Delicious easy to prepare meals. Been having Panthood for the last 4 weeks and every meal has been lovely. Good variety of meals to choose from on a weekly basis.

Love that some of our meals are meat free as feel we eat too much meat. Also cooking with foods I’ve not eaten before and enjoying them. Lots of variety and healthy meals which are quick and easy to prepare.

It’s fantastic not to have to think about what you’re making and really looking forward to a delicious, nutritious and easily prepared evening meal. The ordering process is really easy also.
Overall a thoroughly great experience!

We tried Planthood with the main aim of having more vegan food in our diet without having to find our way around dairy free ingredients and recipes ourselves. It achieved that fully from the outset with delicious flavoursome meals. The added benefit of not having to spend lots of time and energy deciding what to have for dinner, buying ingredients and spending lots of time preparing was an added benefit and a real bonus! We're in it or the longterm now and so pleased we tried it.

The food is incredibly tasty - I'm really impressed by how flavoursome each dish is. Usually very easy to prepare, but also full of fresh, healthy ingredients. I love it!

I have been using planthood off and on for several months and all the meals are great. I am not plant based but the meals looked so good I wanted to try them and haven’t been disappointed. I could easily go plant based if I ate their meals all the time . I’ve tried many recipe boxes and prepared meals and would choose planthood out of all of them. Only slight downside is that sometimes the vegetables don’t seem the freshest and can go bad before end of the week.

Love my subscription; the sauces are absolutely delicious, and the dishes are pretty straightforward to put together. Healthy eating made simple- thanks, PH! :)

Planthood customer service is brilliant and their food is phenomenal. I can confidently order meals knowing that they will be restaurant quality. The sauces and topping are better than any other food I’ve ever had including highly regarded restaurants. Even better, I get to play a little part in cooking it. I love cooking and eating great food, so this is the ideal option for me! I order 3 meals every week and as they are just for me, I refrigerate or occasionally freeze for another day. If I am expecting guests, I order extra meals. It’s really flexible that way.

Food is delicious. Flavours all work well together. The sauces that accompany the meals are restaurant quality. I started with a trial offer but will continue to use as I enjoy the recipes.

By far the best recipe food boxes. Delicious meals my family enjoyed, excellent quality ingredients, we won’t be ordering from anywhere else now.

Also their customer care was amazing, I needed to change something and they went above and beyond.

Great product but pricing not transparent - cancelled because I realised I never got an email receipt confirming what I had been charged and when. Then logged in to find it looked like my second box was going to be charged at full price even though I signed up under the "30% off for your first 4 weeks" offer.

Fantastic, easy to make, delicious plant-based food. Much better than the frozen plant-based meals available from other sources (I have tried them all). Definitely recommend, as I am a rubbish cook and manage to create the meals that look very similar to the pictures on the recipe instructions.

I thought I would give Planthood a try, out of curiosity and as a change from my regular food delivery box. Well, I absolutely love it. I’m not vegan, my family and I are meat eaters (myself less so) but we all love the Planthood meals. I love the flavours, the creativity and the value for money - I find that the meals for 2 can stretch to 4 portions. So one meal for 2 can serve all 4 of us, or I can double up and eat for lunch the next day. Plus, because there’s no meat, the shelf life is much longer. I love the choice of add-ons too. I just love it all!!!!

I ordered as it said my first box free, then I would get 4 boxes at 30% off. The free box did not exist even though it stated allb3 reciepes free on order.
It costs £36 with 30% discount i added up the ingredients separately, if I purchased myself it came to £21 as had to make it yourself anyway. Total rip off

On trying
The this curry sauce I would purchase this sauce from them really nice. the other 2 recipes one was awful it tasted of vinegar and the other was bland and dry.
We had green beans with black on them, a carrot that was floppy.
Wasted a lot of money and time with this purchase.

Terrible customer service and completely avoidable food waste

Really disappointing experience with Planthood, and ultimately one that has caused us to cancel our subscription.

We received notification of an upcoming delivery shortly before going away for 10 days. As soon as we realised the delivery would arrive while we were away, we contacted Planthood and asked them to cancel it, postpone it or redirect it.

Their response was essentially that we were too late because the order had already passed their internal production cut-off.

We explained that nobody would be at the property for 10 days and that a box of fresh, perishable food would therefore be left outside and ultimately thrown away. Despite this, Planthood said they could not cancel the delivery, redirect it, stop it or refund us. Their suggested solution was that we find a neighbour, friend or relative to take the box instead.

What makes this particularly frustrating is the notification process. If customers need to make changes before a strict production cut-off, surely the reminder should arrive with enough time to actually do something about it. A notification that comes too late to make changes is of very little practical use.

I appreciate businesses have production schedules and cut-off times. What I don’t accept is that there appears to be absolutely no flexibility or escalation process when a customer contacts you promptly and explains that the result will be an entire box of fresh food being left outside for 10 days and going to waste.

After several emails, we were repeatedly given essentially the same explanation rather than a practical solution.

We have now cancelled our subscription. To their credit, Planthood did action the cancellation promptly and confirmed that no further payments or deliveries will be made.

It’s a real shame because we wanted to support the service, but the combination of a poorly timed notification process, inflexible customer service and completely unnecessary food waste has put us off using Planthood again.

Hopefully they review their processes so another customer doesn’t end up in the same situation.

Absolutely incredible meals and honestly the best customer service I’ve ever experienced!

The food is delicious, healthy and full of variety. We paused our Planthood subscription for a while, but we missed the meals so much that we’ve now subscribed again. We’ve tried several meal-plan companies, and Planthood has easily been the best.

Although the meals are plant-based, they’re also very versatile. Because we sometimes struggle to eat enough protein throughout the day, we occasionally add some chicken or another protein alongside the recipes. Everything works beautifully together and still tastes amazing.

Their customer service is exceptional, always helpful, prompt and genuinely there whenever you need them. I’ve never experienced another company that takes such good care of its customers.

I’ve seen a few reviews mentioning delayed deliveries, but it’s important to remember that this is down to the courier companies, not Planthood. Planthood always dispatches the boxes on time and does everything it can to help if a courier causes a delay.

Amazing food, delicious recipes and truly outstanding customer service. I couldn’t recommend Planthood highly enough!

These meals give me a warmth and satiety. It is gourmet food in my home kitchen, and the passion for the recipes they show in the descriptions and instructions is contagious. I make every meal a special event now. They just encourage it with how they talk about food in their write ups of each recipe. You can tell they have put their creative energy and love for sharing food into these meal kits.

Having decided to quit animal agriculture products, I needed something delicious for both myself and my husband, which would allow him the pleasure of food while compromising on eating less meat. We both really enjoy every meal, and he never complains that he misses meat or dairy at all. The portion is always ample. We eat it every bite of it too as its just so good.

I get a glow from these gorgeous sauces and the ingredients that I get to prep to put it all together. We are trying foods from around the world, and many are new experiences that I haven’t had the nerve to cook for myself yet. So I feel like I am actually having a culinary learning experience.

I am dreaming of a recipe book by Planthood, or courses, so I can learn to make the sauces from scratch! There is something special about them.

And all the packaging is recyclable! If you want meal kits with a thorough sustainability effort, this is the best. No plastic pots, all recyclable bags.

The choice each week is always a delight. Cannot wait for our next batch.
