. Because he was a local he always knew the best places to eat and visit which just made the trip even more enjoyable. He was so knowledgeable about most (if not all) of the places we visited and gave us detailed history too. The trip was just amazing and I can’t thank Hugo enough!! The itinerary that plotpackers put together was very good, each day we had something planned and at such a good price too. Would really recommend!

The trip was great! A good variety of relaxing and action-packed activities. Our guide, Hugo, was incredibly caring, warmhearted and funny. You knew you could always count on him and his recommendations for food or optional activities were spot on. Would definitely recommend!

The lack of transparency in this company is alarming... not really sure what you are even actually paying for because close to nothing is actually included and you will have to shell out a lotttt of out of pocket money for all the additional activities and meals. This was my second trip with the company and I promise I will never book with them again. Their itinerary is so vague with their wording and lacks so much detail that you really dont even know what you are getting yourself into and that way they are able to keep their policy of not being responsible when things change or go wrong. The lack of accountability and action, the lack of supportive tour guides, I could really go on and on. Youre better off just booking everything yourself locally

I just finished the Bali Bound trip with Gina and she was such an amazing tour guide! The itinerary was unreal and the group was unreal! Had the best 12 days ever!!!

I went to Peru with Sandra from plotpackers. This was my first time travelling in a group where I’ve never met anyone but I am so grateful I decided to do this. Not only was Peru so magical, I learnt so much about their culture and history thanks to Sandra and other guides we met during our time. I felt comfortable from the start thanks to the detailed itinerary and packing list provided by plot packets. Sandra specially went above and beyond to make this a life changing trip and because of this, I look forward to travelling with plot packers again. Thank you so much!

I had the time of my life in Peru! Our plotpackers leader was Sandra Velazquez, and if I could give her 10 big stars, I absolutely would. On top of being so positive, knowledgeable & funny, she went above and beyond to make sure our crew was well taken care of. Her kind and adventurous heart amplified this trip to be one of the best ones ever!

Sandra was the best guide! She is super knowledgeable and also so personable she felt like a friend and wanted to enjoy the experience with all of us. It was super smooth because of her and she was super organized. The experience wouldn’t have been the same without her!

As for plot packers, for the price of the trip I think more meals should have been included

Olman was our guide throughout our trip to Costa Rica with plotpackers. He was so friendly, new the locals everywhere we went and gave great recommendations.
I’ve never gone on such a big trip away on my own before but felt safe the whole time I was there. Amazing memories! Amazing group of new people :)
If you’re an adventure lover this is definitely for you. Quite a lot of money as you might expect with some activities (like quad biking and surfing) being extra costs but these are expenses I happily payed for to make sure I was safe but also could try things that I have always wanted to do!

Both Mai and Layla were incredible! They both went above and beyond to make sure you were having the best time possible! They were there for you if you had an issue, provided information and suggestions for free time. They never failed to make sure that everyone in the group was each, individually taken care of and treated the same. I couldn’t recommend enough!

I had an amazing time on my trip to Vietnam with Plotpackers, hosted by Cody and Ellie. Nick, our local guide was exceptional and went above and beyond to create an incredible trip for the group. Highly recommend Nick as a guide. Cody and Ellie were so lovely and I would definitely travel with them again.

I feel more lunches & dinners could have been included within the trip cost, as well as the caves excursion. Especially because Vietnam is a more affordable country to visit and breakfasts were included by the hostel room cost anyways. I also feel more could have been spent on hostels and the final sleeper bus to upgrade them due to their low cost.

Plotpackers communication could have been better, they were slow to reply to emails and I believe should have a number to call and emergency number for the Uk office. The group chat was created late which meant it was difficult to coordinate flights and accommodation before or after the trip with other travellers. I also would have appreciated knowing the name of the first hostel further in advance so I could book an additional night before. This was worrying ahead of the trip and could have been much smoother.

We could have done with another night in Hoi An and prehaphs advice to add the Ha Giang Loop on to our trip before or after, or even include it in the trip costs!

Overall I had a great trip but was concerned about the communication with Plotpackers UK team.

Wayan Sandi was the best guide! He was always on hand for any questions and taught us all about the history of Bali/Indonesia and the culture. I’ve had the best time in Bali!

Our host Emma Matthews was lovely and made me feel very welcome.

The trip itself was very well organised and seamless. Sandi would give us a message the night before a trip to let us know timings, what we’re doing and what to bring. I found this very easy to follow and it was a very hassle free trip.

I would recommend Plotpackers and Wayan Sandi!

I loved my Costa Rica PlotPackers trip! My group consisted of nearly all solo travellers and we all made friends so quickly. Our tour guide Olman was amazing and I already know I want to do another PlotPackers trip. The only thing I would bear in mind is that A LOT of stuff isn’t included and you have to pay for. On the website it says “some meals” are excluded but to be clear, EVERY meal is excluded apart from one lunch and in most places you will pay to eat out (looking at $15 a meal) I was already aware that things would cost extra because I read reviews, but others in my group were surprised at how many activities weren’t included as well as the prices for some of these activities. La Leona waterfall hike was AMAZING and the best thing we did, but the hike again implies this is a free optional activity and doesn’t require extra. We saw amazing things on the trip and I particularly enjoyed seeing all the wildlife and scenery as well as the adventure day (I did optional activities such as ATV riding, Tarzan swing and the Monteverde suspension bridges). We loved the beaches particularly and it would have been good to maybe start at the beach, move inland, and then finish with the beach however we really appreciated how Jam-packed our itinerary was and that we were able to see lots of different points in Costa Rica in a short space of time.
I would recommend PlotPackers to anyone 19-25 who wants an amazing holiday and an unforgettable experience!

I had such an amazing experience with Plotpackers on the Bali trip! Everything was organized and unforgettable. What truly stood out, though, was our incredible tour guide, Sicilia Rosario. She went above and beyond to ensure we were all taken care of every step of the way.

Unfortunately, I had to leave the trip early due to a death in my family, and Sicilia’s support during that difficult time was something I’ll never forget. She personally arranged all of my travel from Gili T back to Bali, making the process absolutely seamless. She ensured I had help at every leg of the journey, and her compassion gave me peace of mind when I needed it most. I can’t thank Sicilia enough! Highly recommend this company and especially Sicilia if you’re considering a group trip!
