My tires and rims were delivered today, they look to be fine(I really won't know if they are good until I have them installed on my vehicle). My problem is with the delivery service. When I tracked the order at 11am it said it was being delivered April9 by the end of day, I already had to go out and missed it. On the 10th it was to be delivered by the end of day no time frame so I had to sit there all day. Canpar does not give you a window for delivering. UPS , FEDEX , even Amazons delivery service gives a 2 or 3 hour window. Your use of Canpar will certainly influence whether I would order from you again no matter how good the deal is. I was not able to speak to anyone at Canpar's Thorold office, but the driver said they can't because he does about 90 deliveries a day Amazon delivers that and more and can still give a 2 hour delivery window. You really should get a more customer oriented delivery firm.

I ordered a set of tires & paid for them. I was later informed that the tires ordered were no longer available but they did give me an alternative. I expected my payment to be refunded at that time. I placed a second order for their recommendation & have paid for this order. It's now been two weeks & numerous phone calls to them to get my refund & still nothing. My order came in parts, 3 tires delivered one day but I needed to call them to get the fourth tire. A signature was required upon delivery which we came home after being away for the day to find the fourth tire propped up at our door. I mentioned this to them when I called again & was told it's not our problem.

Furthermore as the order is not being fulfilled by whatever warehouse is supposed to provide it there is simply no date for delivery, no date of fulfillment, no understanding of when it will come. Zero customer service
Zero customer service, they do not respond to emails after they tell you no in a ticket you have to submit and wait for days just to read them saying no. I had asked for a cancellation of an order i had been waiting for 6 weeks and had to submit a ticket just to find out they cannot cancel but do not respond to any questions about if they expect to ship out the part or any delays ect. Stay away from them
Thieves
I ordered a battery charger that was supposed to charge both lead acid and lithium batteries. Partsengine charged my credit card, but then told me the charger would not charge lithium batteries. I cancelled the order, but they refused to refund my money although they never sent me anything. I had to get Visa to return my money. Misleading advertising and basically theft of my money. Do not do business with this outfit.
The absolute worst online auto parts store.
The absolute worst online auto parts retailer I have dealt with.
-I ordered a trailer hitch December 30th that showed "In stock" at time of order.
-It shipped THREE WEEKS later and arrived with MISSING PIECES.
-I needed to send many emails and make many phone calls to get the RMA started.
-Weeks after the return request was submitted with pictures and documentation, I called them back only to find out they had a route to resolution, they just failed to contact me.
-The hitch was sent back.
-Two weeks after shipment (March 4th) they sent me an email stating a refund was issued and I would see it in 3-5 days. That refund NEVER ARRIVED. They refused to respond to emails about this (which was common throughout this interaction) so I had to call them again.
- It is March 17th and I finally see the refund in my bank account.
I strongly believe this company intentionally misleads customers. Parts showing "in stock" when they are not. Telling customers refunds have been issued when they have not. I can do nothing but assume they simply hoped I wouldn't notice that I did not get my $300+ dollars back.
It took me nearly THREE MONTHS to receive a hitch and then receive my refund due to the missing parts. This is absolutely inexcusable and I will tell every contact I have in the automotive industry about PartsEngine's horrible, dishonest service.
The 1 star rating is far, far, far too high for this terrible company.
Stay Away
I ordered tires from PartsEngine.ca, and was charged immediately, but after three weeks there was still no shipment. Customer service gave vague, conflicting updates, repeatedly blamed warehouse transfers, and kept pushing back shipping timelines with weird “barring delays” caveats. When I requested a cancellation and refund, they refused, provided a tracking number for an order that hadn’t even moved, and threatened return fees if I refused delivery. Untrustworthy and frustrating experience—I will be disputing the charge. Avoid this company if you need reliable service.

I had read a lot of negative comments here after placing my order! I was stressed at the beginning with an order of $1800 I bought an RCV shaft set for a landcruiser serie60 there was one left in stock and it was the cheapest price I had found! I didn't want to pay the shipping us! But I must be part of the 20% who did not have too many problems with the order! It is sure that it is written on the site 2 to 3 days for shipping but the product finally arrived after 10 days it was the right order!

First order was ok. Second order was a lie. I ordered feb 18, emailed feb 28, received an email on mar 1 saying the warehouse would get back to me. Nothing.
I tried again- mar 3 nothing. Called and had to wait half an hour… that the part was being shipped from another warehouse- she didn’t like when I said “so it wasn’t in stock?” She tried to say it was and I said why wasn’t it shipped directly? Because of costs… that doesn’t make sense: one part shipping twice and wouldn’t apparently show up until fiesta to their warehouse. It still says 4 in stock. It still says 2-3 days shipping.

