Fantastic Product and Company

Perfectly Parla

Love these tablets ..really happy with Parla as a company and their customer service is excellent.The products work for me and if I’ve ever run out and had to use an alternative I notice it on my teeth so will be using them for the foreseeable

Made teeth sensitive and gums recede.

I wanted to love it, but after two weeks of use it made my teeth very sensitive, as I believe it caused my gums to recede (especially front bottom teeth). I'd not had issues with sensitivity prior to using, so can only put it down to the toothpaste tablets. Such a shame as it sounded great, but it's just not right for my teeth or gums.

Great product, poor customer service.

Great product. Pricey but almost unique in the market. Sadly customer service is very poor. I have been trying to have a joined up conversation with Parla about my payment method and an offer that I had received and was lost because I was emailing customer service about my payment method.
There is no phone number.
Meanwhile I am bombarded daily with standard texts and emails telling me to change my payment method.
I have emailed four times, twice marked as a complaint but I have just today in a standard email been told that my subscription has now been cancelled.
Such a shame. I realise that this is a small company but they need to be more accessible and responsive.

Tube and top awful

At first was pleased with the product. After a few uses found the tube very annoying as it was not as good as other manufacturers who also have tubes that can be recycled. The screw on cap is fiddly to use and you get a silver rim in the toothpaste when squeezing the tube. Will not be using again. For the price everything should be consumer friendly.

The good news is that we’ve already made improvements. Our PRO Whitening paste now comes with an updated lid designed to be much more user-friendly, and we’ll be rolling this out across our Enamel Protect next, followed by our Probiotic range.

Tried the toothpaste in aluminium tube.

I bought the new toothpaste in aluminium tube. The toothpaste is great but dispensing is fiddly with the small screw on top. The main problem for me is that after a while, I noticed grey streaks in the paste from the aluminium. A lot of grey matter came off the screw top, inside and out, when I wiped it. As a result, I have discarded it and gone back to my usual brand.
I also want to say that I did try the tabs for quite some time but cancelled my subscription when I kept getting what seemed to be a different tab each time, sometimes with pink specks in, sometimes smaller than usual. I lost trust in the product. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired also.

Very quick replacememnt for lost order

The courier failed to deliver my order. I got in touch with the courier and PÄRLA. The courier were less than helpful and have still not actually given me anything resembling a helpful answer. However, I received a very quick reply from PÄRLA saying they had sent me out a replacement, which this time did arrive.
I switched to their Bio Balance toothpaste (from Oral B) a couple of months ago and I am very pleased with it so far. I feel it has helped to improve my oral health and the metal tube is easy to use and more sustainable.

I have been using both the Parla pro…

I have been using both the Parla pro whitening tablets and paste for about 8 months now. (I use a tablet in the morning and paste in the evening).
My mouth feels fresh after brushing and I have definitely noticed that my teeth have become whiter. The mouthwash tablets have both a fresh taste dnd are convenient to use on the go. I’m glad I found this product it is now my favourite by far.

Incredible customer service after payment mixup.

I have used Parla’s pro toothpaste tabs, toothbrushes and mouthwash tabs for a couple of years now as I wanted to find more sustainable ways of living without spending more or making life less convenient. PÄRLA ticked all the boxes and I’ve been very happy with the results. However I have been blown away by their incredible customer service this week, after a mixup with my payment card on my repeat order (all my fault) I accidentally ordered a second batch of tabs which they refunded immediately, when the refunded tabs arrived at my home I offered to return them but incredibly, despite it being my mistake, they said I could keep them as a gesture of goodwill!
What amazing service! Above and beyond!
If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

Tablets and now Paste

My husband couldn't get on with the concept, but has now started using the toothpaste, which he loves, so we are both converts and have subscriptions set up. One less plastic item in the house!

Didn't receive my products

Didn't receive my products, despite being told they've been delivered. Still waiting for a response from Parla many days later. I realise this is probably the fault of Evri, but Parla should take responsibility for using a rubbish delivery company and at least respond when a problem occurs.

Thank you for flagging this and I’m really sorry for the delay and the delivery headache. We’re a small human team - not AI! - and we work hard to jump on issues quickly, but we’ve clearly missed the mark here.

You’re right to expect better. We’re taking this on board and as a result of a lot of customer feedback, we are switching to Royal Mail shortly for all orders. In the meantime, we would be more than happy to offer either a full refund or a speedy resend - whichever you prefer.

Once we’ve sorted this and reunited you with your PÄRLA, we’d be grateful if you’d consider updating your review to reflect our products and not Evri as a courier service (as we agree they're completely failing us here!). Thanks again for giving us the chance to put it right Vic!

Quick dispatch and good customer service

Quick dispatch and mouthwash tabs are good. I’ve not tried toothpaste tabs yet.
My dental floss wasn’t working well, but customer service were excellent and sorted me out.

It shouldn’t snap or slip back in. This sounds like an out-of-spec batch and we’d love to put it right straight away.
Here’s what I can do for you now:

Replace your floss with a fresh, stronger batch
Or refund you in full for the floss

If you can email us with your order number and, if possible, the batch code from the pack to hello@parlaoralcare.com, we’ll sort this immediately and feed it into our quality checks.

A couple of general tips that help some customers:
Use a shorter length for better control
Guide the floss in with a gentle side-to-side motion rather than straight down
Keep slight tension on the way out to avoid it slipping
