Tried to call their hotline multiple times, no response! Tried to reach thru PLDT Cares on Messenger, Still no response 😡😡😡

I hope you improve yoyr customer service first before profits! Damn capitalists!

I am warning those who plan to apply for PLDT you better to find a diff internet service provider!!!

After 9 years with PLDT

After 9 years with PLDT, I’ve decided not to return not because of the service alone, but because of the customer support experience.

Since December 2025, I’ve been going back and forth to the Mandaue branch just to request full disconnection. Despite settling all dues and complying with requirements, the process was frustrating and poorly handled.

What stood out most was the lack of professionalism, staff were unapproachable, argumentative, and failed to clearly explain concerns. Today was the final straw, as I was met with intimidation and conclusions about my account without even proper verification.

This experience made the decision final: I won’t be going back.

Only taken 3 weeks and still waiting for my router apparently the one they gave the could not find on their system So if I did not keep calling I would be without. Tech have no concept of time which I do realize it a Philippine custom no respect for individuals time but a company having that attitude

Long review of why PLDT is such an dumpster fire of a ISP

If i could rate a 0 zero or a negative review, i would, this internet has the WORST latency i can think off, its inconsistent when playing games, it take A WHILE to load, and it has outages that makes brownouts in provinces look like a baby! if its not having an outage it lags with inconsistent ping/ms, and dont bs me with "were fixing things and will be back shortly!" Its been almost a week and the internet is still slow! what is this company man? i get the fact that you have alot of subscribers but that doesnt mean you can improve your servers, people here are complaining about your service that you BARELY deliver and make us waste money by subscribing to higher tiers of your service, look Pldt, your service needs FIXING and that fixing HAS to be fast, i know your a greedy company that only wants money, but come on, have some freaking dignity for your customers! they dont just pay you just so you could deliver a internet speed comparable to a pigeon delivering a letter to someone! your outages/slow speed internet happens consistently and its making me and the other customers frustrated! people cant afford other internet also so they go to the cheapest option which is you, and what do they got? an mbps slow or halved the promise that your plan/payment delivers!

On my end when we have a asynchronous class/meeting it always disconnects and stutters, its heavily annoying because my education RELIES on it, but noooooooooooo your wifi just has to be shit all of a sudden, what about the other students that also experience the same problem huh? oh thats right, you probably dont care because you take too long or you dont fix the problem! as i said, is almost been a week and i switched to my mobile data and it works better than your wifi!

I tried every speed testers i can think off, Ookla, Fast.com Speedtestcustom, and even the built in chrome speed testers and it says here "Your Internet speed is fine. Your Internet connection should be able to handle streaming an HD video. If multiple devices are streaming video at the same time, you may run into some slowdowns." And sometimes it even says its slow! your internet also sometimes has its latency really low and then suddenly it rises up like a rocket blasting into the atmosphere and then blowing up scattering its pieces to the ground over and over again! its annoying when it does that.

Overall just get a different ISP, theres so much better options (Globe, Converge, Etc.), but its likely that ill stay here and other people because we cant afford other Internet services due to its price, but if you can, get a different one, not this garbage pile of burning trash.

Scammer company!

What went wrong? Well almost everything! First of all, we paid P1799/month for unlimited data and a speed of 300 MBPS! We got maybe unlimited data, but a speed in loong periods on 5 MBPS! So what happend to the other 295 MBPS? PLDT`s customer service is very arrogant and basically hopeless to talk with. They doesn`t even have personal customer service in the island that we live. The 1 star given is only because its not possible to give zero. PLDT is profesional scammers, So please stay faar away from PLDT. They steel your money and then dont care about you as a customer!

Too large to fail

We have been repeatedly deny to open a new account with PLDT since they are converting the building to fiber optic and have been doing so for half a year already without any end in sight! We have repeatedly asked them to at least open a copper wire account for us so we can have proper internet access in our shop but they never bothered to care about us in any way following the "we are too large to fail" approach of unreachable corporations.

If I can rate PLDC -1000 stars. I would do it, unfortunately minimum is 1. Very frustrating to get repairs, always offline, customer support isn't helpful, no updates during repairs, this ISP comes out from the gates of hell itself!!!

PLDT doesn’t even deserve one star; they are the worst. There should be a zero-star option. I’ve been a subscriber for over a decade and I always pay on time, yet the only thing I get from them is stress.

Dogshow

I chatted with their representative using PLDT Cares on Messenger. I provided concerns and everything. Rep created a ticket. Then I made a follow-up the next day since the ticket was scheduled on that day, another agent verified that the ticket provided was intended to another customer. See how their customer support is. They are all stupid. Worst customer service.

They will ask for personal NUMBER AND NAME. Then eventually they cannot assist further because of their policy. WTF!!!

To PLDT Management,

I am writing this open letter as a concerned and frustrated customer.

We trust your company to provide stable and reliable internet service because we pay our bills on time. Internet today is no longer a luxury — it is a necessity. It is used for work, online business, school requirements, communication, and important transactions. That is why it is deeply frustrating when the service we pay for is not delivered properly.

Our connection problems started after Typhoon Emong. We reported our loss of internet connection on August 10, 2025. Your system kept telling us that our account was “ACTIVE,” yet our modem was showing a red LOS (Loss of Signal). For months, we had no internet connection, yet we were continuously billed more than ₱2,000 per month.

Even without service, we still paid ₱2,000+ on October 6, hoping the issue would finally be resolved. Our connection was only restored on October 17.

Then in November, after Typhoon Uwan hit our area, the same issue happened again. No internet. Modem on LOS. We repeatedly reported this through PLDT Cares. Again, agents said our account was “ACTIVE.”

We were then asked to pay ₱3,800+ for October and November — months when we barely had service.

By January, we were asked to pay ₱3,735 again for services that were not properly used.

Yesterday, our internet was disconnected due to late payment. We paid again this morning. Until now, we still do not have internet connection. We have been following up since morning. In our latest conversation, an agent abruptly cut off the chat while we were explaining our concern — even though we did not use any offensive language.

This is not the first time that an agent ended the conversation while we were raising complaints.

We understand that technical problems and typhoon damage can happen. However, customers deserve transparency, accountability, and fair billing. When service is down for weeks or months, it affects our income, our responsibilities, and our daily lives.

What customers ask for is simple:

• Improve response time for technical concerns
• Provide clear and honest service updates
• Investigate accounts properly before billing
• Compensate customers fairly for prolonged outages
• Strengthen customer support accessibility and professionalism

We are not asking for perfection. We are asking for the quality of service that matches what we are paying for.

We remain hopeful that PLDT will take customer concerns seriously, correct billing errors, and improve how customers are treated.
