THIS IS A SCAM.. My experience was the same as others here. They signed me up for supposedly purchase of a single item, and then said it was for ongoing payments. I repeatedly asked them to unsubscribe me, but they told me to download their app. When I said I was not doing that they sent me to a website which I left immediately as it looked like pfishing.

A couple of days later they tried an £18 deduction, which Barclaycard blocked, but did deduct a further £4. After talking to Barclaycard I blocked any payments to this firm, and they are pursuing a refund.

This application is a SCAM! Stay away

I tried to pay but got that my payment did not go through. Alright. But actually they not only charged me the 5 dollars for the DNA match but also around 45 dollars for something I have no idea what is. My bank could not help and asked to contact them for refund. So I go to the homepage and find a button called "ask for refund" and guess what. That page does not load. So 50 dollars down the drain for nothing.

I paid £3.87 to receive the analysis of my origins and then I cancelled the subscription twice.
Instead of a proper confirmation email, I received an email with a link asking me to cancel again, along with information stating that my subscription was still active.

Two days later, you charged my account another £19, even though I had already cancelled the subscription. This is unacceptable and fraudulent behaviour.

Scam, please stay away! I subscribed for the 5$ trial out of curiosity and the moment I authorised the transaction with my bank and returned to the Facebook advert, I was asked in a very ambiguous way to proceed with my registration. I clicked on the wrong button and it instantly charged me for the 3 month subscription of 44$. Everything I describe happened in seconds. I then immediately contacted their customer service to apply for a refund due to a mistake and even though they returned the emails, they never addressed anything I explained (including that I have an EU right to request for refund within 14 days after purchase). They kept saying how their terms and conditions were clear the moment I was making the purchase (!!!). I had to claim the money back through raising a dispute with my bank. Absolute fraud vibes just to make money, please stay away. I thought I was smarter than that but here we are.

Scam avoid took three payments from me and I have had to stop my card .

I only gave 1 star so I could write my review on this origins app. My experience has been a complete and utter piss off. I don't even have the app. I've never even heard of it and now they're deducting $36 every two weeks from my account and when I reach out to them to inform them that I don't have the app, they just continue to deduct money and tell me to go on the app and log in and finish registering and then cancel it. I don't want the app, I don't want to download it. I don't want to log in. I just want them to cancel it and own their s*** and give me my money back. This problem started in November and still continues as of right now.

Did this via Instagram it was totally incorrect about my heritage. A complete waste of money. Then yesterday they take 3 payments from me & I never authorised this! AVOID THIS APP

Cant login into app, scam stealing money and i had my card blocked recently still tsking money RIP OFF and want my money back they have stolen from me

They are scammers.. they took money from my account too … without subscription….for months now…

They give you no way to cancel and keep trying to take your money.
Don’t touch it, and certainly don’t use their “free” trial.

I tried to use my digital card of a single use just bc curiosity, and they refuse. Possibly because these type of cards dont apply further charges.

I did not even finish evaluating or activating this subscription during the trial period of $5 and I was charged $24.99 after the supposed trail period ended. Even during the trial period I did not use any of it's services, even received an email for me to activate the subscription, I did not and I was still charged. Impossible to cancel or get a refund. Very suspicious

It's a scam, they will keep using your banking information and charging you even after you unsubscribe. This practice is highly unlawful.

SCAM. THEY LITERALLY CONFUSE YOU AND STEAL YOUR MONEY. IT MADE ME A SUBSCRIPTION THAT CHARGES EVERY THREE MONTHS. I WROTE THEM THE FIRST TIME AND TRIED TO UNSUBSCRIBE AND GET REFUND BUT THEY DENIED IT AND CHARGED ME AGAIN. I'M FROM CHILE IT CHARGED ME 48 USD AND 49 USD. THEY RETURN MESSAGES BUT NOT ANSWER AND DENY REFUND

I cancelled my subscription 5 minutes after signing up for a free trial. But they started charging me $25/week as if I had a premium subscription. I have done everything to reach them but there is no one to talk to. DO NOT SIGN UP this is a complete scam.
