This crew showed up not only on time, they were efficient, friendly and great team work. The communication was stellar. Calls before, during and after to ensure my happiness! Thank you Pack and Load Services!

Both teams were very good at informing us of arrival time, and also turned up as expected. The crews were very efficient loading and unloading, 16 ft POD in less than the contracted 3 hours. Our only constructive criticism, they should have used more paper pads, some of the wooden pieces were only shrink wrapped where better protection should have been used.

First, paying $600+ for 45 minutes of loading and $500 for 20 minutes of unloading is very expensive. Loading too fast and not being careful, especially with a fragile cabinet, resulted in considerable damage when received at destination.
Secondly, getting a refund on unused paper pads was frustrating. Lance and Christine promised my refund would be credited to the card in 3 to 5 business days. It took multiple phone calls and nearly three weeks for it to finally show up. NOT good customer service!!!
Thirdly, now having to file a claim for the damages incurred is most likely to be difficult as well.

Pack and load will contract out with local movers. Not a problem with that. However, the movers that we had took 8 hours to unload two 16ft containers. People laughed watching them move and said it's clear they are getting paid by the hour. When you call pack and load to complain, they don't do anything about it. I asked if they could just assemble the beds. They argued and said we don't do that despite it being in the contract. I finally asked the team to leave after I caught them sitting and doing nothing just checking their phones.
When calling pack and load, they never actually get back to you about final complaints. I asked for at least 2 hours to be removed from the charge and they never call you back. I called every other day for 3 weeks and never once got a call back. Managers are always out for lunch or "reviewing the case"

I moved across country and worked with Pack and Load from both Florida and Ohio locations. They were great on both locations. P&L staff was on-time, efficient, and friendly. P&L even made a quick change in their schedule when PODS failed to deliver to Ohio on the contracted date. Thanks Pack and Load!

The scheduling was easy, the packing guys were on time, friendly and did a great job.

I was able to resolve my billing dispute, which is good. The only other comment I would make is that purchasers of the services should be careful to manage the people sent by Pack and Load Services to make sure they carefully pack your items and load your PODs, maximize the space in the PODs, and follow your instructions.

Amazing company to work with. So kind, prompt, fast, and didn’t break anything.

I had 2 movers. They were friendly and very professional. I asked them to be careful with certain pieces and they truly listened. I didnt know they would do as I asked until I unloaded POD to see my filled 16ft POD and those few fragile pieces were carefully loaded. Not even one piece was damaged or broken. The lead was Richard and they both did outstanding work and know their job well. Thank you Pack and Load

Great experience across the board. Had zero issues. The guys were great and took care of our belongings. Thank you for making our move across country stress free!

David and Alex were AMAZING!!! Arrived early, immediately began wrapping things, even fragile things I had attempted to wrap. Fast, efficient and customer oriented. Some of the requests I made, that I thought were odd or awkward, they listen and simply answered sure or no problem. HIGHLY recommended if you require a PODS container to be loaded.

I work from home using government issued equipment from the department of veterans affairs. I instructed the packers several times not to pack my laptop because I am responsible for it. They packed it in the pod with boxes and furniture and did not retrieve it as I asked. This put me in a difficult position on my job

Excellent experience, arrived on time, loaded in an efficient manner. I had two PODs going to two separate places and the guys did an excellent job in game-planning my color coding system for the two PODs. Customer service over the phone was very communicative and helpful also. Can’t ask for anything more.

I selected Pack & Load Services because they are listed on PODS as the "most experienced" option, paying nearly $900 for just over 3 hours of work. While the two laborers had great attitudes and worked hard, they were not the expert packers I was promised.

The Major Failures:

Ignored Safety Gear: I personally provided ratchet straps and moving blankets at the start of the job. None of the ratchets were used. When I pointed this out near the end, the crew simply told me it was "too late."

Violated Internal Protocols: Customer service later confirmed that crews are strictly required to rope off sections of the container and take photos. No rope was ever used, and no sections were secured.

Zero Post-Load Support: When a PODS driver warned me that an unrestrained load would jumble and potentially jam the door shut, I called customer service. I offered to delay my PODS pickup at my own expense if Pack & Load would send someone back out to secure the load. I was told they couldn't guarantee anyone would ever show up.

Ghosted by Management: I called multiple times. Two agents promised to escalate my safety concerns to management—no call back. I finally spoke with Sally, who transferred me to a supervisor's voicemail. My call was never returned.

The Resulting Damage: Because the load was completely unsecured, transit movement caused predictable, avoidable damage:

One wooden bookcase crushed beyond repair.
One bookcase backing destroyed (now only usable for storage).
Solid wood Pottery Barn buffet heavily scraped by unsecured items shifting on top of it.
Two lawn chairs ruined (plastic side locks sheared off).
A heavily marked "FRAGILE" box crushed, shattering the mosaic lamp bulbs inside.

I paid top-dollar for professional expertise to prevent exactly this scenario. Instead, I received a negligent load and refusal by management to communicate.

The guys were awesome! On time, very helpful, and quick. Plus, thy helped me set up our adjustable bed frame, which I was unsure of how to hook it back up. Worked like a champ! Highly recommended!

The team was efficient and quick. They got most of the items loaded easily. My only complaint was that we ordered wardrobe boxes and they were not used. I did not see a refund or statement correction for the materials ordered and not used. That was not good. Clothing was dumped into a box and subsequently they were very wrinkled.

Overall very happy with the team that loaded our PODS container. They arrived on time, took the time to look at what needed to be loaded, made a plan and got it loaded. Honestly, I don't think everything was going to fit, but they loaded it efficiently and carefully.

My Packers were fabulous. I had a lot of trouble with Pods. They totally understood and worked with me.
The company charged me twice.
The first time was legitimate. It was my pack and load to my pod container. My pod container was not big enough so they had to send another container. The Packers had to come back and move everything from small container to the large container. I totally expected this company to work with me and at least give me a discount for the mistake. Pods made. Yes I understand you did not make a mistake in the ordering of my pod. The fact is you charged me an entire pack and load fee for the second load which did not include any packing whatsoever. I'm very disappointed with this service from The company not from the Packers. I will never use your company again, and I will tell everyone how horrible you are cause you would not even give me a small discount for what happened. I believe you took advantage of the situation so you could make double the money bad business!

Thanks to your great team for making the move to be a positive experience. They arrived on schedule and went right to work. One of the best aspects was the skilled cooperation between the 3 workers - their leader had clearly trained his co-workers to work as a team.
Together they turned a 4-letter dread into a 5 star experience for us.
