i ordered my dream air and literally got it the next week. had to get a different facial interface to make it more comfortable but other than that the thing is awesome and solid. i have the lighthouse version and couldn’t be happier.

I’ve been using the Pimax Dream Air Lighthouse and, overall, I’m extremely impressed. The image quality is exceptional: the OLED display delivers incredible clarity, deep blacks, beautiful colors, and an amazing level of detail. Combined with the lightweight design and precise Lighthouse tracking, it makes for a fantastic high-end PCVR experience, especially for sim racing.

I also want to highlight Pimax’s customer support, which has been outstanding. Even though I’m located in Colombia, Pimax was extremely kind and helpful throughout my RMA process. They arranged a replacement unit so I could compare both headsets and keep the one I consider to be better. I really appreciate this level of customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

There are two areas I hope Pimax can improve: glare, which is noticeable in some high-contrast scenes, although in my experience it is comparable to the glare I see on my Meta Quest 3, and, more importantly, motion blur when moving my head. The image looks incredible when stationary, but I notice some blur when turning my head, particularly with text and detailed environments. I hope this can be further improved through a firmware update or other optimization.

Despite these issues, my experience has been very positive overall. The Dream Air Lighthouse offers exceptional visual quality, and Pimax’s customer support has been excellent. I’m looking forward to testing the replacement unit and seeing how it compares.

Exellent clear lenses and high res micro-oled screens in a very small form factor.
The resolution, colors and clarity is a joy as a VR enthousiast.
Comfort is good after adjustments, very good experiences with the costumer service. There is a 24/7 chat function for technical assistance in the driver software, wich is amazing.

Nach vielen anderen VR-Brillen bin ich jetzt bei der Dream Air angekommen und bereue nichts!
Es ist so Traumhaft damit zu zocken,sie hat ein gestochen scharfes Display 😃Besser geht es nicht.Ich befeuere sie mit einer RTX5090.Nach einem Upgrade vom Strap und Facial Interface ist sie Ultra Bequem und die Hochgebundenen Kabel merkt man garnicht.Freue mich schon auf das Original überarbeitete Facial Interface.

La experiencia en general ha sido muy buena, las gafas se ven increíble la calidad es bastante aceptable y el servicio post-venga es buenísimo, tanto en mi caso como en el de compañeros creo que ha sido más que bueno, proporcionando soluciones y e incluso cambios de gafas habiendo pasado mucho por mucho el tiempo de prueba de las gafas. De 10!

Get this if you want the absolute best performance in msfs24. Incredible. Needs to be modded for comfort. Would be 5 stars if it was comfortable out of the box.

I really like my Pimax Crystal Light. This is my first VR headset and I bought it strictly for the DCS flight Sim. From my limited experience, I can say I find the headset very comfortable. As far as I can tell I’ve had no lens issues. I’ve had several sessions of 4 to 5 hours with no performance issues. In my opinion, definitely worth the price. I would highly recommend.

The good part is the crispness of the image quality the not as is the fitment to my face and included audio. Even taking off the external speakers my Bose headphones don't sit right. I also had to glue on a double cushion to get the proper face contour and clear screen.

I have a Pimax Crystal Light for 6 months now and it is easy to get it working, the image quality is unbeatable, but it lacks in comfort. You have to expend some money to find a better padding.

My Pimax Crystal Super 50 PPD, has worked flawlesly from the day I installed it (August 2025). With the latest firmware and Play software its even better. I use high settings because I have an RTX 5090 and i9-13900K. It is smooth and stutter free in MSFS2024 on high settings after all the SU updates. Very pleased with the clarity. I may purchase an OLED module when they are freely available.

Pimax has cutting edge technology that suits my flight sim needs perfectly. They continue to innovate constantly. There customer service has been excellent.

Very smooth experience. Great image quality. I use it exclusively for flight sims so I can not tell about other games or expierences, but with DCS, Flight Simulator and Xplane I can tell that I am very satisfied. Pimax Play, the companion software has gone through a lot of improvements what it improves the overall impression. Definitively my next VR headset will be a Pimax one.

Pimax has the best product on the market today! I have bought so many different headsets. I even purchased the Varjo X4 which doesn't even compare to Pimax which is half the price. I have 3 sets of Pimax VR and I love all 3 sets with the Dream Air being my favorite so far. It has made flight sim a great experience every time you play! Keep up the great work Pimax!

I have the Super Crystal Super 50PPD and the OLED plug in. The 50PPD is nice but the OLED is the best I have seen since I bought my Pimax Artisan years ago.
I also have the Meta Oculus 3 and the Samsung Galaxy XR. I have worked with visual systems for simulators since 1989. I can use the Pimax Super Crystal OLED for my car simulator but not for my F18C DOF REALITY H6 platform with Winwing MFD’s, TecCreations F18 HUD and Moza MTLP and AB9 Force feedback stick.The Samsung Galaxy XR combined with the new Passtroughforce software is nice as I need to interact with and see my instruments. I agree with Sebastian at MRTV that Pimax must add Mixed Reality support with cameras that is as good or better than Samsung Galaxy XR, Pimax will have a winner as an add on and life extender for the Crystal Super and naturally for the Dream Air series as a standard feature.

Pimax offers quality visuals and a great application to run VR games easily.

The Pimax Crystal Light isgreat. I transitioned from Quest 3 and I was loving the Quest 3 but the PCL made everything a lot better. The PCL worked fine from the start but using steam was very hard mainly because I didn't understand Steam (still don't).
The Good: area of view, which is very important to me, its great. Once you are inside the game the games look beautiful, inmersive, and are functioning well. At the time I got it several games were not working well or not working at all. When I changed to SteamVR then things worked out well.
Now, everything works well with Pimax openXR. The upgrades to the software, pimax play, have been fantastic. There is one game dearest to my heart, Lone Echo, that was working well but it was too dark. a Beta software 2.0.3 fixed it. For some reason Pimax withdrew it and just recently came back. The tone adjustment to "cooler" fixed the game again. In most games the controls feel great and have never given me any problems except for the way they are structurally made. I also had to change button assigment some times.
Customer service responses are fast but with false hope. When I ordered the new controllers I thought the will come right away but they didn't! Finally one of them told me where they were coming and that there were not available. The reply finally put fome peace inside my soul! (LOL)

The Bad: The controls are fine and great size but there is no access inside them. Recently the usb C plug slided inside in one of them and NO ONE wanted to fix it. I ordered new controllers that took 100 years to arrive in (LOL). Now I use usb c with longer adapter to charge them.
PCL is heavy and for some crazy reason I don't care! My main problem is the band holding them around your head. Its too thin but it works and is not broken yet. I treat my PCL like a piece of valueble jewelry.
There is one game that still doesnt work, Chronos from oculus, I have not idea why.

Overall I love my Pimax crystal light! I planing to buy the "dream inside out." I have not ordered the dream because the reviews are too diverse.

Excellent casque en terme de graphisme. Idéal pour le sim racing. Il y a cependant un effet de flou sur les côtés du regard qui est assez detangeant au début mais j'ai fini par m'y habituer. De plus je trouve que le plastique fait bas de gamme pour le prix. Enfin, il tient énormément chaud et est plutôt lourd. Du coup mes séances de jeu n'excèdent jamais 1h. En bref, très bon casque en terme de graphisme mais il n'est pas exempt de défauts qui peuvent freiner son utilisation.
