I am absolutely astounded by my experience with this organization. Being able to text in for client interactions is such a cool feature. Their prices were better than anyone else I could find for my items.
I’ve been waiting for leaf springs from another distributed for over a month. I ordered these leafs and they arrived TWO DAYS later
Not to mention the delivery service they used. I’ve seen tons of reviews from other companies that the leafs are scratched and destroyed when they arrive. Mine were in great condition, my delivery driver wouldn’t even put them down on the ground he waited for me to return with each one and handed them off to me just to be extra courteous.

100% 5-star so pleased with these guys.

Good Recovery: Hitchweb’s Positive Response Turned Things Around

Update:
Since posting my original review, I received a thoughtful response from the president of Hitchweb, who personally followed up to ensure my return was authorized and progressing smoothly. I appreciate the transparency and their commitment to improving customer communication by moving away from scripted responses. It’s reassuring to see leadership taking an active role in addressing concerns and working toward better service. I’m hopeful the return will be completed without any further issues.

I had a really disappointing experience with Hitchweb. I ordered a hitch but never got a chance to use or even open it because I had to leave the country unexpectedly for a family emergency. While I was away, my car was totaled, so by the time I returned, the hitch was completely useless to me — still untouched in its original packaging.

When I reached out to return it, they refused at first because it had been over 45 days. After I explained the situation, they agreed to allow the return if I sent pictures showing the item in its original packaging and paid a 20% restocking fee, which I accepted.

But then they claimed the item had paint chips and said the warehouse might reject the return — even though the hitch was never installed or used, and the damage must have been there when it arrived. Now they're saying if the return is denied, I have to pay for shipping to get it sent back to me.

This whole experience felt like they were just looking for a way to avoid responsibility. I understand having policies, but there should be some flexibility and basic customer care — especially when the product was clearly never used. This was my first and definitely last time ordering from Hitchweb.

Shipped the wrong product to the wrong address, and Customer service was not helpful

Problems began as soon as it shipped. The address was changed when Purolator picked it up from them. When I changed it back to the original address, Purolator penalized me wit 4 more days of shipping time. However, it didn't end there. the toilet I ordered arrived, but it was not as described on the website. I ordered a DOmetic 320 14" height standard toilet. They sent me a long bowl toilet which won't work in my space. When I called customer support to try to get it corrected, they were uncooperative and wouldn't accept fault, refused to arrange for an exchange for the model that was advertised.

From looking at your order we see that we received it mid-day on Wednesday September 17th and was delivered Monday morning September 22nd, approximately 3 business days. We did notice the address provided on the order had an incorrect street name which may have contributed to some of the earlier frustrations.

As for the toilet not meeting your expectations. We had asked if you can supply images of the toilet received to see how it differs from what we listed to confirm whether there was a shipping error, but have not heard from you since.

Finally, we called and left a voicemail to see what we can do to resolve and turn your experience into a positive one :)

I placed an order and had a few issues after ordering. I reached out to Derick and he took care of the situation instantly. I would buy from this company again without even giving it a second thought. The product and service was second to none.

Never recieved order, Hitchweb refused to take accountability

pretty disappointed, if I'm going to be frank. I was eager to support a local business but the courier Hitchweb used didn't follow the delivery instructions provided and left the package in a public area. The shipping notification email didn't come through either so I had no idea the package was even on its way. By the time I got the tracking and "proof" of delivery, the package was missing.

Hitchweb first said it was too bad, they couldn't guarantee the courier will follow instructions. They then approached the courier who said it wasn't their problem because I didn't include a request to have the package sent to a pick-up point (despite not getting the shipping confirmation email Hitchweb said I was supposed to get after ordering).

Hitchweb refused to take responsibility for their courier's error and said I was out of luck. I pressed on, they offered a store credit a few weeks later but one of the items I ordered was out of stock. I had ended up buying the products elsewhere just over a week after the original order was "delivered" and they are refusing to issue a refund, so I had to proceed with a credit card chargeback for Goods Not Received.

The order did include instructions on the address line but it wasn't enough for the courier to catch, and it was delivered at the common delivery area known to have theft issues.

Ideally a call, email or text prior to or not long after placing the order would have been preferred so we could have arranged delivery to an alternate address (pickup location).

