First rate
This was my first visit to Nicholson Eyecare, having previously used corporate opticians through work schemes.
What a breath of fresh air! Clare and Holly could not have been more helpful. They were more interested in getting the prescription right than selling me a new pair of specs. I have greatly impaired vision in one eye and Clare took time to understand the condition and factor that in when testing. Given that my eyesight had not deteriorated significantly the recommendation was to stick with my current glasses.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Designer sunglasses
I gave my vintage Dior sunglasses to Clare for replacement varifical lenses and I’m delighted with the result. She was most helpful and professional.

Top quality and very thorough testing and no rushing around. Very pleasant and personable experience, also close to where I live so very convenient. Not as cheap as some other outlets but not over the top and, you get what you pay for.

Caring and Attentive - Great Customer Service
I have always had a problem with having my eyes examined - tears stream down my face and I hate bright lights. Nicholson is the first practice I've attended where I feel comfortable and not embarrassed by my issues. Very caring attention and the ongoing feedback gives you comfort your eye health is important to the team.

Professional , caring service
Clare and the team have always impressed me with their friendly and professional approach . The equipment they use is state of the art. Some years ago during my test Clare discovered a detaching retina and insisted I went urgently to the eye hospital . Two days later it was repaired with painless laser eye surgery . Her experience and care saved my sight and I will always be grateful .

I had a fantastic service at Nicholson…
I had a fantastic service at Nicholson Eyecare, where I felt to be in very experienced and professional hands. The optometrist (Maria) was very diligent, confirming the reasons behind the issues I’ve been experiencing, whilst also prepared to conduct further research into my very complicated proscription as part of a follow up. The front of house team were also very friendly as usual, making me feel very welcome.

Excellent eye care
I’m very glad to have transferred my eye care to Nicholson’s and to be back in Claire’s care again. I have glasses and contact lenses under their EyePlan. Claire is extremely thorough and uses all the most up to date diagnostic technology. She and all the staff at Nicholsons are lovely and visits to the opticians are now a joy. I’m thrilled with my new glasses thanks to the advice given on lenses and frames. I can also recommend Alex, the audiologist from Hearing Care Partnership.

Nicholson Eyecare are just the best, nothing is ever to much of a problem and amazing staff. How many places can you walk into with a broken pair of glasses and find a new pair that lenses fitted into and walk out with brand new glasses, amazing and many thanks.
