Absolutely fantastic, from entering the store to receiving my items. We we’re able to look at any items in peace unless we needed help which was given straight away and then left to continue to look around. Knowledgable on all items (a young lad, sorry didn’t get his name. But was very helpful and friendly) Ordered on the Saturday before COVID-19 lockdown, with the warning may not able to deliver in the time given for delivery (if lockdown happens, which of course it did) I was fine with that as I was decorating from scratch anyway. As soon as lockdown was over, was informed as suppliers had been on lockdown too, have to wait for deliveries, which is understandable and out of everybody's control (again not a problem) didn’t have to wait long. Informed as soon as items were ready for delivery, and given dates. I asked for a call at 30 minutes before items were due to arrive to get there. Not a problem, phone call every time. The lads who delivered everything were fantastic, carrying all items and helping to put together. They even took away packing that wasn’t needed. Even had a follow up call to check everything was alright and I was happy. This is the 3rd time as a family we’ve used Oakland’s and I’ll gladly recommend them to friends and colleagues. Given the recent circumstances that companies have had the added pressure of dealing with I would given Oakland’s A*.

I entered a very poor review to this company and I wish to change now that we have resolved the problem
The wardrobe arrived damaged with one door and they immediately responded by saying they would replace and also offered a payback sum of money
It took some time to get the door due to the lockdown but kept in touch regularly to update me, The door arrived and although they offered and engineer I managed to fit myself. Again they checked on progress and the situation is now closed. The company were infact extremely good and it was refreshing to see the response and back up give during these troubled times. Thank you

Steve and Mike have just delivered my replacement sofa, they were on time, courteous, and very professional. Thanks boys.

I am doing an upgrade on Oaklands furniture with thanks to Rupert Francis who made a call to me after reading my review. He took the time listening to my concerns and assisted in helping. Hopefully things are rectified turning this unhappy customer into a more happier one. Thank you Rupert for caring and your assistance. I am glad that help was offered to resolve the situation

We bought a sideboard from Oakland which arrived damaged. The delivery guy would not take it back, Oakland would only repair and not replace. Eventually got them to pick it up and got a refund and then was told I was banned from the company and was unable to order anything else.
Never heard of this before, we just wanted what we paid for....

Not a good company, with some really poor standards and lack of customer care.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, AS THERE AFTER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT. SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF BOTHER.

Purchased a mattress which after 4 months have separated in one side. what is most funny, Oak lands does not accepting the claim as stating is my fault as I was sitting on it! extremely unhappy. Paid £600 for mattress.

If I could give zero stars then I would . Went to pick up my order and when I hit home one if the chairs was broken . Returned it to the store to be confronted by a guy that worked there asking if he could help . I told him I had only just taken the chair out of the box and it was broken and I wasn't happy . His response from a 6ft big bloke was "no good being unhappy s--t happens !! " he then stomped off and got someone else to serve me . I have never been spoken to in this manner before , no apology no nothing just "S--t happens " !! Once I have my replacement chair I will never use this store again and will certainly not be recommending it to anyone like I have done in the past . If the incredibly rude man calls with an apology then I might think differently but until then I suppose "s--t happens "
Bloody rude and intimidating , customers have a choice where to shop . Customer service brings them back to your store time and time again . This store will need some serious good luck to remain open with the lack of customer care and rudeness .

Worst customer service. Deliver drivers wouldn't carry furniture up to my flat. Left without furniture for Xmas now. My three year old is crying.

It took 3 weeks for them to contact me and the courier offered me one day to deliver, a Monday when I was working. No other options available! Then my order was sent back and a very rude person from Oaklands, Katie said that free delivery was an 'added bonus' and that she would try and find another courier. A couple of days later and she called to say that she could deliver on a Friday or a Saturday but couldn't give me any idea when - no idea whatsoever! I said I wanted to cancel my order and she said fine and hung up on me. Terrible service. I'm really amazed they are still in business at all.
