Easy to set up an account
Instructions for setting up a new bond account were easy to follow, and making a deposit was simple using the 'pay by bank card' method. Although the interest rate is not one of the highest available, it is still pretty good.

Transferring my bonds was a smooth transaction
The man was really clear & precise when talking to me & made me feel comfortable with my transaction. The security was excellent to confirm who I was as I have quite a lot of premium bonds. The transaction was completed with ease.

Absolutely appalling highly frustrating…
Absolutely appalling highly frustrating divisive delay tactics every time we have contact them about a deceased relatives premium bonds refund we never get a straight answer and we have done everything hey have asked and every time we finally speak to them their always dealing with the month prior to anytime we ring them it seems like they will never refund the money which is needed to be added to a final total for a trust for a vulnerable family member it is teetering on being criminal behaviour disgusting .

I was really worried about making a mistake when I was transferring funds from one account to another. However, the procedure was clearly set out and I was able to follow it easily and completed the transaction.

Buying premium bonds is so easy through the NS&I website. You can set up a regular payment to go out every month and you can buy extra if you want to. I like the layout and it's easy to navigate.

I find the web-site easy to use and they keep me up to date and send reminders when something has happened. It feels very safe - they aren't pushy and when I speak on the phone the people are knowledgeable and respectful
