Pigeonly has over charged my credit card $25.00 each month for using it’s services. December and January both have fraudulent charges. I have called each time several times and the issue never gets corrected. I have to go through my bank and get them involved in order to get my money back. I’m very disappointed in this situation. When I call the agents are aloof and don’t know what they are doing. I have to repeat my self several times in order for them to understand that they have over charged me. I don’t know why they keep doing this. So irritating.
The concept of using their services are great but it still takes just as long for my loved one to receive mail through them. I kinda feel they are a scam and are making money off people who sign up for this service. Today i’ve called a few times and a recording comes on that the number is not in service at this time!! What the heck??? I’m contacting the BBB I can’t believe Im the only one having these issues. Dissatisfied

Whenever there were delays, it was clear they were due to the facility and completely out of Pigeonly’s control. Any time I reached out with a question, their team responded quickly and honestly, which meant a lot during such a stressful time.

Its fun how you can create your own cards to send thru the app and I was able to send lots of pictures which are really nice quality to my husband. Im sorry to see the facility my husbands in is no longer using the service as of this month. Thanks for a great job for while it was being used.

If I had any questions I contacted them and they answered right away with honest truthful responses. My family member treasured the communication from home and I will always be grateful to this service - they kept me from getting him in trouble and in constant communication. Thank you so much.

It's been 16 days and my loved one hasn't received a single photo yet. I reached out but received a generic reply about delays due to overwhelming orders. Not my issue. I pay for a service that was presented as 3-5 business days. My loved one may be released before they ever receive anything.

So far it’s the best price in apps of this kind to send love to people in prison. The only thing bothers me is the option to send articles is never available. And sometimes takes long time to process an order or even mail it.

Great experience sending greeting cards. For the most part easy to use. Pigeonly mails them quickly to the facility. Once the facility processes the mail. It’s usually a week from the day I submit my order. Worth the money to send your family member some love

I am writing to two people, having been connected with them 10 years ago through a church prison ministry. Pigeonly is good for writing a letter, okay for sending a greeting card (although sometimes the quality has been poor when my pen pal received the card), poor for postcards and completely dysfunctional for sending an article with an Internet URL (both of these last two services have never been working since the service went online). One of my pen pals has never received anything I sent. The prison mailroom sergeant indicated that he is indeed housed in their facility, while Pigeonly lists a different prison in the same state. Pigeonly has never corrected this error.

I can't say enough good about Pigeonly! I am on a fixed income and the extremely affordable fee of $5 is truly appreciated. Everything sent, letters or photos are delivered fast!

This is a cheap and convenient way to stay in touch with loved ones. You can send photos and letters. It’s an excellent way to stay in touch with your inmates. Love this and would use it again.

It’s not the best service, but it’s all we have right now. The postcard option has been “down for maintenance” since I uploaded the app and that was months ago. You’re only allowed so many characters on the letters, and initially the photos were “lost” from a family member. In the beginning the photos were processed and delivered within a matter of days, now it’s taken weeks. When I asked they said it had to do with “equipment” issues. Not that pleased, but again, it’s all we have.
Why would I want to edit it just because they replied with the same thing they have told me by phone? In my option, they’re only using this platform to try and save face. Talking with them by phone is never helpful, representatives never try to help resolve issues, they just have excuses.

This is the the only way i can get mail and pictures to my Husband in Yakima County,WA. For $5 a month its a great deal. I recommend this app to anyone whos trying to stay in contact with an incarcerated loved one.

Huge Value for the $5 per month. I send pictures, one letter, and one greeting card every 3-5 days which is the normal turnaround time for delivery to the facility. We are SO HAPPY with Pigeonly mail service and how easy and convenient it is! My loved one says the Greeting Cards come out well very high quality, and he enjoys them. The letters max out at 5 pages per letter. I have sent up to 20 photos at one time, but I'm not sure if there is a limit. The postcard service has been down for maintenance the entire 4 months we have had the service, which is one drawback, but it isn't enough to make us rate any lower. We just hope it gets up and running again soon so we can check it out. We don't use the phone service because our facility uses a separate service for the phone so don't add money to the phone until you triple check what service your facility uses for the phone.

They have definitely gotten better with fast delivery on photos and cards. Photos have always gotten to my fiancé fast but that cards would take way longer. I’m glad they figured it out tho. It’s nice cause i can send unlimited photos and I love that!!

Although the pictures take a few weeks they make it and in great print. I send notes and just think of you son. These have helped my son make it. Thank you for the great price and best way for me to stay in touch with my only son.
