This place is a joke. They are scammers and steal your money. They will refuse to answer emails and phone calls.

I paid for a warranty and the first time that I needed to do a repair which I brought my car to the dealership that I trust and they would not pay the claim. It was not expensive thank goodness. So I paid for it myself.

I called for estimate on a 2014 Bentley before i went to see the car...i gave vin..they told me its a 2 owner car and if i were to leave a deposit before buying it..it would make it cheaper..2nd owner vs 3rd owner...if i didnt buy it.call on monday. We will just refund your money..pfff..after a month of lies...its deposited...cant get a hold of that department...the weather...finally a guy tells me..hey you didnt sign the notarized cancelation form..and you have to wait 60 days...well 60 days coming up...and will be making a former complaint to South Dakota District Attorneys office for consumer fraud...and yes i will travel to SD if it requires me...I am a retired police officer and have plenty of time....

I purchased the best policy Patriot Warranty had to offer in Aug of 2021. My service light came on in Dec. Got the work pre approved before it got started. When it was time to pay, they never responded. I went ahead and paid the bill after 2 months went by,and still not getting through with any one. They had told me at the beginning, as long as the shop was ASE afilliated, or a dealer, they would pay everything but diagnostic and normal wear and tear. I'm very upset, I really trusted them. Well next time I need them, hopefully the shop will get everything in advance first. What sucks now is, I don't trust any one any more. I feel they owe me my money back, since they didn't keep up their end. They don't answer their phone, or return emails. What do I have to do, take them to court? $1200. is a lot of money

This is the worst company in the world. They will steal your money and they will refuse to pay for any repairs.
They did not wanna cover for more than 15% of the cost of the repairs and that was after we and the dealership called them 5 times and being on hold for at least 40 minutes each time.
We tried to get our money back and they did not.
The lady that answered the phone is extremely rude and is useless.
I hope the company closes as they are just stealing peoples money with no service.

BEWARE!!!! This company took our money and would not fix anything on my car. Refused to fix my radiator and promised to refund my money. We have been waiting over a year now. We call and we are put on hold for along time or they won't answer the phone. They say they are mailing out a check that has never arrived. Patriot Warranty is no better than Bernie Madoff that took hard working people for their money. Patriot Warranty is a ponzi Scheme!!! DO NOT TRUST!!!

Impossible to reach anyone and many dealers have stopped taking this. STAY AWAY

Terrable warranty place I wanted my $ back as the policy was never honered. No answeres anywhere.

I purchased this warranty in 2021, I needed a repair on my vehicle. Patriot warranty authorized my claim the begging of January 2022. I am still waiting for my claim check to be mailed out to me almost a month later.
I have called this company the past 3 days, left a message each time, needless to say I have not gotten a phone call back or my claim check. On top of it all my car is still not operable and I have had to call Uber to get to where I have to go every day.

My experience is do not purchase this warranty.

