Worst experience ever.
3 months of back and forth, lost out on mortgage offer as forms weren’t submitted in time to mortgage company by the case manager. Communication was shocking after dealing with Matthew (broker). We had 5 different case managers over the 3 months, we constantly had to chase them up, phone calls were booked and we never got a call, messages ignored. Complained to numerous managers and again ignored and nothing resolved. Emails and numbers are on here from managers and when called answered the phone rudely .. if you don’t want your private number to be called don’t have them on public pages for people to contact for complaints.
Managed to get another broker to get us a mortage offer within 3 weeks. Less stress.

Exceptional work ethics displayed
Picnic Mortgages has been the best part of this whole mortgage process, honestly. We finally got our offer through and a huge part of that is down to Nicola Ross.
What stood out most was how she treated us. Every phone call, she never rushed us off, never made us feel like we were just another file on her desk. She has this way of explaining things, breaking down all the jargon into plain English, so by the end of a call we actually understood what was happening with our case rather than just nodding along.
She kept us in the loop constantly. If she was going on leave, she told us in advance so we weren't left wondering. The moment she was back, she was straight on it, checking in and updating us on where things stood. That kind of communication made a genuinely stressful process feel manageable.
No question felt too small or too silly to ask her. She'd take the time, every single time, and at the end of each conversation she'd check we were clear on everything before we hung up. That attention to detail, and to us as people rather than a transaction, is rare.
Her work ethic is exceptional. This was also the case with Emeric, the insurance broker, he was superb. Their dashboard is also very user friendly and easy to navigate so well done to their IT team too.
If you want a smooth ride with your mortgage, this team is the hidden gem.

If you want peace of mind, no hidden fees, fast acting, securing your best offer mortgage you have these guys very knowledgeable, kind and helpful, I got my best offer in no time, however please rest assured they will try to setup things in few days and got you approved ASAP, Faye, Astie, Anton, and all the advisors are great.
