Over 3 weeks

It took over 3 weeks to get our claim approved. The worst thing is communication by email and not having a person to talk with. It could be great but customer and timing is the worst. I had to pay for a rental the whole time waiting and no help from OX.

I didn’t like the response because I couldn’t get you guys on the phone and it took the repair shop to fax you guys that’s how I found it that you guys were doing anything for me and my vehicle I’m glad you guys did something but the communication has to be much better please!!!!

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. I thought carshield was bad, but you guys seemed to have single handedly one upped them! Zero human communication between the advisor and claims rep. Days between responses from EMAIL ONLY communication. Why not have a web portal at least? 0 star. NO SOUP4U!!!

They are very unprofessional, disrespectful, rude and practice in false advertisement!!! They never answer the phones nor do they care you have a problem or a situation that is not being addressed nor resolved. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! Do not waste your money nor your time and effort. Choose another organization!!!

I understand you are upset, however, we do have procedures and request that need to be meet prior to approval. I am happy that your car was fixed as promised by your policy. However, it is sad to me that we were not able to give you legendary customer service and claims service. We are working to make the customer experience better for all. I had to have a rent a car for 16 days…

I had to have a rent a car for 16 days cost me over 800.00 dollars. It was an air conditioner compressor, that should have taken that long to ok the work. When I bought the policy I asked Angel was the moonroof covered he said yes and it wasn’t. Bad, bad , bad and I’m upset. I truly hope this doesn’t happen next time. Also I think I should be reimbursed half of that rental, I have the invoice. I didn’t agree to paying over 4000.00 to be treated this way and lied to.

As stated in my previous response, Ox is actively working to amend the issue of time in which a claim is handled. Please note we strive for 5 days at most, for the full process (approval to customer receiving their car). However, at times it does not work out that way.

Keep your Promises. Give the quotes!
Don't ask for people to spend the time, put info in, just to not give the quotes! What a Waste of Time, not to Mention Aggravation, & Now Not wanting to deal, believe anything you say. I want to Yelp a bad buisness review.. I Enjoy yelping of More Positive/ than negative. I receive feedback from the Company to pledge Keep yelping. My writing skills are amazing. I've been offered jobs from companies as (Amazon to Presidential Runners). (Now it's almost 5am. Had to handle cable again, I'm quite tired.) However, not tired enough to write & say this Company must not care bout keeping their word. As Our Gov doesn't either. Depressing as well.. your an American Company, has to start Somewhere People!

They would not be definitive and Ox does not work with "maybe", we need your car information, in-order to give accurate information, so you know your exposure. This insurance is a scam

These people are nothing but a scam I paid $150 a month for coverage on my truck and when I broke down I had it towed to a mechanic and they would not cover anything that was wrong with my truck it basically boils down to if engine blows up they'll cover the block but they won't cover nothing that goes on the outside of the block nothing it is such a scam I got stuck with a $900 mechanic bill

Former employee

I'm a former employee and this was one of the worst companies I've ever worked for. They push and push to get sales and wanted us to harass people until they hung up or finally bought from us. They would have us tell false stories to relate to customers or push them to make financial decisions without their significant other. I was sent home early one day because a elderly woman on social security said she couldn't afford us and I told her to have a nice day. Next thing I knew one of the higher ups who listens in to our calls said I didn't take the job seriously and sent me home for not pressuring this sweet old lady. Also don't get me started on how many people they made me call who were supposed to be on a do not call list, or people calling cause we hadn't sent what auto repairs needed to take care of the cars cost. I can say so much more but just find someone else.

PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMAPNY. Thank God, I never signed up for any services. I initially called them today after hearing their ad on Sirius.After a 2 minute brief on their product, they were trying to sign me up for $250/month service. I never impulse buy, and I told the representative, I needed to discuss thisa with my wife. Well that tiggered something,as the person started getting an attitide with me. Saying, "well this is the sales department, not the quote department!?. What? are you kiding me!That triggered me to end this call and move on. I can sense her trying to pressure me into something and I wasn't going to budge. The "rep", started getting too aggressive so I had to hang up the call. Mind you I haven't provided any contact info besides my name, and certainly didn't approve them to call me. Low and behold, a couple hours later, they started calling me. I told the new representative I wasn't interested and to remove me from their call list. 15 minutes after ending that call, I get another call from said company, and another super aggressive, pushy, condescending person trying to berate me into buying their crap services. I told the person, if this is how you treat customers, then there;s no way I would ever do business with them. This guy never stopped talking. Even over talking me still trying to sell their crap service. It's a true sign something is wrong with a place when they do these type tactics. Please don't have any dealings wit these clowns. You will instantly regret it.

Doesn't give what they claimed they'd give.

Would prefer to leave no stars but can't. The air-conditioning and radiator in my car needs fixing. They want entire maintenance report for the car. We had the car since October or 2023. The car is a 2019 Nissan Rogue. It took some time but I DID get the maintenance report for before I had the car. They STILL want more paperwork for the car, don't know what paperwork. They won't tell me. Someone there told my husband that they wouldn't fix our car because it doesn't have enough "maintenance " done to it. Hard to understand how they're still in service.. I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK, AS THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM USING THE SERVICE.

Woaaa! Just saw this company ad on TV and although not at all interested in purchasing a warranty, I am always curious about ads that are too good to be true . So I decided to read reviews and wow! So glad there are review sites so that consumers can exercise caveat emptor! Thank you to all who were thoughtful enough to provide these reviews! I am sorry you were scammed but at least you saved many people from being victimized.

This is a scam

This is a scam, my truck has been in the shop since last week, the service department sent an email to the claims department and they've yet to respond, I called myself and all I got was someone that transferred me to claims and I was on hold for over an hour so I hung up, I just had to cancel my credit card so they will not get anymore money from me, the money that I've paid for this extended warranty I could've just paid out of pocket to get my truck fixed, if you're reading this please do not even consider doing business with these people, and the dealership that my truck is at has said they will not be excepting this warranty company, they have been put on the block list alo g with car shield, SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! They don't deserve a star at all, they need to be brought up on charges for SCAMMING people out of their hard earned money!!!

If I could give a NEGATIVE star review

If I could give a NEGATIVE star review, I would. We received so many calls and emails to convince us to purchase this Carshield/Ox Car Care policy. Had it only since March 2023, this year, AND now we have tried to use it .... BUT not one single phone number answered, returned a single call or paid for any amount they promised would be covered. Such a waste of time and money!!!! This company needs to be shut down ASAP.

Failure to Honor Claims

My name is Darel Johnson. I bought a 2016 Nissan Altima with 56,000 miles on it. My mother, Linda Wilburn helping me out purchased a platinum plan from Ox Car Care. I noticed some issues going on with the car after the required amount time and milage to exercise the warranty. I took it to the dealership and a diagnostic was done. I needed both front controlling arms replaced and a top motor mount. Ox car care informed us we would have to produce the full service history of the car. A task impossible. We contacted the dealership and was told there is no for them to know the full service history of the car, being I am the 3rd owner. We were able to produce the the full carfax and service done by dealership I bought it from. Even the representatives of the dealership voiced they don't ask for a a service history of the car. They voiced that it's clear they are coming up with reasons to not not honor the claim. We canceled the policy and I would recommend that you do not purchase any policy from this company. They want the payment every month, but if you ever have to make a claim, they will come up with the most draconian demands to not honor any claims
