The eSIM does not work

The eSIM does not work. Requires verification of identity which says that you need a code, but no code arrives so it is impossible to verify anything. This is not a cheap esim so don’t waste your money and use Ubigi instead as this worked perfectly. There is also no customer service email or contact number so they basically take your money and then leave you with no assistance. Horrible company!!

Traveller eSim

I paid for the traveller eSim. I had a number of issues trying to activate the sim. It then stopped working after a couple of days. No way to contact them to ask for help. Complete waste of money for my trip, avoid using this provider.

Globe appear to be so arrogant to think…

Globe appear to be so arrogant to think they know what customers want without actually finding out if what they offer is best for them and the customers. The whole ethos seems to be adding additional stuff no one really wants like points free stuff when we all know nothing is free. Globe this Globe that. You need to have a masters degree in corporate bullshit to understand even the basic offerings. I can't even tell them directly how I feel because they make it almost impossible to contact an actual human. I've been a shareholder and sold up because they have lost the idea of what they are. Just keep it simple let people understand what they are buying, stop continually changing stuff, no one cares, the want a phone they can call people on, surf internet and receive messages, simple. Not 20 different plans no one has a clue what they are buying or what's best for them. They want home broadband ideally unlimited simple. Just get back to basics please and make it easier for customers to contact you.

I have been using their service for almost six years now and I have never had any issues with the internet. It is been reliable and fast. Good job with that.

However, they don’t have realtime customer support. It would be much more convenient if they offered a live chat option instead of relying solely on telephone support. It is soo old school.

No customer service worth talking about, impossible to contact except through Facebook where you have to wait for hours for an automated response, can only pay through GCash. Don't even have a website with customer support, just keep referring you to a crappy App. Can't even provide an invoice for their over charges? The worst Telco ever, pick someone else to deal with

Thieves & cheats

Thieves & cheats. After 6 years they just cancel my phone service with no notice and no warnings. They don't send a text, they don't send an email. Your phone just stops working (which means phone banking, Lazada, Grab, everything that needs a PIN number also stops working).
They keep all the money you had loaded on that number, and tell you to buy a new number. No thank you.

This is my first time applying for a…

This is my first time applying for a fiber service, and this is the only place I can leave a review.

I had someone assist me in registering for GFiber. After 2–3 days, I received a call from a technician who came to do a survey. They said they needed to check if there was a Globe box nearby and promised to update me the next day. But after that, I never received any updates. They only called me once, but that was after a week or so, and I was busy at the time, so I asked if they could reschedule for the next day or in the afternoon. They agreed, but they never came, never called, and never even sent a text.

At that point, almost 3 week had passed without any updates. I was still receiving Globe messages about who my technician would be, along with their phone numbers. Another week went by—I tried calling them, but they never picked up, and they didn’t reply to my texts. Thankfully, the person who initially assisted me was kind enough to keep in touch the whole time. But a couple more days passed, and it was still the same thing—no replies, no updates. I even texted them saying, “If wala talaga, pa-cancel na lang po,” because if they don’t cancel on their end, I won’t be able to get a refund for my upfront payment.

Almost a whole month passed without updates. Finally, the person who assisted me escalated the issue (for no-shows, no updates, no replies, no pick-ups, and no installation in a day as promised) to what I assume was their boss. (They said we're being a priority) It still took about 4 more days. At that point, I had already lost hope and was planning to call customer service myself. Coincidentally, right when I was about to do that, they finally called and said they would connect the GFiber. Thankfully, they did.

However, after installation, I don’t know if it’s standard procedure, but they took the manual and didn’t teach me how to use the GlobeOne app to change the Wi-Fi password or manage billing. They just left after saying, “It’s all good.” On top of that, we even gave them money for merienda.

I’m honestly very disappointed. If they hadn’t shown up today, I would have definitely left a very negative review on their app or website(I'm still gonna..)—if I ever figure out how to do that.

How bad your device can be?

How can a service be this disgraceful, how can a company be totally incapable to providing a good service?

I crossed half of the country and used Globe and Smart. Globe has a better signal than Smart (Smart is a total tragedy) but this doesn't make Globe any better.

Just to give you an example. El nido, Palawan, the hottest tourist spot of the country.

You would expect an amazing Globe coverage, wouldn't you? Oh no, not at all. Most of the time I had 0 signal, and when I say 0, it means that the line was totally dead that I couldn't receive a call or a text message.

Unfortunately for Filipinos there are not better competitors. What a scam Globe. The only big one and the biggest disappointment.

Unethical practices

I have been requesting them to cancel my service since April 2024 as I do not live in the Philippines anymore and they have ignored my emails and their customer service reps just give me the runaround whenever I contacted them via messenger. Now, they are threatening to take me to court for non-payment. I am not worried because I have all the evidence but are they seriously not worried about a possible class action against them? It seems many people are being mistreated by this company

They've been great at marketing their supposed customer-centricity, but as a customer who's been on the receiving end of their very poor network and customer service, I beg to differ.

They should simply channel their from PR to actually making their network good.
For 30 years now, the street I live in (which is in NCR) has no service.

GLOBE THE WORST SERVICE I’ve EVER SEE

The worst service I've ever seen. I pay 1699 PHP for 200 MB, but it doesn't even reach 30 MB. I've been without internet for three days and no one resolves it. I've contacted the chat support several times and the service is terrible. They schedule a technician who never shows up, don't provide a service request number, and cut the call in the middle of the explanation.
