We have had an amazing experience with picnic so far, from our initial call with Nicola our mortgage broker who has guided us every step of the way, through to us receiving our mortgage offer. The portal is a great way of being able to see what stage you are at, you can maintain communication with the team and book calls in if you need an update. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again

Signed up through go-compare and have…
Signed up through go-compare and have been bombarded with calls and texts. I find this really off-putting and have now blocked the calls. I wouldn't have left a rubbish review, but I did text back to say I was in work and would call back at a time that was appropriate to me. They obviously didn't listen and tried to call again, in the middle of the day.

Useless and annoying
Another website that promises to show you mortgage rates, makes you fill a lot of personal data, doesn't give you any information whatsoever and then annoys you with unscheduled calls (they should now that's considered very rude by today's standards).

They really made it easy
Entering the world of home buying for the first time. I had no idea what to expect. But from the first phone call, everyone at picnic have been welcoming, honest and supportive. The level of detail the put into the first steps makes it really clear what you can borrow and the realistic figure makes it so much easier to search for properties. Everyone I have dealt with have been fantastic. And they made the daunting process an absolute breeze. Their website is fantastic. Makes it so clear what step you are at and if anything is needed. And check in regularly so you are not left wandering what is happening. I would like to thank all staff I have been in contact with and am hoping for a smooth finish to this process as we enter the final stages

First time buyer and have never spoken…
First time buyer and have never spoken to a mortgage adviser before but from my experience it has been so easy, they do all the leg work, and organise a solicitor who pretty much have an identical approach as above. Just had to send the odd document when requested.

Highly recommend! Overall, excellent service - there's a whole team dedicated to you, everything is explained perfectly well, communication seamless. I went to Picnic having had a mortgage application rejected and got moved on by my previous broker. One call with Picnic gave me confidence to do another application and less than 3 weeks later, I got the good news!

Very poor service once paid and do not resolve issues in a timely manner
UPDATE: Since writing the review below and Picnic Mortgages being paid for a service, I have not had my re-mortgage finalised yet due to them not sending the documentation to the Solicitors (which they recommended to me). Please be aware that you are required to pay for the services they have provided as soon as you agree to accept the re-mortgage offer even though the re-mortgage has not been finalised. Once you have paid they take away your ability to book a call with the relevant people if you have a query or issue that needs to be resolved, you can still send a message, however, these are often ignored and I have now made a formal complaint about this company which is being investigated.
Great service provided by all staff at each stage of my re-mortgage process, very friendly, polite and helpful, always available at a convenient time for me if I wanted to speak to someone through the call booking process. Guides were very helpful too and explained everything I needed to know at each stage of the process.

We've been recommending Picnic to everyone we've spoken to since literally our first call with our team. We are first time buyers and, in the past, we've either muddled along ourselves or had less-than great experiences with advisors so the team at Picnic have truly been a dream.

A brilliant experience
