HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE!!
Website clarity is terrible you have to go on a complete different page which then tells you about what bike prep and riding gear you need!
The event is completely disorganised and waiting times are ridiculous!
All they are bothered about is over booking the event to make as much money as they can!
They put events on at locations where you cannot even hire the equipment required!
They want you to deflate your tyres before going onto the track but have no facilities to re inflate your tyres so you can ride back home!
Members of staff are extremely rude especially Clare who is supposedly ment to be management! She is manipulative, rude, and not willing to help in the slightest!
I will be taking this matter higher due to the horrendous experience I have had!
Best thing is I didn't even get to do the experience so total waste of money!! And no refund given at all!
AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Too many riders
Too many riders. Rude staff that treat you like children. Disorganized. No moderation on group skill levels. Examples:
My wrist band broke and I asked for a new one. “Really you are joking”. Minor
Hissy fit.
I couldn’t get into the pit lane to go out in my group because the next group were blocking the pit lane entrance. “I have no control over that”
The advanced group has so many slow riders in that it is dangerous. “I have no control over this and it’s a weekend track day, what do you expect?”
There must have been a red flag nearly every session, we left at lunch time and it was a waste of money.
This is cattle class. Ryan Air equivalent of a track day. Very dissatisfied. Two of us.
Getting worse .
Ridiculous waiting for loading and unloading been waiting 90mins and still not near to unloading .. tracksense takes 10 minutes ... also callled on Friday to check pick up time only to spoken in rude manner saying it was on telegram but I said I didn't see it as had 47 messages on it ... I spend thousands of pounds to try to enjoy the money I spent not be spoken to like a child... how hard is it to just say time . Disappointed
Get the genuine reviews,
If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck. It's pretty much a safe bet that it's going to be a duck.
Same goes for when you get a isolated smattering of potentially disingenuous reviews, especially on a platform that has no official representation from the actual company so very little chance of a direct response. Yes, from time to time, things can and do go wrong, that's inevitable with running over 300 UK and European trackdays a year and the number of customers associated, but No Limits has always prided in the fact it will attempt to mutually resolve each and every individual issue that arises. That's covered in depth in the morning safety briefing and when it's reiterated that if a customer has concerns of any description to raise it with a member of the team on the day so there is scope to resolve the matter.
No Limits Trackdays has a huge social media presence that is staffed 365 days of the year. Facebook alone has operated for nearly 15 years and has a independent 5 star review rating of 96% recommend (1,145 reviews) So do your due diligence first.
For full disclosure and for the sake of transparency, I am officially connected to No Limits Trackdays and No Limits Racing NLR.
Warning. Single Supplement
5 of us had booked on for a NL Event at Portimao which has meant that one of us have to roll the dice and be lumbered with a stranger. Just got a call to say they couldn't find anyone so I have to stump up another £120.
I'd mentioned that we've been on dozens of TD's with Focused Events and that we've never been charged for a single if the event organiser couldn't fill the spot. The response was so arrogant, I still can't believe they said this. 'We don't even compare to Focused. We're so much better'.
She then proceeded to tell me that they only use 4* hotels and then say that the beds in the Jupiter are so close together that I'd be better off getting a single anyway! Well I was in Portimao (May 2023) with FE and we were in a 5* Spa Hotel where twin occupancy meant we had a room each!
The arrogance is off the scale and considering there's a group of 5 of us that usually do 3 euro trackdays a year, it's our first and last with NL.
Honestly, this Karen makes Kev at FE look like and adorable cherub. Can't wait to meet her at the event.
I want to apologise for all the bad…
I want to apologise for all the bad reviews this company has got,
What the heck is wrong with people, this company is fantastic, great customer service and great track organisation, people are moaning about refunds and stuff it’s all in the small print( you lose a percentage upon track days ) obviously to cover people cancelling due to rain. And the. People moan about the crash’s (this stuff happens, it’s part of the risk of track, don’t wanna take a risk then don’t go on track) you can not blame no limits for that, they have paramedics and fire on the track and if anything does happen they are with you within second, they also have free track tuition, meet the lads or lasses, easily approachable, some people have also had a rant about where to go and what to do, ask someone ??? Every person is willing to help even with tyre pressures and where to check in, we’ve all been there before, sorry for the rant but ***** me off people writing bad reviews about stuff that could of been dealt with or asked for advice before putting a rubbish review in
Sorry rant over
Dreadful Experience
This was my first track day with No Limits at Cadwell and will be my last. Not at Cadwell which is a wonderful circuit but with No Limits. I initially rode in and asked a miserable member of staff where to sign in. He immediately looked at my textile gloves that I was wearing and said that I couldn’t ride in them. I explained I knew this and had my leather gloves in my bag. Not the best welcome. I attended the safety briefing that was delivered by Claire. At the end Claire mentioned that we needed a sticker. Being new to this I thought the reference was to the noise test sticker which I had. As it wasn’t made clear I turned up at the holding area for my sighting laps without the group sticker and received the most venomous rudest dressing down I have ever experienced from Claire. Absolutely disgusting! I couldn’t believe as a customer I was being spoken to as if I had arrived on the bottom her shoe. Shocked at the disproportionate response doesn’t come near it. From a safety stand point winding someone up, as Claire did before going on track is appalling. The only saving grace was spending time with Paul the instructor. He is a top bloke and gave me some valuable advice. There is no way that I would ever book with no limits again and I will be also dissuading my riding friends and anyone else that I come into contact with that is considering a track day with No Limits.