Please beware of the Patriot Warranty Auto Service Contracts. Please note nothing in this review is an opinion, these are facts. No rant involved – just actual results.
Towing- not covered, although covered in contract. Was informed they did not authorize the towing prior to diagnosis. Hard to diagnose the problem until it is towed in. One claim submitted more than 5 times. Still no response. $100 claimed - $0 recovered. Still being told – the check is in the mail.
Diagnosis – not covered. They will not consider a claim unless a diagnosis has been performed, and then do not cover it. We all know that is typically $150.
Authorization – typically takes days. Hope this does not happen on a Thursday or Friday – you will not get any news until after the weekend. Additionally, you must call the company and shop to find out what is going on. You will be asked for ALL service records and photos as well.
Replacement Parts – Patriot will either reimburse the shop (and you) for the price they can buy it for. They will ship the part to the shop, but this takes about a week. Parts are NOT OEM. This has been verified more than once. BTW – I was asked to buy my own parts and bring them to the shop. Patriot claimed they would reimburse me – so I did, but they will not pay me back.
AC repairs – Ouch. Uses non-OEM parts and limited labor paid for. That’s it! No freon, no reimbursement for freon capture, did not even cover the recharge. All the actual steps needed to make a covered repair – are not covered. $875 total - $125 labor and $75 for new condenser covered.
Car Rental – offered but only for the duration of the repair. Your car may be in the shop for three days to a week waiting for Patriot to authorize and send cheap non-OEM parts, but they will only pay for rental of the one day they claim it takes to repair the vehicle. You are on your own here. Four days at $64 per day– they covered one day for $50.
Steering control arms – Relaced using non-OEM parts even through the contract says they only use OEM. Paid half the labor time based on their book. Would not cover alignment. FYI – an alignment is required as part of the repair. Total bill was $587 – Patriot covered $225.
Lastly – Communication. I have been with them for 2 years and filed 4 claims. In all, I have received 4 emails, 0 calls, and just one of the out-of-pocket payments received that were promised. You are forced to call them (weekdays 8-5 only), wait on hold for long periods of time and often get transferred to a ‘supervisors’ voice mail. I am still promised over $250 in payments going for 8 months now. PS – they do not call back either. If you are asked to talk with Jonathan – immediately refuse and ask to speak to someone else.
All in all – you do get the benefit of not pay 100% of the repairs. I have found you get about 15% -20% of most things covered. But after you pay over $1000 in advance AND the enormous amount of personal time – this is a huge waste of your money.
I thought this would give me peace of mind – but now I fear a needed repair more than ever before. It used to be about the money – now it is my time, patience and money. Shame on me, I guess, I trusted them and fell for the scam.
BTW – their address in South Dakota – it is fake. No one is there.

REPORT THEM TO YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE FOR RESTITUTION.
This company is a scam or a ponzi. They currently owe me and the repair shop roughly $1350. This money has been owed since October 2021. I have called several times and been given multiple stories why I haven't received the checks. I found success through filing a complaint with my state Attorney Generals Office. I also contacted abc news Call for Action and was contacted. They emphasized to tell others that have been scammed to contact their state Attorney Generals Office. Do this everyone there is power in numbers to run this company out of business and collect the money due to us!

This company is a Scam Don’t even bother with them. Will not pay for a repair that they say is covered and approved. When you give up with that they will not refund your money even after signing a cancellation contract where it takes 60 business days to receive. Nope no warranty and no refund. Don’t do it.

I purchased a Warranty for my 2015 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special on or about 12/13/20. At the time of the purchase, it was still under the Harley-Davidson Warranty. The bike had just over 111,000 miles. I called Patriot Warranty (they answered right away) and was offered a 4-year Warranty Plan with another 100,000 miles for $1,210.00 with a $0 deductible. I told the Sales Representative that I was a Veteran and the sales representative bragged to me about how they treat Veterans and that they had several Veterans working there. Too good to be true? Yes!
The contract was not all that great. You could submit a claim for $1000.00 every 90 days to a maximum lifetime payout of $5,000.00. My engine rebuild was way over that!
The start date was 01/13/2021, 30 days after I paid for the plan. In May of 2021, my Harley made an unfamiliar sound from the engine area. I stopped the bike. My dealership picked up the bike and several days later (COVID caused some delays) I was informed that the flywheel was bad. Basically, an engine rebuild would be needed. Once the repair estimate was completed, it was sent to Patriot Warranty (P.W.). An email was later received from P.W. requesting 3 YEARS of maintenance records! I am sure that they were surprised when those records were sent to them from the dealership. I had had all of the required services done (every 5,000 miles) because the bike was under warranty. I continued those services after purchasing the warranty from P.W..
Moving forward, the work was completed in July and the completed Work Order was sent to P.W.. The woman that the dealership was working with left the company and no one called to tell the dealership or take over the account. Now the real delays began. Nothing but stalling and from the employees I spoke with (I have all of their names). Finally, on November 10, 2021, I contacted the Account Specialist that Harley Service Department had been started dealing with. He told me (and Harley) that the $1,000.00 would be paid via Corporate Credit Card within 24 to 48 hours (Harley was listening in on this call). Ok. No payment was sent to or received by the Dealership. I called again on Nov 18, 2021, and spoke with a “Customer Service Rep” who assured me that a check had been mailed to the Dealership on Nov 17th. He even provided me with a check number (Harley was again listening in on this call). I waited 10 days then went to the General Manager and asked him to call accounting to look for the check number. After 2 hours, they called back that no check had been received.
Around Dec 10, 2021, I sent an email to the Account Specialist requesting the payment to be made right away. He emailed me back that the Finance Manager will get to work on the file. What? Then, after many phone calls and emails, the Service Department finally got through. P.W. wanted to make 2 x $500 payments! Who does that? A credit card was provided but would not go through. Not enough money on the card? The card was run several times while on the phone with P.W. but would not go through (later P.W. claimed that HD created fraud by running the card 8 times-while on the phone with P.W.). Finally on Dec 23rd, a charge of $500 went through. Now then, I have not been able to get the final $500. I have several email requests and have left over 20 voice mails asking for the payment. I last left a message with their answering service once before and again on 9 Jan 2022.
Here it is, now January 20, 2022 and still no $500.
I only wish that I had read the bad reviews on the Better Business Bureau Website as well as the TrustPilot website. This is a poor example of a company. PW has a clause in the contract to settle disputes through a mediator – in Souix Falls. Mediation would cost more than $500, so, I am posting to several sites, to include Consumer Affairs for Nevada and South Dakota, so that other people can be warned and not use this company. I have plenty of documentation, as does the dealership.
Patriot Warranty is good at taking your money for the "warranty" then stalling, deception and of course, not paying my claim.

