I was very happy with the Professional Service and the Interpersonal Skills

I was very happy with the quick response by Evelynn M's recognizing and correcting the error that I had just corrected a few minutes earlier to a previous OX Care Rep. She stayed on the call to ensure that I had received the information electronically. Evelynn M's Professional service skills were Exceeding, and her Interpersonal Skills Exceptional and made the inconvenience less dissatisfying.

I thought this was a great car care…

I thought this was a great car care service, but until this happened. The first time they did not pay for our first car service, we thought ok. Then it keeps happening over. They were the worst. I cannot believe what happened to me and my husband. We have been paying such a great fee every month to this company. Until my husband's truck had a problem. My husband's truck stuck after he finished work. The truck would start. So, we took our truck to Ford for service. This Ox service did not want to pay for the service because we had to wait for the claim before taking the truck to Ford for service. We had to call a tow truck to take the truck at night from my husband's work. How can we wait which we were not informed of in writing? Ox Car Care service is a fraud. my husband called to cancel. In November. Please do not be fooled by them. I should've looked at others' reviews before we purchased. I would not make that mistake again. I'm writing this review to let other people be aware. I do not want anyone to go through what we went through. Be aware. This has been a nightmare. We lost so much money with that company. We had to find money somewhere to pay for the entire service for the Truck.

I am sorry you were inconvenienced. In your policy, it is stated that you are to wait until the claim has been approved prior to repairs. Also, it states on the website exact instructions on how to file a claim.

Harassment in progress

I called this company to get a quote on their warranty insurance they gave me a quote and when I said that I did not want to move forward they continually called me for 7 days my opinion is not to give them any of your information especially your phone number for you will be harassed

Was sold a Diamond policy but got a lump of coal

I was sold a Diamond policy, and assured it was a "bumper to bumper" policy. BMW repairs are usually expensive and I paid $4,474 hoping for peace of mind. My first claim was when the oil housing unit failed and dumped coolant. Car was inoperable. Claim was instantly denied.

Policy states "Cooling System" but then covers only "water pump, radiator and heater core only if leaking"
I had to pay $1,253 out of pocket.
Terrible company! - RUN !!!! away from them!!!!!

I checked with Ox Car Care to help my brother obtain coverage for a newly purchased used truck.

I checked with Ox Car Care to help my brother obtain info about warranty policies. I asked for a quote online and my phone rang before I even lifted my hands from the keyboard. After a few moments I was connected to a representative for a quote. I explained my goal and received quote for a "special" plan with a 50% deductible. I expressed concern about the deductible as my brother is a retiree on a fixed income. I asked
for info about their Diamond plan. The answer was simply "this plan is better." I was pushed hard to "secure my rate" by paying an "activation fee" of $595 (quickly reduced to $100 as I continually explained that I was not committing my brother to anything without his approval). I told the rep that I understood that he was pushing hard for a sale and that I understood sales (and do). He accused me of being "condescending" and commenced to loudly talk over me. I finally hung up. If this is how they treat potential customers you can see how they treat actual customers. TERRIBLE AND ABUSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Bad customer service.

I can’t believe such a great car with such a bad customer service
They took the deposit and they took the down payment but no car and no response to calls and emails and text.
I own Tesla since 2012 and keep leasing one every 3 years. But I never had such a bad experience like this time

OX Care Care - SCAM

SCAM! Debited money from my bank account After i cancelled with them and they told me they would not and still did. Told me they would refund my startup fees that they claim are totally refundable, but are refusing to do so, If you try to contact them regarding a refund you will be put on endless holds and hangups, they try to discourage you to the point that you will just take the loss and walk away from your refund.

Refusing to give me my refund.

This company needs to be Shutdown and Sued into bankruptcy, Stay Away.

They are very high pressure on the…

They are very high pressure on the phone which is the First bad sign. I finally had to hang up on them to shut them up.
Second they will not give you a copy of the contract UNTIL you sign up.
Third they quoted ne $255 and after passing me from "manager" to manger" it miraculously dropped to $%165

Glad I Read Reviews

Actually, after reading these negative reviews on how awful Ox is in running a tight ship, I am looking elsewhere for my auto warranty company. As with a restaurant that serves sub-par food a has bad service, that restaurant won't be in business for long and in my opinion, OX is heading for extinction!
I had to select one star to be able to write this opinion piece. I also had to select a random date to be able to finish this review.