Did a trackday at Lydden Hill in april
Did a trackday at Lydden Hill in april. Staff where good and very pleasent and helpful/knowledgeable, the photographer however wants crazy money for some average shots of me on my bike. £7 per image or £40 for a bunch, neither of which is remotely appealing.
The trackday is a one off and not something I do alot, maybe once a year and the photos is a big part of it.
This spoilt my whole experience as photos are good memorys.
No Limits track day Mallory Park
Recent track day at Mallory Park (06 May) with No Limits. I unfortunately binned my bike early on, day finished. 2 days later I received a genuine enquiry after my health whilst still in hospital. I also heard a member of No Limits staff ( Who will remain nameless, obviously I knew who you are ran out to the incident to see if there was anything she could do while i was being seen to by the paramedics). I have also received FoC a 12 mth credit for my next track day which was scheduled for the 12th May. This is great customer service. I was already a fan of No Limits anyway especially No Limits Spanish track days. But customer service like this when it happens needs to be applauded. Thanks to all of the NL team....Top Job. Ian Addison
Poor form from no limits.
Have used no limits trackdays many times so a repeat customer, on this occasion my bike has been delayed for (expensive) repairs and out of my control I can’t make the trackday. Asked for a credit from no limits for another day and they bluntly refused. I thought the bike community stick together and looked out for one another and especially on hard times in the current climate. Very disappointed with customer service and will use other trackday companies in future.
A disheartened customer to say the least. Shame on you no limits.
Booked a Euro trackday with Nolimits…
Booked a Euro trackday with Nolimits pre covid and my trip was cancelled due to lockdown. From day 1 Nolimits have refused to offer a refund. Their initial response was to offer a 12 month credit. Given how long Covid lockdowns went on for is not sufficient. Like most people I didn't even consider traveling abroad until 2023. Since covid my circumstances have drastically changed and I can no longer afford to ride on track. Nolimits are still refusing to issue a refund and have now said I don't even have a credit with them. Please be very careful if you're considering booking anything with this company.
Clicky
Clicky. Depending on how well you know the establishment and laugh at the bad jokes depends on how your day goes.
Red Flag Frenzy
This is the second terrible experience on a No Limits track day. I emailed my feedback directly the first time, only to be met with very little appreciation for the feedback, and a fairly rigid stance on why everything they do today is appropriate and enough.
Brands Hatch GP Circuit, 18th August 2022
(Intermediate Lower)
First session, managed 4 laps (2 sighting, 2 normal) before the red flag came out - end of session.
Second session, board hadn't been updated, asked one of the instructors, they confirmed it wasn't my session, and ends up it was. I asked if I could join the Lower group session but got told no. Second session missed entirely.
Third session successful, great.
Fourth session - got out for a third of a warmup lap before the red flag was out, and with 4 minutes until the end of the session, having been sat on pit lane for 10 minutes, most of us came back in.
Fifth session successful, cool.
Sixth session, managed 1.5 laps and another red flag. Game over, day over, highly unamused.
No Limits tend to just point to their T&Cs when you share feedback, but I think they are missing the point. Unless you start to penalise those who are causing red flags across multiple track days, you're championing your least valuable customers, and frustrating your most valuable customers.
so i had my track day at brands…
so i had my track day at brands yesterday and OMG, the service frm these guysbwas on another level. Big thanks to Matt who spent ages tryin to sort out a brake lever guard for me, i dnt think anyone else wouldve been as commited as Matt in the way he helped me. This guy is a legend, im definitly coming back to nolimits. The only let down of the day wqs the tyre guy, not sure if he was having a bad day or what but he had a real bad attitude, i knw he isnt part of nolimit and i couldnt find any reviews for him online, first time i spoke to this guy and straightaway i could tell he didnt want to speak to me, his behaviour reminds me of the NF or BNP from the 80's, im not saying he is one of them but thats how he made me feel. I knew my tyres needed checkin after 3 sessions but i didnt want to go to him and at that moment another guy came off his bike due to tyres so i thought its time to go home. Hopefully next time there is a differenr tyre guy so i can be there the whole day.