This company is a total scam! Bought a 5 Year warranty from Patroit warranty on my 2006 Ford F-350. When a claim was submitted by the repair shop, Patroit gave the woman in the repair shop payment office a different reason they couldn’t pay the claim every time she spoke with them. Jenny the girl at the repair shop said she has never had so much trouble trying to get a claim paid. She finally said she gave up! So guess what! I had to pay for the supposed covered repair myself. I wish some Law Firm would start a Class Action Law suit against Patroit Auto warranty! What a proud moment for Patroit Auto Warranty! They Screwed another customer.

Every person you talk to at this company will tell you something different and their story will change frequently. I got a 5 year highest end warranty these scum bags offer on my Tesla. With it being a Tesla, any warranty conversations are complicated since car has different parts. They told me everything except wear and tear items like tires and breaks were covered.

I filed a claim in September of 2021 (it is now Jan 2022). It was for about $1600 of work. At the time, I was told the entirety of the damages were covered and I would receive a check in the mail for $1600. I haven't received my check in the mail so I called back in today to follow up. It took 3 hours to get someone on the phone and their online system is garbage. It just shows there is a claim with no notes, status, anything. After getting someone on the phone they claimed that they sent a check to me but it got returned. Funny, also funny they never notified me. Then they told me that the new check they are sending me is for $400. I told them that the work was for $1600 and they said majority of things were not covered (remember in September I was told a $1600 check was in the mail and all of it was covered). They refused to send me any documentation or even provide me with a copy of my coverage. No check is coming I am sure. When I then asked to cancel my coverage because this is a scam they told me that they would "send me an email". I was assured i would get a pro rated credit if I cancelled which also appears to be a LIE.

Save your $, go get a real warranty. These people are morons, they lie, they are as rude as can be (one guy was screaming at me on the phone for reading him the paragraph in MY POLICY that stated the items in my claim were covered telling me I was wrong). COMPLETE SCAM!

Horrible! I called to get a quote of a vehicle I was planning on purchasing. I was told I needed to give a $100 deposit to “hold” the quote. I never purchased the vehicle yet they charged me $2,500 a month later without my authorization! They said they would reimburse me and never did. Now I have a dispute going on with my credit card and months later I’m still waiting for a resolution to this unauthorized transaction. Please save yourself time and a headache. Do not do business with them!

I was considering buying a mini cooper for my daughter. I would only consider buying this type of car with a warranty of some sort, so i contacted patriot. They took all the car info, said it was good, quoted a price and i bought it. First claim denied because it was registered as a commercial vehicle for the first 15k miles. The car was used as a service loaner from BMW dealership. They denied the claim, and offered a partial refund for a prorated time frame of having the warranty. After i complained enough, they agreed to a full refund that would take 30-60 days to receive. They should never have sold me the warranty if they never intended to cover a repair.

DO NOT GET A POLICY WITH PATRIOT! When you make a claim they will find a way to not cover the claim. In my case, they claimed a service bulletin was issued on my vehicle before I bought it that had not been addressed.