Ox Does the Lords Work

I have had a policy with Ox for more than 5 months now. When I experienced my first breakdown, I took my car to a certified mechanic, and we both contacted Ox. Ox was able to get my car fixed and me on the road in no time. Thank you to Trevor and the claims team, y'all are doing the lords work.

When I spoke with them on the phone

When I spoke with them on the phone, they sold the said all the benefits but for them to only cover 500.00 it is definitely not worth the money monthly. Then after 3 times of using their service they will cancel the policy.

My truck condenser went out and ox car…

My truck condenser went out and ox car care personnel came up with every excuse known to man to delay the repair of my vehicle it took over a month to get an approval and by that time I had to get my vehicle repaired and I also got the vehicle repaired cheaper than the dealership was going to repair the vehicle for but ox care refused to reimburse me for paying to have my vehicle repaired. I asked to speak with a supervisor but they claimed they had no supervisor. People please keep your money this is the worst warranty company I’ve ever dealt with the people are very rude and unprofessional and I even sent In receipts for a oil change and tire rotation and true to form wasn’t reimbursed for those services either or a rental car. If these people call you run as fast as you can.

Ox does apologize for the inconvenience you faced regarding your claim and the extended amount of time to gain authorization for your claim. However, the policy does state that any repairs performed to the covered vehicle not specifically authorized by Ox Car Care via an authorization number are not covered. We are continuously striving to improve our time in which a claim is processed.

Unprofessional sales

Was curious about a quote at one time so, I called the number I saw on the ad on tv.
After a few simple questions about my truck was answered, a long lengthy sales pitch, in which, I could tell was being read to me. I made a decision to shop around for competitive quotes, and politely mentioned this to the person I was speaking to. But after repeating several times, it got frustrating because cause she wouldn’t settle for what I was saying and kept asking for my payment information. I had to hang up on this person.
I received two more calls after this within the hour from sales reps who identified themselves as higher marketing managers. I went through the same thing but even more persistent than the other. Funny thing is, is that the monthly rates got lower and lower, “ pay two years, get three free!” What? I almost went for it, before I asked myself, “if it’s too good to be true, it probably is!” I pulled the plug and asked this person to stop pressuring me. They were really desperate!
I had to hang up on three different people and block the calls.
This made my concern to research this company and read ALOT of really bad reviews. Sadly they are scammers out to rip you off.
Don’t fall for it. They want your CC information. Hopefully this will be helpful to people who are doing research on this company.
Don’t do it!

Thank you for your review Ox does appreciates all feed back. However, respectfully I must defend the accusation of our sales representatives being "scammers." The two you received just need more training, they both did not approach your call correctly and for that I am sorry. However, it is true, buy 2 years and get 3 years for free. All of our policies are written this way, so we can provide service to the customer even after they have finished paying their policy with us.

Moreover, we do not just want the CC information, unfortunately, you happened to receive an aggressive sales person. Nonetheless, these type of comments are great because as the business we learn from these.

24 hours or 60+ hours

We submitted our client Invoice on 9/7/23 via email. We did not receive notification that the item was covered by her plan until 9/15/23.(This was after several calls and emails.) Normally, when we deal with extended warranty, we talk to someone on the phone and they advise if the items are covered while on the phone. I spoke with several people on the phone but they could only tell me someone would get back with me. This client went without a car from 9/7-9/15, while we waited to see if this was covered under her plan. After we received the approval, payment was within 24-48 hours. (after a few phone calls.)

If I take my car to the dealership for repair, how can you pay just after market parts? Do you think the Mercedes dealership is going to go by zero parts from AutoZone and give us warrantee on that or are they supposed to use their own genuine parts? Please tell me.

I am sorry that you are upset with how our policy is handled. However, it states in your policy that we are allowed to request parts that are similar wear, or have light use. We are not obligated to use factory parts or new parts, as we are an after market warranty and not a factory warranty. We thank you for your review, and apologize that we did not live up to your expectations.

They use any technicality to get out of paying a claim

My van was in for transmission repair. They would not cooperate with the shop and finally after the job was completed They said they needed to send an inspector then denied the claim because it took them 3 weeks to get an inspector there so the job was already done.....who can wait 3cweeks for an inspection! I needed my vehicle back on the road. Horrible, horrible horrible customer service.....also you can never reach them by phone they hide only behind emails.

Horrible claims process

Not being able to complete a claim over the phone with an agent is a bad idea. The email process takes way longer than necessary to process a claim that could be done in 3 minutes with a phone call.