5 star service!!
Iv been on and off with nolimits track days since 2015. I love the service and staff. Had few issues with my bikes and they went out thier way to help. They also have the most track days listed. You cant fault them. Please bring simon back he was too funny!
Logistics
Logistics - some bright spark scheduled a pick up from previous trackday & drop off for a future track day at the same time. It does not take a genius to figure out that produced a queue from hell, wasted hundred of hours & generally pissed their customers off.
7th August at brands hatch
7th August at brands hatch. Have done a number of these track days before. I am a motorcycle instructor and teach people to ride daily. No limits insist you go through the safety vids before allowed on the track day. This I know. Unfortunately their software is not fit for purpose and they claim I hadn't seen the safety vids. I absolutely had. The grey haired man behind the desk accused me of lying, whilst smiling at me, then accused me of swearing at him, which I did not do. Once he stopped shouting he offered me a refund by saying 'give him a refund' to his staff member. Clearly, by offering this refund so quickly, they know of the issue in their software, accept liability but are not prepared to change anything. This man has no customer service ability and is a bully, the way he speaks to customers and his team is unacceptable but he has clearly done this many times given the speed with which he got to this decision and behaviour. I am sorry for those who work for him as this sort of behaviour is unacceptable and, for the record, abuse is defined by those it is aimed at not those the supply it. I accepted the refund, so I could move on, this was a gift for my 50th Birthday from my wife. As a self employed man I had to take an unpaid day off for this 'experience', costing me money I was not offered, getting up at 5:20am and using around £20 of fuel before having to leave the venue. I do not really think this is fair but know this company cares, not a jot, for this. However, this is their opportunity to deal with this. I will advise all my students to stay well clear of this company and the bully aggressive man who works their who, in my view, has serious issue to escalate a nothing situation so fast and is unfit to deal with the public or new to motorcycling people. Nobody should accept a software system, which is faulty thus the refund, over a paying customer. Being insulted publicly by a man who may be, in his view, a perfect individual who has never put a foot wrong, is also not worth the cost of this. Don't use these people or company as, it seems, they care little for you or your life. Such a disappointing interaction and a day a gift ruined by the behaviour of someone ill equiped to do the job they are doing.
just had my first track day at Lydden…
just had my first track day at Lydden circuit as a novice, seems professional and had no issues, looking forward to going again.
PS toilets were clean and well kept which i was not expecting lol
didn't have a chance to try the food there sadly
Refund and credit note scam
Iv used No Limits a few times. Wouldnt say they are the best in the business average compared what I've used in the past. At times iv waited ages ages try speak to someone. However after dealing with them today regarding a refund I feel they don't deserve the average rating. A friend and I had a motorbike track day with them and he came off his bike. Injured himself where he felt he couldn't do our track day the following week with No Limits. We looked for a No Limits rep that day and asked for a refund. He gave us a credit note and we were charged £10 each to have 12 months credit note. 2 weeks later I'm inovoled in a life changing RTA where I can't ride anymore. I called No Limits and the gentleman on the phone was very understanding about why I wanted a refund for myself and not for my friend. He said call in a few days and ask to speak to an owner. I did today and she wasn't prepared to hear my reasons, just focused on how a credit note shouldn't have been done in the first place, how it was a good will gesture (even though we paid £20) and that I could name change the credit with the 10 months left I have. She instantly got defensive and hostile the second I questioned her. Forcing a polite attitude as if to try sweeten the bitter way she was coming across. Just bear in mind that once you pay any money over its very difficult to get a refund or credit note. I now have have try sell this credit which is the last problem I need after spending 3 weeks in intensive care.
Avoid if you really are a novice track rider!!
I did this event recently, as a true novice track day rider at Brands Hatch, and was alarmed at how seemingly unorganised the event was.
I went on my own and it was impossible to identify where to go upon entering the circuit, identify instructors to settle my nerves and know where to go for things such as noise testing/ registration.
Added to this it felt totally uncomfortable just knowing where to put yourself, amongst a glut of participants that have clearly done this activity many times. In my novice group there were many riders with track bikes and that had done these events multiple times in recent years. I also observed over 10 crashes during the day.
I’d suggest steering clear of this event and finding reviews on a well organised event, should you be a true novice rider. The definition of novice is clearly misunderstood by the event organisers.
