I have been looked after by Nicholson Eye Care for the last two years and can fully recommend them. Clare is a very thorough optometrist and shows that she cares for the eyesight of her customers. As someone who has had eye problems her help has been a real comfort. She is ably supported by her team.

First visit and most definitely not the last!
Having been recommended (by many) to Nicholson Eyecare, I attended my first eye test, hoping not to be disappointed.
I was delighted with the service received from everyone there. A very comprehensive eye test and discussion of scans with Claire, followed by Jasmin, Bonnie & Holly who were all so very honest about frames that do and don’t suit you. Plus, you weren’t pushed to the most expensive frames - they have all prices there and many in a sale too!
I would recommend Nicholson Eyecare to anyone. You won’t be disappointed.

If you want to know your eyes are in safe hands then Clare and her team are the people to trust. Every aspect of care is very thorough, personalised and explained in simple terms.
25 years as a client and no intention of going anywhere else as exceptional service isn't always easy to find.

Clare (the Optometrist) is always so patient and encouraging. She clearly explains what she is going to do before she does it and she helps you to understand the result of the various tests. You definitely feel that you are in good hands.

My late brother was an optician
My late brother was an optician, so I know what a great eye test I get at Nicholson eyecare. Due to my special requirements they even sourced frames for me from Australia. Would recommend.

Excellent eye care service
Very professional, caring service. I needed an urgent appointment and Holly went out of her way to make sure I could have an appointment next day with Maria, the optician.
I had a very thorough eye examination and my mind was put at ease.
First class service from a very friendly team. Highly recommended.

Nicholson Eye Care-the very best
I found the staff efficient,patient-and blessed with a great sense of humour! They help sort out any eye problems,and have done for years,and now they sort out hearing problems! We are very lucky to have them in our village,so a big “thank you” to all of you,including Alex!

All the team at Nicholson Eye Care provide an exceptional service. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They are professional, very thorough and friendly too. They have an excellent range of glasses.

Personal and professional service
I changed to Clare 12 months ago and immediately noticed the difference from my previous high street chain where it felt like you were on a conveyor belt. I have just been back for my latest check up and nothing has changed. I received the same warm welcome upon arrival and the same personal and professional examination where time is taken to discuss and explain everything to you. I am so pleased that I switched and would wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone, let's support our local optician.