We unfortunately don't cover situations where orders are stolen and have proof of delivery, but out of courtesy in your case and given what you presented us, we did however offer a few options, including the last which was a store credit of equal amount to your order which you refused.

I would buy again from hitchweb again in a heartbeat and recommend for anyone looking for professional courteous service. My order was messed up no fault of my own and Derick help get it sorted out doing everything he could from his end order was rerouted back to them and new order shipped out at same time received parcel in record breaking time. Again hats off to Derrick for the amazing service and all the help you were

Sharlene deserves a raise!

I had a fantastic experience with one of your staff members that I wanted to share.

I recently ordered a part that I thought was correct for my RV hitch. Sharlene reached out to me, explaining that the part wouldn't work with my specific hitch. She not only offered a full refund, but she also went above and beyond. Sharlene used Google to try to find the right part for me and provided contact information for the manufacturer.
I am a senior manager in a client-facing company in Alberta, and I know great customer service when I see it. Sharlene was exceptionally helpful and remarkably friendly. She is a true asset to your company, and she deserves a raise!

Thanks to Sharlene's outstanding service, I am now a loyal Hitchweb customer. I'll be back for my next purchase soon, especially since the weight-distribution hitch I currently have is from a manufacturer who is no longer in business. You should be ashamed treating your customers like this. I gave one star and not zero because I got my money back, but I made all the effort.
Basically, you falsely advertised a product that did not work, I wasted my time installing it. Then you had the gall to force me to contact your supplier to fix things. Then you did not believe me. I had to prove to you that you made a mistake all while trying to help you.
It is all in the 17 emails exchanged with your customer support.
In the end, I had to ship it back, got reimbursed. No sorry for our mistake no nothing. Shameful.

For example, this is your first email: Hello B, unfortunately since this unit has been discontinued it is not longer showing on the manufacturer website the fitment guide. IF you are having issued with installation please give Curt a call directly at 1.877.287.8634 and speak with their tech team. They will be able to assist further with any installation questions or concerns you may have.

This is what the shape of the hitch should be. It is with a horizontal installation, as the hitch I got is vertical.

As for pictures, this request is not feasible. How can i take a picture of a part that doest fit, underneath my car? The pictures showing horizontal installation vs vertical should be enough, hence this initial question if a bracket was missing.

Super fast delivery

I ordered a fridge at 3pm on a Tuesday and it arrived to my campsite by noon on Wednesday. Very happy with the whole ordering and delivery process. So far the fridge looks perfect, and with the sale price and free shipping it saved me over $900.00 compared to a local shop.

Warranty Issue

Take your time, follow directions.

Gave a 4star only , since the box came broken in half and taped up. The product was undamaged. All the parts were in the box.
I watched multiple videos of the process to install it and took my time. Once it sticks, it is stuck. No retries.looks amazing on my 2024 Honda CRV.

J’ai commandé un chauffe-eau pour…

J’ai commandé un chauffe-eau pour remplacer celui de ma roulotte. L’adresse de livraison et l’adresse de paiement n’étaient pas la même. Un représentant d’Hitchweb me contacta pour s’assurer que ce n’était pas une fraude vu les adresses différentes. Ayant confirmé que je voulais que le chauffe-eau soit livré à notre camping, le préposé vérifia avec moi toutes les mesures de mon ancien chauffe-eau pour s’assurer que j’avais bien commandé le bon chauffe-eau.
Commande passer le samedi après-midi, chauffe-eau reçu le lundi après-midi.
Félicitation à cette compagnie canadienne pour les vérifications afin que tous soient bien fait.
Service hors pair et ultra rapide.
De plus j’ai été servi en français, chose rare lorsque vous commandez à l’extérieur du Québec.
J’ai payé 300$ de moins que chez le concessionnaire où j’ai acheté ma roulotte.

Scam company

Stay clear away fraudulent scam you order they blame the backlog at the warehouse for the order. Say it’ll be shipped out following Monday following Monday arrives now they don’t know when it’ll be shipped out due to a technical air reported to credit card company stay clear away fraudulent scam.

Excellent customer service

I needed to replace the module on my van for the trailer lights, I made a mistake and ordered a different one, they contacted me right away even though it was Sunday so I could get the one that fitted my van.
They shipped it the same day and received it the next morning.
Great customer service and the product is just what I needed.
I will surely recommend this company and its people.
