I ordered a slipcovered sofa to be delivered in 6 weeks-- so I can only say the sales assistant was very helpful, sending me many fabric samples & giving full attention to my order. Now I anxiously await the sofa.

NO compensation for ordering/delivering WRONG chair and damaged SOFA in 3-piece set.
Only exchanged velvet side chair for an upholstered side chair until we waited another 5 weeks for the swivel glider.

They did not provide any interest on the money they had received for delivering us the wrong product; not even a token lamp or candle or anything. 10% off was offered if we kept the damage sofa that was delivered - we opted to exchange the frame with the FLOOR MODEL, and did not receive a discount for that either...

Love my slip covered furniture - except the covers a just a tad too tight. Wish they were 1/2 inch looser across the back. Everyone is very nice and helpful.

I had a pleasant shopping experience and was helped by one of the owners, Christina, I thought the pricing was a little high, but delivery was ridiculously high, I went to another outdoor store and was given a slightly better price with a flat fee of $45 for all to be delivered. I went back to Our Boathouse and asked if they could match the competitor's price, which they did. I ordered my furniture mid-November paying in full, (which was a bad idea) and was told it could take 5 weeks which would be before Christmas. I did not receive the furniture before Christmas, they said that the factory,Summer Casual, took off 2 weeks for Thanksgiving and would be taking off 2 weeks for Christmas I didn't believe that the factory shut down for that long of a time, so I called the factory itself and they were not closed at Christmas so I doubt the same was true over Thanksgiving. I called OBH and asked in January about delivery and they said their rep at the factory changed so they weren't sure. I went to the store and asked about the fire pit that was ordered at the same time as the patio furniture and was told it was in their warehouse, the whole time since I ordered, but no one offered it to me to use with my existing patio furniture, which I could have used over both holidays. They made a delivery of the fire pit when I told them I would take that since at this point my order had been in for over 2 months. When the fire pit got delivered the men were going to just keep the heavy item on the pallets and put it on my back patio, I called the store and said I didn't pay for a $4000 item to be dumped on my patio, that they had to have it unpackaged and set up. The delivery guys did what they could at my insistence, but they never set one up before so they couldn't show me how to use it or even what some of the parts did. I called OBH the next week to inquire about the deliver of my furniture and a salesperson named Deb asked the person who answered the phone why I was calling again, since she had answered an earlier call I made that day and said they were too busy and someone would call me back that day, when no one called back and it was almost time to close, I called again. It was rude of her to bad talk about the customer so I could hear her on my end. I went to the store the next day and insisted either my order get delivered that week or I would be taking sample pieces off the floor to use for an upcoming party. My piece arrived 12 weeks after I ordered and paid in full, I was told when I asked a salesperson about my order if it was placed when I made it and she confided in me that the person who normally does the ordering was on vacation so it went in late. I was upset because the owner who I dealt with to make the sale was never available when I called or went into the store, and was never honest about why my items did not arrive but made up different untrue excuses to cover the fact up that they put the order in late. Honesty would have been helpful and an answer to my calls would have been appreciated. I told the one sales person after the delivery that I really wanted a call from Christina and she said she would tell her, I never received it so I could tell her about my bad experience instead I received several e-mails asking me for my review so instead of a private conversation with the owner, now it will be on the internet for all to see.

Good selection of product. It is just a little to pricey.

We purchased a slipcover sofa, 2 swivel chairs and an ottoman. All the people we talked with from the sales people at Vero Beach (worked with us on fabrics and color combinations), calling to get status' on delivery, to the delivery people, were all extremely nice and helpful. The gentlemen who performed delivery, assembly and putting on the slip covers were extremely nice, careful, explained the best way to put on and wash the slipcovers and answered all the questions we had . The furniture is solid, well made, great quality and the slipcovers fit well and are well sewn. All the pieces should last a long time (the frames, springs and interior upholstery are warrantied for life). The only downside was the wait, almost a month beyond what we were told when we purchased the items. We are in the Vero Beachs' store's delivery area. It took extra time for them to receive the items and several weeks for delivery after the store received the furniture. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

I would have made an error purchasing slip covered furniture from other stores previously bookmarked. When I stumbled upon this site I saw immediately superior quality and reading reviews finalized my decision to purchase in the future.

You are fantastic, for helping me throughout the issue of the wrong slipcover and then providing a wonderful discount and solution to the purchase of a new chair!