I read lots of reviews on here about partsengine after I bought tires from them and was nervous. But my experience was great! My tire came super fast and super great price. When I call them while waiting for shipping they have a call back and called back within an hour. Kimberly was a great help and had my tires dilevered fast. I bought 2 255 45 18 firestone firehawk indy 500 summer tires shipped to my door for $509.12. So im not sure about these reviews but I'll definitely buy from them again...I'm extremely satisfied

Tried ordering an Airlift kit for my truck and found it at a lower price and they wouldn't even price match. Pretty disappointing considering it says in their website lowest price guarantee. Is that false advertising? Maybe " lowest price guaranteed" should be removed from their website.
They falsely advertising "stock"
They falsely advertising "stock" items... they said they have warehouse problem bla bla bla. When you ask for a refund they said...
"We are sorry to hear that, as per your request, we will be putting in a request with the warehouse to cancel your order for a refund. Please note that this request cannot be guaranteed. If it has already been processed, it may be too far along the shipping cycle to cancel.

This company has really gone downhill
This company has really gone downhill. I ordered some Afe air filters off their website because it said they had them in stock and the shipping time estimate seemed fair. I waited well past their shipping estimate and then I sent an email inquiring for an update on my order. I waited about a week and I got no response. I sent them a followed up email cancelling my order and they said sure they can cancel my order as long as it wasn’t too far into the shipping process. A couple days later on Feb 12 2026 I got an email confirming my order cancellation saying I would get a follow-up email within 3-5 days telling me my refund was processed. It is now Feb 23 and I haven’t heard anything. I used this service a few years ago and it was smooth and efficient but now looking at their 1.9 star rating on trust pilot I now with I had checked the reviews before ordering anything from them. I would suggest that the RUN AWAY from this company and not walk away if you look at using PARTSENGINE. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. I’ve got the emails to prove my claims if partsengine has the gall to argue my facts about this order.
Received free shipping at checkout. 3 days after told item not coming unless I paid $164 for shipping.
Days after I purchased the item. which included free shipping and I received the order confirmation stating item would be shipped in 2 to 3 days. I received another email from customer services saying "
The part will not be shipped unless I pay another $164.00 + taxes in extra shipping. I already paid, checkout and recieved confirmation. This is crazy. Why was this not made clear when I checked out? the item was being shipped within our province. Only 2 hours away from my house. so no duty or import fees.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever. The order took weeks to arrive, they sent the wrong tires, gave me the run around for months trying to get a return label, had to involve BBB, finally was able to send the tires back but still waiting for my refund over a week later. Totally frustrated as they have kept my thousands of dollars for several months and I still do not have a car with winter tires.
Poor customer service, delays, stock not accurate
I ordered 2 parts. Both require the other to work. Both showed in stock. Part A shipped 11 days after ordered and paid for. 1 day later, I was notified that part B is not in stock, & is back-ordered 8 weeks. I requested a return label for part A. 8 phone calls and many emails later, I was told I'd need to pay $90 return shipping. Part was returned 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't received a refund.
Worst Online shopping ever
This was without a doubt the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. During Boxing Day, I purchased a Garmin inReach Mini II from PartsEngine for $300, which was a competitive price compared to other retailers. Garmin itself was offering it for $350 at the time, so I chose to buy from PartsEngine.
After waiting nearly two weeks, I was informed that the item was not available in their warehouse and that my money be refunded. This was especially frustrating because just three days earlier, a customer service representative had confirmed that my order was being processed.
What makes this situation even more concerning is that the same item later appeared on their website as “in stock” at a price of $500 CAD. As a result of this delay, I missed the opportunity to purchase the device elsewhere at a lower price, and I am now unable to find it for less than $400 CAD.
Overall, the customer service was very disappointing, and the inventory management appears unreliable. I would strongly recommend paying a slightly higher price with a reputable retailer rather than purchasing from an unfamiliar company and risking a similar experience.

I really wish I had checked here before I tried to order from PartEngine as it appears the experience I have had is pretty consistent across all the previous reviews. The item I ordered was listed as in stock and would be shipped within 2 to 3 days. I ordered almost 2 weeks ago and have received no shipping notification. Attempts to contact them via support ticket and phone have ended in a black hole.
I am calling my credit card company to reverse the payment because I don't think I will ever get the product I ordered and given they won't even do me the courtesy of responding to my multiple attempts to contact them I am left with no other choice.
Absolutely terrible experience and I am now worried this whole "store" is just a scam.
