Reserved a spot and called the number listed to verify van was ok then got to parking and was turned away. Very disappointing and stressful. Will not use again

This was the first time ever in my life…
This was the first time ever in my life parking in New York City, I am 57 years old BTW. What I didn't like about the garage was there was 1 entrance and 1 exit that were both the same driveway as well as the walkway. Other than that everything went very smoothly. Glad I found this website!

Will Not Use Again
Not friendly, super rude. They charged me twice the cost because I have an SUV although they said they only charge additional cost if you have an oversized SUV which I don’t. Will not use again.

I though I got a good deal..
I though I got a good deal .. paid online in advance. At pick up they made me paid same amount again.. Suppose my car was over size. It takes same size parking space as a regular size car. Mazdazmx7. Such a ripe off..

We're sorry to hear you had a negative experience with us. There are several factors that might have been the reason you were charged overages. If your car was an SUV such as a Mazda CX-7, oversize fees may have applied. In NYC, garages are parked so efficiently that oversize cars do take up more room thus justifying an oversize fee.
We have passed this information onto the location management team for feedback and consideration. We've also passed this along to the web team to ensure parkers are aware that SUVs may be subject to oversize fees in addition to their parking reservation.

Terrible Experience
This seemed like a great idea, unfortunately, we had an absolutely terrible experience. The website with our "ticket" crashed and we were unable to reach anyone at parking.com who could look up our reference number. Unfortunately, we had to wait an hour before we could pay the original rate just to leave the New York parking garage we were stuck in.
